Very pigmented eye shadow. Shimmery, frosty and great for a color wash. However, I find that when I pack on the color on my lids it looks a bit silvery blue. Therefore I can only use this for light applications of color, such as a wash or light highlight.

I bought this before I knew about cool, neutral, warm skin tones. I saw it on a beauty blogger who is tan and warm-toned and I was like sweet I'm going to look hot like her. HAHA yeah right this definitely clashes with my fair, cool toned skin. It just does not work at all. It also pulls blue on me it reminds me of going to an '80s frat party or something. Anyways I gave it a 3 because the texture is SO amazing and the color is too, just not on me!

Colour: light grey frost. Very velvety smooth texture, and beyond blendable. I'm giving it one less lippy because it looked blue on my lids, and not the grey I wanted. I read other reviews where the same thing happened to other chicks, so it seems to be common. Anyway, I returned it to Mac and exchanged for something else.

I have had this eyeshadow for years, and I have never really used it very much... until now. I bought the dangerous cuvee paint pot, and I decided to put on this eye shadow on top of it, and it made the eyeshadow look soo nice!! I never realized but silver is kind of a glamorous look to pull off for every day, but when you want to put a pop of silver on your lids, this color is perfect!! Especially with Dangerous Cuvee PP under it!

Lovely silver eyeshadow. It works well all over the lid, with one of my other favourite MAC eyeshadows 'Sketch' in the crease.

Hands down my favourite grey/silver eyeshadow! I've been using Electra for over 9 years now, so it's a standing long-time favourite. This Mac frost shade has a beautiful shimmer and is versatile for both day and night wear. It's stunning in a smokey eye, or pretty enough to stand on its own. It goes well with lots of other shades - purples, greens, blues, pinks and so on. In terms of its longevity, it holds up well throughout the day, particularly over a primer, and resists creasing (and this coming from a girl with oily lids!). The product, itself, is impressively pigmented, buttery and easy to blend. A very little goes a long way. I am definitely going to continue keeping this is my kit, and am happy to recommend it. I feel like it's a bit under-valued - I've never seen it in any Top 10 Mac shadow lists, but it would definitely make mine!

This brings out the green in my hazel eyes. I love to wear it alone during the day, applied lightly just makes my eyes shine and look alive and bright. At night it can be applied with dark shadows for a smokey look (black, dark grey or navy look especially great). Love how versatile it is and the lovely smooth soft texture.

I have light blue green eyes and love silver shadows. Electra is a gorgeous shimmery silver and makes my eyecolor pop. It applies smooth and lasts long. I really love MAC shadows I think their the best.

I bought this eyeshadow a month ago, and have loved it ever since. I highly recommend it. It is super pigmented and stays on all day without fading, smudging, or creasing. It's fantastic! I wear this eyeshadow by itself every day, and it looks great. It really makes my eyelashes stand out. I've read many reviews where people say that it looks blue on them. I have noticed that it can give off a slight tint of blue depending on what color shirt I'm wearing. When I wear black or red shirts, the eyeshadow looks very silver. But when I wear white or blue shirts, the eyeshadow tends to have a slight blue tint to it. It's hardly noticeable though; I only noticed it because I was looking for it. Maybe it's just the lighting. I love it regardless.

This is my favorite silver eyeshadow, ever. Not only is it a beautiful color, it blends well, it goes on extremely smoothly and evenly, and it goes with pretty much any color eyeshadow- purples, pinks, greens, blues, blacks, greys, etc. Personally, I think it looks exceptional when used with a smoky eye.
I have never experienced this having a blue tint or looking blue on me, but everyone is different so if you're concerned about this having a blue tint when you want a pure silver eyeshadow definitely try it out before you buy it. If you already have it and it looks blue when you want silver, try a few different primers or bases before giving up.

This was my first MAC purchase and I regret not trying it on my eyes at the MAC counter. I thought it was a nice silver shade, but on me it looks really dark and takes on a blue, not silver appearance. It doesn't suit my PPP complexion and makes me look horrible.

I've given it 2 as it's really pigmented and I could see it being pretty on someone with darker colouring perhaps. I paid $32 Australian for this and wish I'd spent that money on a MAC shade that suits me :-(

Pretty frosted silver shadow, and although the color is nothing exceptionally unique, the texture is buttery and easy to apply/blend and the pigmention is strong. great for the inner corners of a smokey eye!

This is the most perfect, stunning, pigmented silver eyeshadow EVER. This shade is so beautiful and blendable that I usually I wear it by itself. One of the softer more buttery MAC shadows in my opinion. HG for sure <3.

Electra is a true silver color (on my skintone anyway) and I love how versatile it is. It blends easily and really well with other colors. Plus, it matches everything - I usually use some purple in the crease. Or Carbon for a nighttime look. Or even Brun to be less conventional. Super versatile and something I'll get a lot of use out of. It's a winner in my standards.

When I bought Electra, I was looking for a frosty, true-silver color. It appears so in the pan and when I swatched it in the bad lighting of the MAC shop, I loved it. When I got home and applied it, however, Electra turned out to be a frosty steel blue color. At least on me, this color does not look silver at all, but is overwhelmingly blue and not what I was going for when I bought it.

This shadow also creases something awful no matter what base I put under it. It makes me look exhausted and weird if I try to wear this all over on my lids, so about the only use I've been able to get out of Electra is as a high-lighter on my inner corner and it's not even great for that. All in all, this is one of those MAC shades I regret buying, but I do think that on someone with darker skin, this color might work better.

This is a true, true silver. Its a very nice shade but does look more blueish on me, which is not a great thing. However, that can often be the case with true silver shadows.

Personally, I prefer Silver Ring, which is a gorgeous silver grey, with no blue tint whatsoever. Far more flattering and pretty.

I use this eyeshadow to do smokey eyes.
I ALWAYS get compliments. I was at school and a random girl was all 'ooooOoo I like her eyes' as she walked by.
I always use this eyeshadow when my friends want me to do their eyeshadow like mine and they say they love it.
With some of my black eyeshadows it does look blue'ish..you just have to find the one that doesnt make it loook blue or try a different base but its still really pretty and ahh. I love this eyeshadow.<3 I would recommend this everyone who wants a really pretty silver.:)

Not impressed with this color because I find it's not really a true silver...for some reason it turns a bluish tone on my eyes...eh...wouldn't buy it again.

I'm obsessed with this eyeshadow! I've been using it almost everyday since I bought it. It's perfect for a light, day time smokey eye, but also for darker night time smokey eyes! The color is a bright silver that goes on so smoothly. I believe it is a Frost. If you are a smokey eye gal like myself, I would definitely recommend this eyeshadow. It's the most beautiful silver/grey eyeshadow I've ever used. I will repurchase this for sure!
