This stuff is cheaper than Seche Vite, and the shrinking isn't as bad which I really appreciate! But I let my polish dry for 10 minutes before I put on this fast dry top coat and it STILL smudged my nails. Not sure about the drying time yet but I'm so frustrated with how it destroyed my manicure that I won't be buying it again.

Decided to try this product and I must say...IT WAS A DISASTER! I applied this on top of a jelly based glitter polish in hopes it would make it dry fast and 24 hrs later...my nail polish was still not completely dry and I ended up simply peeling the polish off because they were not dry! This top coat also has a lingering strong odor! I will be sticking to my Seche Vite top coat from here on out!!

I love how fast my nails dry but it doesn't keep them from chipping.

I quite like this one, it dries fast and gives nice shine. It also doesn't go goopy easily. However, I'm not the biggest fan of the brush in this one and also the smell is a bit weird for me.

I think China Glaze is my favorite nail polish brand. I love this top coat. It is every bit as good as Seche Vite and smells a whole lot better. The formula is much thinner and easier to use as well. I have not had any shrinkage and it dries lightening fast. And it's cheaper than Seche Vite. As with all China Glaze products, the brush works well and I get one thin coat without any problems.
It's a great top coat, I will absolutely buy again.

I am constantly painting my nails expecting salon results and sadly always end up chipping or smudging them within minutes of applying just a base coat and layer of color. I nominate Fast Forward for beauty product of the year - you cannot mess up polishing your nails anymore with this top coat! Within 30 seconds of applying a base coat (preferred: Essie Ridge Filling Base Coat) and layer of color, you can top it off with FF and your nails will SHINE. In respect to other reviews, I also compared it to Seche Vite - Seche takes longer to dry than FF - I also did not experience the "shrinkage" and only slight peeling once.

Pros:
Gives the best shine out of all my top coats
Cons:
The worst smudger for nail art!
Quite expensive for the job it does
Bit pricey
The smell is horrible
Overall:
Would only use for basic manicures as the shine is fantastic. However it's most notorious for smudging and smearing nail art. Steer clear other nail artists!

I like that it makes my nails dry extremely fast! However I find that it doesn't help with chipping, in fact it makes it worse! I find that large chips of nail polish come off very easily. Quite disappointing! Still on the hunt for the perfect top coat..

I bought this because the store attendant recommended it to me when I purchased one of their glitter polishes. It's pretty good and dries extremely fast, but I found that my nail polish was PEELING OFF after a day!!! I was very disappointed with this. I don't know whether it was just a defect with mine or it happens with all of them. But I will certainly not be repurchasing this.

So, I've never bought Seche Vite - the price point always turned me off. China Glaze is MUCH cheaper and I can't imagine anything working better - this top coat dries so quickly! Used to paint my nails really rarely because of the dry time - now I change polish several times a week. Sometimes out of necessity, I guess maybe Seche Vite might be better at protecting a manicure as per some reviews... but often I just change because I'm bored, so I don't mind at all.
Will definitely purchase again!

I was looking for a new top coat that would give me the same results as my favorite Seche Vite without the tendency to get goopy and thick before I can use half the bottle. I am going to compare it to Seche Vite in my review since that it how I will mentally compare it when it comes time to buy a new bottle of top coat and I have to choose between the two.
Pros:
*Thinner formula than Seche Vite (glides on more smoothly)
*Dries just as quickly as Seche Vite
*Beautiful, shiny finish once dry (for day #1)
*Less offensive smell (the scent does linger, however)
*Less toxic ingredients than Seche Vite
*Doesn't thicken as quickle (I am half way through my bottle and it applies just as nicely as it did the first time I used it)
*I love China Glaze's brush
Cons:
*Shrinkage (I think it is worse than with Seche Vite but it is to be expected in a fast dry top coat)
*Tip wear (I find that I have tip wear by the end of the next day)
*Loses shine & chips on day #2 (this doesn't bother me personally because I paint my nails every other night)
I would recommend you try this top coat if you're in the market for one that compares to Seche Vite but doesn't contain the toxic ingredients (not that you'll find a nail polish that is "non-toxic") & doesn't thicken up and become useless half way through the bottle.

Super impressive fast drying!!!
The polish itself isn't too thin or thick, its simply perfect! I don't know why I ever strayed from this topcoat cuz I ALWAYS keep coming back to this one.
Adds great shine and seals in the color perfectly....I can go a long time with no chips either.
Scent can linger like the other reviews have said but in the end this stuff is worth it!! Plus imo its not that bad lol

I bought this recently because my old OPI top coat dried up and got all thick and hard to brush. I bought it because it was fast drying, and that really lived up to my expectations! It dries so quickly! As far as protecting nail polish, it doesn't impress me that much. I painted my nails 2 nights ago and I haven't worked since then (I work in retail so hangers really do damage to nail polish), yet my polish is already wearing off. It's not very noticeable but I feel like I already have to change my polish. It also kind of shrinks over the polish but, again, that's not noticeable unless you are really looking at it. I gave it a 4 overall because I feel like it could protect polish a lot longer but it did dry quickly and makes your nails really really shiny. It's easy to brush on and I paid $4.99 for it so I can't complain about price. I'd probably buy it again just because it was so cheap and I love the shine.

I got this the other day and did my nails and wow did it dry fast! I used their base as well as polishes and am very impressed that over my glitter it's smooth and feels strong. It's a reasonable price for a top coat and I think it did the job so far no chipping yet. If it doesn't chip really bad I will be very happy. So far so good though and I beat on my hands playing guitar.
I think it really does a nice job.
EDIT: Just finished my first bottle and it worked perfectly to the end. Got the last one at Sally's yesterday. Luv this top coat!

Hot dog this bad boy makes nails dry fast, I'm sold!
Not thick and goopy like Seche Vite and not super thin like others I've tried.

I'm a polish junkie so I've tried many many top coats and they are all in a box as I keep going back to my faithful Fast Forward.
Even more expensive products don't seem to match up to this. It doesn't bubble on the nail, it seems to even itself out once applied and it tries quickly. Also, I know everyone has their own taste and sense of smell but this product actually smells OK. I don't mean stick it right up to your nose but it doesn't have a strong lingering smell, it's hard to explain.
The only thing you have to watch out for is if you put numerous (more then 2) coats of color under this remember the top will dry faster then the polish so it can move around on you or ripple if you don't give it more time to dry. Even so, if it does ripple or move the top coat is strong enough I have just pushed it right back and it's like I never had a issue.
I hope they do not stop making this one!

I was on a search for a top coat and base coat. I didn't want to spend a heck of a lot of money so I decided to try out china glaze. The top coat is AMAZING!!! As soon as apply the top coat it seems as if my nails are dry. My nail polishes last up to 5 days without chipping. So, once I run out of this I will be getting it again!!

I've purchased this twice, and I love it!! I love the thin consistency, and the brush. It dries incredibly fast even if I have 3 coats of color. The smell is weird, but much better than regular nail polish! I think this is my favorite :) I don't like the base coat by china glaze, but I will repurchase this over and over.. it does get a little thick towards the end of the bottle, but most polishes do..

China Glaze Fast Forward rapid dry topcoat-- I love it!
I can honestly say I probably will never need to purchase either Seche Vite or Poshe again because Fast Forward delivers a MUCH shinier finish. As for wear and tear, my manis last about 7 days with any of these 3 topcoats, as long as I take care to wear rubber gloves when my hands need to be in water for any great length of time.
Dry down time was excellent -- equal, if not faster, than with Seche Vite and Poshe. But again, it's the BRILLIANT shine that has won me over. I find that both Seche Vite and Poshe give my manis a just blah shine. I would say that Fast Forward is equal to the shine I get from CND Super Shiney! I can get 10 days wear with Super Shiney, which is why I slightly prefer it if I'm not in a hurry.
The only negative, is that I wish Fast Forward were available in a larger bottle or in a refill (as are Poshe and SV)! I just purchased my last bottle of FF a little over a month ago, and I'll soon need a replacement (I change up my spring/summer color manis and pedis very often).
Last few times I was at Sally's, it was OOS. :/
