I own this in about six colors, different colors & amounts of glitter. I don't always wear eye liner, but this is what I reach for when I do. It goes on fairly true to description but it dries out horribly after about 6 hours (maybe it works better on oily eye lids) Thin lines are the key to my application, super thick lines seems to wear off the worse. My eyes are super sensitive & can water at a moments notice, when that happens this stuff hangs on! I always use an eye makeup remover because it is waterproof and don't recommend for daily use, it would irritate my eyes applying & removing daily.

I'm relatively new to eyeliners - and to eye makeup in general. So, I wasn't sure if it was me and faulty application or the eyeliner that was causing problems until I read these reviews (which, of course, I should have done before purchasing, I know). This *does* flake off and my eyes get irritated every single time I wear it. The color is a very saturated black and I had no problems with it going on smoothly. I won't repurchase it, which is a shame, because now I need to go hunt for yet another eyeliner. Sigh.

Flakes off easily. I have very sensitive eyes, and and the flakes really irritate my eyes. So not worth the money.

Terrible product, probably the worst eyeliner I have ever used. After about 4 hours it separated into hundreds of tiny flakes, many of which ended up in my eyes, causing major irritation (and some actual pain). Can't believe anyone is allowed to sell this product.

I am still on the hunt for the perfect eyeliner. I used Mally for a while, then switched to this for the inner rim. I am OVER using every pencil in the world on there only to have it wear off after 2 hours. The brush is a little stiff and if I try to use it on my upper lid it gets all over my lashes so I have to curl them afterwards and this stuff gets stuck on the front of my eyelash curler. Anyway, I use this on the inner rim and hold my lid down for a few seconds fanning away to get it to set, which it does and with the exception of the very outer corner, it stays put.
If someone has a better way of getting eyeliner to stay all day on the inner rim without it being really rubbery, I'm all ears.
I do like this product, I have repurchased, and I will continue to use this while I'm waiting for something better to come along.

The first time I screwed the top off and examined the brush, I was so amazed at how ridiculously thin it was. This is what made me think that I'd love it! Don't get me wrong, it does last a pretty long time and doesn't run but the application isn't as smooth as I'd hope it would be. When applying, the bristles of the brush will spread out and your liner will not go on smooth! I put 3 lippies because the formula itself was pretty good. Just not the actual brush. I don't like it though. I wouldn't repurchase..

Here's another product that I do not really agree w most of the review on. I think this waterproof liner is really good. I was using L'oreal lineur intense (brush tip) liner before this and i loved it, only, it wasn't waterproof!! I am extremely particular about my liquid eyeliners. I hate the felt tip kinds and some of the brushes i find too flimsy (even the L'oreal one i have i switched the brush w something else). The one in this liner is OK. I do find it can be a bit scratchy when i'm lining certain areas. I wore this only once and like it so far. I have had no problems w it gunking up anywhere and I applied this w ease. yes, it's a bit thicker in consistency than i prefer, but hey, it's not a bad product. I got this in black and it dries a "matte" black. The price is about $23CDN. I wouldn't say it's ridiculously exp, esp compared to other MUFE products. Right now, I would buy this again, unless i find something faulty w continued use.

EDIT - After using this a couple more times, I am not liking it at all. The brush is pokey and I don't find that there is enough pigmentation. This went back to Sephora.

I bought this off a recommendation from the SA from Sephora. My mistake. This really is a waterproof liner and will not budge once dried. The small awkward brush makes it hard to work with and the drying time is very slow. It resulted in a mess that got all over my eyelashes and lots of smearing. I would not recommend or repurchase.

I don't know what to say, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I do like this product… after the first month. The small thing they call a "brush tip" is insane… the tip is super long so it isn't easy to apply or control when applying on your lids. The trick is to use your own brush, just take some of the liquid stuff of the "stock" brush (with your own brush) and apply, way easier.Yea, i guess it is a little time consuming because you have to clean your brush right afterwards but… I'd rather do that then make a big mistake on my lids (they weren't kidding this stuff will last forever), it's really hard to take this stuff off, so if you make a mistake… bust out some makeup remover and rub. It sucks if you have your eye shadows and stuff on. Overall, yes, this product will not smear/smudge, it will last, and the pigment is really nice. Cons are; brush tip sucks, it will dry out over time (clumps up inside bottle and on brush).

I bought this at Sephora after asking a sales assosciate about a GOOD waterproof liquid eyeliner. She told that this was the best of the bunch, so I decided to try it..and I'm somewhat dissappointed seeing as how much I paid for htis tiny bottle.

PROS: thin brush which makes it more versatile for how u want to draw your line, sort of doesn't smudge...does end up smudging by the end of the day :(, love the black colour

CONS: the wand always gets in the way of my eyelashes after i curl it, so i recommend putting on the eyeliner before curling :S:S but yeah, it gets pretty messy!!! It isn't so waterproof after all, though it doesn't smudge with water that easily, the oils frm my skin totally causes the eyeliner to melt and then smudge along the creases of my eyes...that's a big no no :(

over all, this is an OKAY eyeliner but you would need retouching and maybe a good eyelid primer to set it??? wouldn't repurchase because the price is a bit expensive and hte bottle is pretty small!!

Though I do appreciate the fact that it looks the same at night as it does when I put it on, I dislike this eyeliner greatly. The brush is awkward and scratchy, in turn getting on my eyelashes and making a big mess. I know what I'm doing when it comes to liquid eyeliners, but I dislike using this one. Unless I'm going to be out all night without my makeup, then I don't really use this eyeliner. I much prefer maybelline waterproof liquid eyeliner, best i've ever used.

OH HELL NO! This was a HUGE disappointment! The brush, not the wand, is WAY 2 SHORT! It gets in the way of ur eyelashes. I've been wearing liquid eyeliner since i'm 12 years old, so I know what i'm doing, but this stuff makes a mess. Plus it gets thick & goopy, but if the brush was longer it wouldn't be so bad. Thank god I was able 2 return this.

This is actually my favorite liner. I alternate between this and Christian Dior’s Intense Liquid Style liner, so obviously I like a dark, dramatic look and both deliver that. I prefer MUFE because the brush is thinner and the formula is waterproof. It’s a very dark, matte formula that lasts – so much so that it can be difficult to remove. But an oil cleanser usually does the trick. I did notice that it dries oddly and you’ll feel something slightly irritating your eye… sort of a poking feeling. But I’m not sure if it’s where I’m applying it; possibly too close to the waterline. And, because it is waterproof, you do want to be extra careful when applying it. The brush takes some time to maneuver and, if you make a mistake, you’ll probably with stuck with an unruly line or with tiny black ‘ink’ marks around your eye. But once you’ve learned how to use it, it’s genius. I’ve purchased this two times already and will continue to do so.

I found this liner almost impossible to use. The first couple of times were decent- I was happy with how long it lasted, and that it was indeed waterproof. After that, it just began to smudge everywhere during application. It would get on my eyelashes, then on my fingers, then on my eyelids, then under my eyes... everywhere but where I actually wanted the stuff! I believe the product could be improved upon by making the brush bigger, or like a felt-tip.

What a waste of money. I had to throw this out after using it just once. The brush was split before I even used it and it was impossible for me to draw a straight line with it. Plus, the brush is too hard and scratchy. Will never buy this again. In fact, I'm going to warn people against this.

I did not understand what "flaking" was until I tested this product. It is indeed waterproof, but the brush is a little awkward and it takes a while to dry. And then the flaking begins!

If you're looking for this kind of effect, gel eyeliners are 95% waterproof (I tested this myself), and are easier to apply. I would advise you to skip over this product, though...

Decided to re-write my review after coming back to this liquid liner. It is a very waterproof formula, so a bit thicker than traditional liquids. But this will last all day long. I'm on my 5th of these now. The only gripe I have is that the formula gets a little clumpy after a few months so you may have to repurchase, but it's worth every penny. Thinner than MAC's formula and doesn't ball-up if you reline throughout the day. Also the brush is very thin which I love. Lasts on my oily skin all day and looks very subtle and natural. Only other liner that lasts as long is the Kat von D tattoo liner in trooper, and that comes in pen form. MUFE is a must have if you're a liquid liner fan.

Absolutely terrible. My 4 dollar Rimmel eyeliner BLOWS this out of the water! First of all the brush is terrible, the first time I used it I thought it was okay but in subsequent uses it started to separate and it was impossible to get a nice line. The formula is also terrible as well as it comes out all gloopy on the brush but when you wipe it off the brush is immediately too dry--there's no in between. And if you somehow manage to apply it, the formula is really hard to appy evenly. Also, I don't know why this happens with this eyeliner as it is almost exactly the same shape as my Rimmel eyeliner but it always gets caught in my eyelashes which equals CLUMPY EYELASHES! I absolutely hate this wretched stuff and I can't believe I paid sooooo much for it! I wish I could rate this a zero--beware!

I definitely recommend Rimmel liquid eyeliner, a quarter of the price and I always get a nice long lasting look from it.
