I couldn't find this lotion locally to sample its fragrance, so I took a chance purchasing it online. It'ss OK but not what I was hoping for in terms of scent. I wanted it to smell more like Nars Body Glow II monoi oil (the bottle w/the tiare flower in it), but instead this smells highly sweet & a lot like pineapples or peaches (there's peach extract in it). My mom says it smells like white peaches & I agree. The scent is fun & summery, but not what I was looking for - I wanted sultry, spicy, warm gardenia Nars type of smell. I'm holding off on buying Nars due to its high price.


This lotion's texture is lovely - it's very light & silky, easy to spread & rich in moisture but not greasy. If I apply only what I need, it sinks right in & leaves my skin feeling moisturized yet normal (not greasy or dry) & smelling very sweet. If I apply it more generously, it still sinks into my skin but leaves behind a mild sheen that I love, a look of dewy health that's very appealing & still not greasy feeling. My skin is silky to the touch but not slick. I value the sheen-factor in a product & have a hard time finding a good lotion that fits all my criteria.


I expect I'll particularly enjoy using this lotion on beach days (dry skin!), but I'm not sure that I would try to buy it again - besides the scent being not what I wanted, this product unfortunately also contains phenoxyethanol AND 5 types of parabens (WTF!), which is disappointing - I know these chemicals are in most commercial products but they trouble my conscience about health. If I could combine the sensual scent of Nars Body Glow II with the natural ingredients of Korres body butter, I'd have the perfect body lotion.


My real rating would be 3.5 lippies - I like it more than 3 but not quite as much as 4.

Right now I'm living in a northern, very cold climate and this stuff works wonders. My skin has become lizard-like and I apply this every night. It smells amazing and is not greasy. I would use it in the summer, too, since it's not greasy.

I won this at a baby shower with a few other goodies and WOW. LOVE THE SMELL. Love the way it feels on my skin. Feels like it is moisturizing and does not bother my sensitive skin at all. Will buy some of this as soon as I run out. Also I think this will make a wonderful gift for the teens in my family.

I absolutely LOVE this lotion. I have tried everything out there and this is by far my fave!!! it's light weight, doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy and i have acne prone skin and this works perfect! Plus it smells absolutely amazing!! i will continue to buy this as long as it's on the shelves!!

Face lotion! No irritation pore swelling enlargement. maintain nose pores, heals, use under makeup, WOW! beautiful gleam, model fine. I really hate it when any face lotion/cream puts scent in it and this wasn't made for face but I can handle the scent on my face but a teeny vapor. Can they unscent some too? or is the flower in it just natural and apart of the formula you might not want to change becasue it works so well? Will still use on face if can't. Use for life. Love how smooth it is overall. When I used this I had just looked at this long tone legged model in Vogue against bright sky blue background and white sand and it feels like that picture, freash, rich/releaxed/wealthy like and healthy like the most refined to go with it for the health and balence of relaxed female not sporty...helped me with those stubborn five pounds and leg toning. Not commercial, cheap like at all, special. Love it!!!!!

I love this lotion. I used to use it after showering. I like to switch it up so I will go back to it. Is smells sooooo good and really helps my skin stay moist during the winter weather.

I have used Tahiti Sweetie for several years and I love it! It is a staple in my beauty regimen.
Scent- I especially love it in summer because it smells so tropical and is fantastic. It's not overwhelming, though.
Packaging- The packaging is nice- looks okay sitting out and is an easy open snap cap. I hate when creams come in screw cap jars. It would be nicer to have it in a pump and I do in fact have a pump filled with it, but it is okay.
Formula- It moisturizes so well and absorbs quickly. It is unlike any lotion I have used (and that's a good thing).
Price- The regular price is $15 so I do like to get it on sale or at least use a coupon when it is time to stock up, but it lasts a while and actually is worth the price. I will buy it as long as they continue to make it.

I wanted to like this product. As far as moisturizing, it worked well for me in the summer but did not stand up to my winter dry skin, which is when I moisturize frequently. Also, the scent is SO strong! I think I would re-purchase this if it was toned down a notch or two.

My BF's girlfriend gave the rest of her bottle to me. After I used it I couuldn't imagine why she would give it away. I've been lookin around for mono oil which is the ingredient in this lotion. As per the directions, I use when i get out of the shower, it glides on and the scent is light and unnoticable to others, except maybe yourself and your man. I personally would have liked for a stronger scent. This isn't a moisturizing lotion. Just something to pamper youself with after you get out of the shower. Also mono oil does something for the skin.If your into lotions spa like proucts, the small bottle runs for 6 bux.

This is my go to lotion. My friend gave me 2 bottles of this because the smell became offensive to her. I have a very strong sense of smell and I could use this everyday and still love it just as much. I have extremely dry skin and this always comforts me when I feel like my body is about rip from dryness. It smells exactly how it sounds. It is truly tropical and a *happy* type of smell. The scent does linger..so if you don't like it then you may as well try something else. But if you like the scent(which is amazing!) and have dry skin this is completely worth every dime. I would pay $15 a bottle for this lotion-but luckily BBW always has some type of deal going on. It lasts a long time too-a little goes a long way. I rather pay $15 for a lotion that I have to use very little of to moisturize than $3 on something I have to use 1/4 of to moisturize my body.

Best lotion for me ever...of course, I have to keep unscented lotions around (Cetaphil, my friend) in order to not clash with any perfume I wear, but for the longest time, I was just living on the scent of this lotion, especially in the summertime. I have supremely dry skin, no joke. And it can itch. I've improved things by drinking more water and green tea. This lotion has been the best for me. I usually use body moisturizers, finish the bottle/tube/jar, then go onto something else because I'm bored with it. I haven't been bored with this one. I've been through 3 or 4 of the large tubes (I don't use them all the time), and I've stocked up recently during their sale. I also use them on my feet after my home treatment, rather than one of those rich foot creams that make my feet feel slimy, even the Bath and Body Works ones.

Out of every lotion, cream, or butter that I've used from any brand, this has got to be my absolute favorite product. I got a small bottle of this because I was unsure of how I'd feel about the very tropical scent of it. But as soon as I got home and started using it, I fell in love! And so did many of my classmates as they all started to steal it from me during the school day! I love the little bottles, they're so perfect for your purse, but I just can't wait to get a bigger bottle of this wonderful lotion. First off, I love the scent of this. It's so perfect for summer, I love how tropical it is. It's also a very light scent and is not so thick and heavy, but is still somewhat moisturizing. This is the only thing I wear during the summer because no other lotion is light enough for me. I love it so much, I really hope it never gets discontinued!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! This product is soooo good! It keeps my skin hydrated all day long and smells delicious! I love how tropical it smells, it's so fresh and clean. The scent is very relaxing and does wonders for my skin. This product is on of my all time favorites. I reminds me a summer but I use it all year round because I love it so much. A little goes a long way so it last for a good time. Go try it!

got this on major sale..otherwise i probably would not have spent $20 on it.
Pros: 1. the scent is amazing, tropical and luscious 2. its quite moisturizing and sinks in pretty fast 3. the texture is really soft and not too thick 4. the squeeze tube is probably my favorite lotion dispenser
Cons: 1. i find i have to moisturize twice a day with it because it does not keep my dry skin moisturized enough 2. it is kind of expensive for a bbw product imo
I may consider buying it again if i find it on major sale but i dont find myself wandering into bbw much

This is my summer lotion! The smell is very tropical....and reminds me of pina coladas on the beach! Perfect for summer! It moisturizes well (IMO better than most BBW lotions), but I buy it for the fragrance.

If only I could find a winter fragrance I like just as well!

this is my FAVORITE lotion! dayummm i wish i could eat myself after i put this on. yhea it smells that good! i always wish i was at the beach and this lotion controls that longing.mmmm so yummy i hope they make this into a perfume its worth every penny. as far as moisturizeing goes the smell is just so DELISH i dont even care about that. i buy this 4 the smell so that should tell you something. idk if this softens skin thats really dry, but it smooths mine really nicely.

I wear this lotion for the smell. The fragrance comes off as a little strong sometimes, but that helps the scent last longer.

I agree with others that the lotion isn't super moisturizing, or--at least--the moisturization doesn't last long.

Here's the kicker---I think Tahiti Sweetie lotion might repel mosquitoes--at least when I wear it. Maybe it's a skin chemistry thing. Mosquitoes usually go after me full-force, but they seem to stay away when I wear this cream. It sounds weird, but it is something I noticed. I'm going to test it out to see if the effect is real or if I am going crazy.

I don't think I'd repurchase this because it's not moisturizing at all. The only thing going for this product is, like many have said, is it's fragrance - which smells like pineapples. To me, this didn't smell like monoi oil either, which I sort of expected (as it's mentioned in the name). That being said, regardless, it definitely made me feel like I'm in Tahiti or some nice summery sandy beachy place. Wish it didn't contain alcohol in it then I would have repurchased for sure. Did i mention it has a hefty pricetag of $18 Cdn (before taxes)? Not worth the splurge (for me) because it dries out my skin. Bummer!
