This mens fragrance smells AMAZING. This must be the best calvin klein fragrance made. Now a days you could find a 1.7 fl oz bottle for only 25 bucks at discount stores. Every man I know loves this fragrance too.

I am a female but I still wear Eternity for Men sometimes. It has a wonderful scent and I think its not too strong or light. It also lasts a while too. Overall this product smells Ah-mazing!!!

Like many older fragrances that inspired a million imitations, Eternity is somehow richer, less obnoxious, and more interesting than its copycats. The "fresh fougére" trend in men's fragrances basically kickstarted with this one, another innovative-for-its-time besteller from Calvin Klein. Eternity is a clean (yet not soapy), green (yet not obnoxiously summery), and highly wearable (yet not dull) scent that smells instantly familiar to millions who sniffed it during its heyday. Its top notes are citrusy and fresh, like a mandarin orange smelled through a layer of damp leaves, while the drydown is a slightly drier, more leathery variation on the same theme. It's a rainy-day-in-late-spring scent, and it leaves a "green" impression throughout; you could swear there's actual chlorophyll in the bottle.
Eternity isn't terribly complex, but compared to its imitators (ie. half of every men's fragrance counter since 1990), it's intriguing, especially if you didn't grow up with it back in the day. My fragrance experience in the '90s, as a preteen, basically started and ended with CK One, so I've never been hugely familiar with Eternity. As I smell it for the first time in the here and now, it strikes me as that very coveted kind of old-fashioned fragrance - classic without being stodgy or too "cologne-y". The drydown really anchors that impression - whereas most "fresh" men's fragrances of today have little to no development on the skin (I'm looking at you, Lacoste Essential), Eternity has something to say past the first 30 minutes - not an impassioned speech, mind you, but a word or two that makes an impression. If you think the top notes are too obnoxious or insipid, wait an hour or so - the tail end of Eternity's development is downright classy.
Getting down to brass tacks, Eternity's lasting power is (fittingly) excellent with only moderate sillage, so you won't be detected from across the room when you wear it. (Still, apply with a light hand - you'll be less likely to trigger '80s flashbacks for those around you of a certain age.) For a department store fragrance that can now be found at many drugstores for a song, you could do a lot worse. Before plunking down $80 for the latest designer fragrance that attempts (and most likely fails) to jump on the Eternity bandwagon, why not just try the original? I like keeping a bottle of it around; when I'm in the mood for a "fresh" scent with a bit of backbone to it, Eternity hits the spot.

I can't help but associate this scent with an ex boyfriend who wore it. Thankfully he wore it very modestly and did not overdose. He always smelled perfect and subtle. It was not a scent that clouded around him but only mildly detectable when he was close. It was like cool clean linen, crisp white sheets and warm skin only better -- and masculine and sexy but not musky or sharp in the least. Perhaps he just happened to have the right chemistry to wear this. I haven't smelled this on any others that I am aware of. I used to love borrowing his sweater and it would smell like Eternity. I think this scent is classy but not pretentious.

Nice citrus, and a sandalwood base. This is a summer t-shirt jeans to night-time long lasting scent. Clean and manly. My son should consider this in high-school.

Nice bottle, shame about the scent. This is the only fragrance I have ever worn that people actually told me to my face that it smelled awful! The girls in my office joked about it for days. I didn't think much of it either but was younger then and so was inclined to fall for all the "but it's Calvin Klien' crap. But hey, we all go through that stage.

My ex bf during my teenage year worn Eternity. The good old days of early 90's (I'm 28). It smell sexy, clean, not overly masculin, a scent you may be tempted to use yourself when you want to smell intimate. The only drawback is too many people wear it. Eternity was the cult scent for definite reasons.

My SO wears this - mostly b/c it is inexpensive and easy to find - it is now at DRUG stores as well as department stores. There is a slightly herbaceous (faint hint of lavender??) and spicy quality that works well on him and smells clean. Nice but by no means a holy grail. I prefer Guerlain's Imperiale or many Creed fragrances to this. OK - and very affordable.

I love the way this smells on my SO. It's fresh, but slightly spicy - a real classic young man's scent. I don't agree about it being too feminine, but then again I do like a quick spritz from his dresser now & then! Don't overlook this because it's popular - it's popular for a very good reason!

I absolutely love the way this smells. Calvin Klein makes some excellent men's colognes, IMO. Ladies, grab your man and douse him in this. You won't be sorry.

To me, this smells way too much like a womens perfume. This isn't something that I would want my boyfriend to wear.

I loved smelling this on my guy. I thought it was very sexy - brought out the best in him. I'll have to agree that it does smell a tad feminine but I don't see anything wrong with that. Anyway, this is my fave CK men's fragrance. Love it!

Smells good, but I think this fragrance is way too feminine for a man.
