Beautiful high quality candles in very sophisticated scents - this is my favorite candle brand! And SHANGHAI is one of my fave scents - it's not sticky sweet like a lot of candle scents, more of a deep dark sophisticated aroma or ginger and spice. I have it in my bedroom - it's a sexy smell! the aroma fills the room only a few minutes after you've lit the candle. Also, you can usually get some scent from the Archipelago Candles just by having them in the room - they dont' even have to be lit! These are the best, and well worth the few extra dollars. Beauty First usually has a good selection!

Shanghai is a blend of ginger, cardamom and willow bark. I smell a lot of wood and some light spice--beautiful! Strong throw, and great glass lidded jar. Love these AB glass jar candles and must have more! $17 at xanadus.com.
