After a few weeks of owning this product, I just cracked the code on how to use the Secret Camouflage (left pan). Now that I have, I feel free to give this product five stars!

The trick for the harder, lighter Secret Camouflage concealer -- designed for concealing red marks -- is to pound the tip of your brush directly into the pan to collect product and then tap the tip firmly onto the skin (with the brush perpendicular). Brushing the pan and then brushing the skin does NOT work to deposit enough of the Camouflage product. Once I realized I needed to use the tip of the brush and not the flat part, the Camouflage made my blemishes literally almost invisible to the eye.

Though I haven't used the powder much, I've been enjoying this product for what I purchased it for: making me look more awake in the mornings by concealing my bluish undereye circles with the right pan, and covering the red spots on my face from pimples and around the nose with the left pan. This little pot will last for a long time, and I would purchase it again.

I just bought this but I want to post some info that I was having trouble finding when I was researching.
One side is Secret Camouflage & one side is Secret Concealer. I compared the Secret Camouflage in this set to the one with 2 shades. Undercover (UC-1) has a very light shade in it, almost as white as the lightest shade in Camouflage. Even with quick, mid-day application it worked pretty well to counteract the redness around my nose. The Secret Concealer shade looks fairly dark but it works pretty well to correct & conceal the undereye area.

I will edit this as I use it more

Update: I returned this. The colors weren't quite a good match for me. The Camo was a bit too light & the Concealer was a bit too dark

I recently bought this off strawberry net for a bargain which is why I listed it as a 2 for price.

This is the first concealer that I genuinely like! The salmony colour is perfect for concealing under the eye and the fair to light tone is an exact match for my colouring. It looks heavy duty but feels quite light. I apply it with a Real Techniques eye brush which helps buff and blend the concealer seamlessly with my foundation. I have used it a few times to cover up blemishes but much prefer it for under the eye.

The skin tone colour which feels to be a dense powder is handy for powdering over light blemishes.

It is a very cute, handy package but the pans are starting to fall out of the package which is why I have given it a 3 - but really it's not the biggest injustice in the world. There is a mirror which is essential if you are on the go and you need to do any touch ups.

I have this in level 4. I like it very much. I have HORRIBLE under eye circles. The salmon color is creamy and blurrs my cirlces pretty well. I haven't found anything that can make them disappear completely. The lighter side is stiffer, but I mix a little of the salmon in with it and use it to cover/fill-in old acne scars. This does settle in lines a little, but I have never used an under eye concealer that doesn't.

I bought this product through StrawberryNet (I believe this version has been replaced by the Undercover Pot, which includes powder as well) in shades 2 and 3. I also use the corrector/concealer system from Bobbi Brown which I find very effective although you need to be careful to set it properly or else you get fallout from your mascara quite easily. I find that the Undercover gives such a fantastically natural result and quick to apply too! I use the LM secret concealer brush, apply a very, very small amount from the right part with short, featherlike strokes under my eyes, warm it slightly with my fingers - and the dark circles are gone! I use a tiny bit of powder to set and the result keeps all day. The left hand side covers old sins from enjoying the sun a bit too much (melasma) and different kinds of imperfections beautifully. Great product and lots of mileage for the money!

Never thought I'd find my HG concealer, but this is it til I find something better at least.

I apply it with a concealer brush.
True, the secret concealer isn't as creamy as the camouflage but it still provides good coverage and sometimes I mix the two. The concealer brush does pick up product as welll!

When I first bought it I found it hard and didn't think it would work but my method of application works and its even better than bobbi brown concealer+corrector which is way too expensive to keep buying separately for me esp cos I use concealer under my eyes everyday and for scars.

Doesn't break me out, at least so far and I've very sensitive skin.

Great product!

There are tricks to using this product!!
The left (hard) side needs to be picked up with a stiff concealer brush, put on your blemish, then using your fingers pat, warm and blend. It is highly covering and great for pimples and scars.
The right side is easier to deal with - it is easy to spread for undereye circles, good to work with and doesn't crease too easily.
I am happy with this, once I worked out how to use it. The hard side is perhaps a little dark for my skin (I have UC-5 and I am NC35), so blending and setting with powder is important. Next time it goes on sale on Strawberrynet i may pick up UC-4 (if still available) to see if it suits me better.
I gave this 4 lippies because the application method makes it a slightly lengthier process to apply, not as easy as a touch up stick, for instance.
The key is to find the right way to make the product work - just remember, DON'T try to pick up the left side with your fingers....

Excellent concealer!
I use the slightly darker and creamier color as a concealer for undereye circles which works well because it doesn't emphasise fine lines and the coverage is sufficient. The lighter color is considerably drier and is therefore perfect for concealing pimples, dark spots and other imperfections. I take one lippie of for the price but I will repurchase if I can afford it.......

Bought this from StrawberryNET hence it being cheap and it is fabulous . Tone of the product is well suited to my skin colour . I mix the two sides to cover spots as one has a creamy consistency and the other is powder like . The creamy one goes fabulous under the eye . I love it !!

i bought it from my friends...very glad i got it for $15..i just tried it once...

the camouflage was nice..so hard in teksture..hide redness..but break me out..

i was so exciting about the concealer side..i heard so many great thing about it...it was nice..very smooth..a little goes a long way..but not so cover my hardcore undereye...

the worst thing is..the concealer side give me an alergic reaction...i got red spots under my eye..my skin wasn't that sensitif...my skin usualy break out..but not red-spot-alergic-reaction

too bad..i expect more from this...buy i have to let it go...

EDIT: i give more 2 lippies...i tried this again, with primer underneath..and i dont get any alergic reaction!and works great if i layer with other concealer..

Amazing product, perfect color for my under eye area. I got this in a set containing the Undercover pot w/ setting powder, foundation primer, tinted moisturizer, and 2 brushes from Sephora. I'm loving everything in there.

This is one of the best concealers I have ever used. And I tried many, drugstore and high-end.
It is:
-creamy
-quite long-lasting
-the package has a mirror so it is great for on the go
-it doesn't settle into my fine lines

I use it only for my very dark under-eye circles. The left side is a lot less creamy, I don't use it very often.

I have been using this HG for six years now and can't believe I still haven't written a review about it. It has been discontinued recently, but thank goodness the product replacing it is the same, except that it comes with translucent setting powder now. It is called Undercover Pot, and I will purchase it once I run out of my trusty, regular Undercover.

I use it in the lightest shade, Undercover - 1. The product is quite ingenious and incredibly versatile. Why? Because it incorporates two different concealers. On the left side, we have a light, hard concealer that is INCREDIBLY pigmented, and very similar to Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage (different, separatly sold product). On the right, there's a darker (in my case salmon coloured), creamy concealer, similar to Mercier's Secred Concealer (again, a different product).

First of all, and this is very inportant: You really have to be a little patient with this and figure out how to use it. I only learned how to use the darker side recently, because I was too scared it wouldn't suit my very fair skin. People seem to be scared and say: 'The fair side is too hard to be usable' or ' the creamy side is too dark'.

Now take note. The left side MUST be used on well moisturized skin, on top of foundation, or with a little of the creamy side. Furthermore, it really should be used with a firm brush, because it is that hard that your fingers will barely manage to pick it up. The best way for me personally to use it is with a no-name angled brush. The point of the brush allows for precise application, whereas the brush itself is great for blending. I have tons of scars and this highly-pigmented concealer, along with the precise brush is PERFECT to cover them.

The right, creamy side is (in my case) only used to banish undereye circles and to even out my upper lid. The salmon colour is way too dark to cover blemishes, the contrast between the concealer and my skin would be too great. But it is IDEAL to work on the eye area, which is a different tone to the rest of my face, anyway.

To sum it up, I love this product. I am very fair, and this is the only concealer that works for me. While drugstore concealers work for my undereye circles, I have yet to find a superior product to cover blemishes and scars. It also lasts ages, and doesn't go bad. My only quibble is with the packaging. The mechanism that snaps the compact shut has broken on every single one I used. But aside from that, it's HG, Baby!

i hate this concealer duo. the lighter concealer is SO dry its impossible to get enough out of the tin. chalky too. the under eye concealer side (the darker one) is creamy and nice, and it gives ok coverage, but there are better out there. i will absolutly not be repurchasing this

I unfortunately really disliked this product. I was so excited to try this dual set after hearing raves but it just didn't do it for me. I got the lightest shade for my NC15 skin but both sides were too dark. The eye concealer side was way too peachy for me despite having a really great creamy texture. The other side for spots and red marks was yellow-toned but a tad too dark for me. It was also insanely hard and I had to dig at it every morning to get just a dab out. Once I managed to get it on my face it didn't last all day and often got cakey. It didn't irritate my skin though during the year or so I used this, desperately searching for something better. Wish I liked this!

Undercover, along with Px Camouflage Cream, are the only concealers I use. I got this one about 3 years ago, and it comes in a little square compact, with two sections: one is a peachy creamy concealer for under eyes, and the other is a yellow, more dry concealer for blemishes and redness. I definitely use more of the yellow side, but I like the two options. They both cover nicely, don't settle into lines or wrinkles, and definitely don't cake. I apply both with my old BE concealer brush (one of the few BE brushes I like!), just lightly patting it on, and then blend with my Px foundation brush if needed or my fingertips for under eyes. This product is pricey, about $22 at Sephora, but it's lasted me 3 years...the only bummer is that I use more of the drier concealer than the undereye one, so I'm sure I'll run out of that side first. :( Overall, a really nice product and a repurchase for sure.

The BEST concealer I have tried. Highly recommended. The other positive reviews say it all. I find that using a lip brush gives a great result, providing precision and the ability to layer. To finish I apply Pur Minerals 4 in 1 all over my face.

best concealer ive tried so far, so of course theyre discontinuing this... well theyre making this into something similar to bobbi browns concealer with some loose powder at the bottom and jacking the price from an already high 22 to 34.. sigh. anyway, after trying this out i totally see what ive been doing wrong in the concealing department. a *do everything* concealer does not exist! this combination of textures (smooth and creamy for undereye and waxy/matte for blemishes) makes a big difference. the secret concealer is really soft without being mushy and super blendable. the peach color shows up naturally and has light reflecting particles to correct (but not COMPLETELY conceal) dark circles. the secret undercover side is hard and waxy and takes some getting used to.. its really hard to blend at first but thats the whole point since it wont slip off this way. however, id like to give this a 4.5 since the undereye part is not completely full coverage and the blemish side is so dry that it can accentuate flaky pimples.. but overall its well worth the price ... im pretty convinced ill buy the two separately in the future

Wonderful, as perfect as you can get, HG! On the right you have a creamy moisturizing under eye concealer, and on the left you have a very easy to apply concealer for face and blemishes. It always covers everything I need to cover...little pimples and dark circles. It is fast and convenient, because you have all the coverage you need, for all the parts of your face, in one place! It is a little pricey, but you get so much, so it is totally worth. Just remember to pat some setting powder on top though, to preserve the flawless look it can help achieve. Will definitely buy again!
