I really like this product, I wanted a highlighter to add a little glow just to give me that fresh faced look. I have oily/acne prone skin and was worried that it would make me look shiny or break me out which it doesn't. It gives me that fresh glow not shiny at all. I apply my bronzing powder, blusher and then this highlighter to the top of my cheeks only. I purchased it from QVC when they had it for sale with a free face blender brush, which I use to apply it. You really don't use that much so I imagine it will last me about 2 years. Good investment.

Before I write what I like and what I don't like about this product let me tell you. I LOVE this product period !!! I would say, its a must have for all the girls out there. Definitely one of the products you must own in your makeup bag. It not just gives you an instant glow on your face but its also good for application on your entire face like a compact powder if you want to add a bit shine to your face. I know it might sound weird for some but trust me it works wonders !! It gives you a natural glow. Plus not to forget its also great as a blush and a highlighter. I have used the MAC minirelize skin finish as a highlighter as well but I find it to be a tad too whitish. The best thing about this is that its biddable, so if you want to have a heavy look just rub in a bit more. I use it as an eye shadow to complete the look. I somehow find other highlighters to be a bit too pigmented or either its too yellow.gold or a but too brown for me. I have a weatish complexion so for me this ones great. Not too pink not too brown not too bright not to white :) I love the packaging from Bobby Brown its sleek and fits easily into your handbag to carry around. The only catch is that, its a bit too expensive, but come on its a Bobby Brown and its a product thats gonna last you for almost your entire life (not literally!!) so its definitely value for money. I would definitely purchase it and would recommend this product to all.

So I finally gave in and got one of these bad boys. I have highlighters but these always appealed to me. I love the look of them baked in different colours that when swirled together give you a very pretty highlight indeed. I used it with my NYX Dusty Rose blush as all my NARS have some sort of shimmer so I didn't want to be overly shimmery. So I have 2 NYX and a MAC so anyway I went with the Dusty Rose and bam simpatico! The shimmer brick to me is not too shimmery and it doesn't make my pores look big or anything. It just makes my cheeks look better. I also use it as an eyeshadow but as others said use primer. I have green eyes and fair skin and it doesn't look to pink on me at all.
I first apply my blush with the RT blush brush then I use a Skinn brush I have which is for blush but I prefer it for highlighting. I swirl and then apply either on the brow bone up towards my temple and that is great for day. At night I'll use more on my cheeks or a touch on my nose. I said I would repurchase because I would get the other colours. The formula is so soft and it lasts and looks good. I was and am super happy with it when I wear it. Def recommended!

Beautiful shades, but the application is too dry for dry skin. It highlights fine lines, and a bit too shimmery which doesn't look natural on skin. The packaging is too large, which is not travel friendly, and the application is a bit messy (I always end up with some shimmer left in my makeup bag). The powder cracked eventually and made a big mess, so I had to throw every thing out. Would definitely not purchase this product again. I will stick with cream highlighters or Luminizer, shimmery highlighters just never look natural in the real life.
Update: I bought the TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer and it's so much more natural and beautiful, it has no negative things that I found from the shimmer brick in this product. If you are looking for a good quality highlighter without any harsh chemicals, Mary-Lou Manizer is the one.

Really great highlighter that doesn't interfere with pink blush color. I usually use gold highlighters, but sometimes they take away from my doll cheeks when I wear light pink blush.
Honestly, this is the same formula as physician's formulas but they don't have a range of colors. I bought this because the rose is a natural color that's not too light or dark. If a cheaper company makes this color, I won't repurchase. But for now it's worth the extra tag to have a good highlighter specifically made to match pink blushes. It's a great eye shadow, too!
Great for cool undertones, and my nw35 skin tone.

Due to the shimmer in this blush I only use it at night time. It does give a beautiful flush though and it's very pink and pretty and natural. The colour is buildable so you can go light or pigmented. Defintely one I would repurchase.

I use this lightly everyday as a bush (on special occasions i mix it with normal blush and use it more as a highlighter. THis is amazing it makes u look awake and is a really pretty colour. It gives me enough colour without being OTT and hiights my cheek bones. I am very conscious of my skin looking greasy because i get a lot of breakouts but this doesn't look greasy. I also use this as a shadow sometimes but I'm warning you, use primer. If u don't this just concentrates in the creases in your eyes. I love this and would definitely buy it again, it is a bit of an investment but it lasts for so long and is really worth it because it looks gorgeous.

After ignoring the shimmer bricks for years, I got turned on to them after enjoying the new LE Rose Gold and Wild Rose shimmer bricks so much. After loving those, I just had to get the Rose. It is definitely more cool and highlighterish than the new Wild Rose, but I really like it on my particular skin tone (NW10 for reference). It is gorgeous applied as a stand alone blush to the apples of my cheeks. When I use another product to contour my cheekbones, and then use this on the apples of my cheeks. Very pretty, unique product, and the lightest strip particularly makes a great highlighter. Like all the shimmer bricks, the consistency is super soft and blendable. I also love that BB is cruelty to free. I look forward to trying whatever new shimmer bricks might roll out this summer.

Packaging is cute.
This is...well...metallic .
I use it with a Mac 187 with a light hand and just lightly dab on the apples on my cheeks (avoiding the white stripe) and blend with 187.
I can't see this working on gals with mature skin or large pores.

Really wanted to like this but it was a bit too glittery for me up for swap it goes. A waste of £31.00.
I would perhaps buy again but in a different shade.

I love this cult fave! It looks great as a highlighter over BB Peony blush for a dewy, youthful, rosy glow. I have to use a light hand so that it is not too shimmery though and blend really well. A ,little goes a long way and the packaging is elegant and perfect for travel.

i love this! it took me ages to decide whether to get this or not because of the price! 30.50 GPB is a lot for a blusher. But did you know, Bobbi Brown said, this can be doubled as a eyeshadow;) but because im asain, pink eyeshadows doesnt suit me! so i keep it simple as a blush, and i like how theres a highlight powder! the colour is so natural when applied on your cheeks! it is for EVERYONE, and i mean it. i love it. and i like how it comes with a little brush! i would purcase this again if it ever runs out! i've never ran out of anything but foundation! huge thumbs up for this, worth the splurge!

OMG I love this product, in the shade Rose is my favorite. I am fair, about NC15 ish. Therefor, this is a blush for me. I asked a friend today if she could notice a lot of shimmer on my cheeks and she could not, not even in sunlight. I think the trick is to stay away from the white strip on the top of this pallet. It comes off as the most natural gorgeous go with everything shade. This would be great for everyone. I do think it would accent large pores if that is a major concern to you, but only very large pores. Mine are normal, not tiny but not large, and I love this shimmer brick. I will repurchase when it runs out... which could be FOREVER because I have already owned it for about a year and a half! LOVE!

I've been using this for years as a blush. Great colors to brighten up my very fair skin. Since I don't use everyday, it has lasted a long time and I haven't had to purchase another one. Definitely on the pricey side, but fun for those that like pink shimmery blushes like me.

This was my first product from Bobbi Brown. I remember spending a whole lot of my paycheck for this (haha). It gives a lovely, really shimmery glow on my skin. However, I find that it's too shimmery for my taste, even for a highlighter. I'd like something more subtle.

Let's look at the Packaging:
It's packaged in a sturdy, commonly high-end case with a mirror and the brick much like a mineralized skinfinish, but baked in strips. The Body Shop has a very similar product as well, I think it's called shimmer strips. The best way to use this is to take a fluffy white haired brush, just like the MAC 168 because it's easier buffed onto the cheeks rather than patted on with say a smaller blush brush.
Mine is in Rose. It's a burnt pink with cool undertones so watch out if you have a yellow undertone. I know, I know, I'm yellow, but I thought pink blushes do look good on me, I'll save the undertone complaints until later.
So How Do You Work it?
1.) Simple. Here's me with bare cheeks, i even skipped the bronzer:
2.) Swirl your brush into the brick so that it collects all the colors of the gradient. Then, use the brush and buff first into the apples of your cheek, working upwards to the tip of your ear, not touching the tip of your ear but buffing towards that direction.
3.) The effect produced is a much more prominent cheek apple and sweep of pink that's subtle and not too over the top.
What do I think of it?
I want to love it, but it's probably not the first blush I'll grab for because it's hot and sweaty in Singapore and I'm pretty sure that I'll get the same glow if I wait out in the humidity a bit. That's because I have combination oily skin. However, I think it adds a beautiful glow to the cheeks, and probably great in dry countries or when you just need that little sparkle. This one in particular is much too cool toned for me, and probably a warmer shimmer brick like 'Nectar' would have suited me better. I can't really use this primarily as a highlighter because its pink and I don't really like having a red bridge, but a sweep on the cheekbones, with another blush below might be a good suggestion. I know that if this whole thing was the white, it would for shizzle receive a 5/5 from me, but as a blush it just doesn't seem natural sometimes. Nonetheless, its still beautiful, it's hard to explain my opinion and from me, I'd give it a 4.5/5 because the highlight is sometimes too over the top for me.
Overall - this is an expensive product and you can get the same sub at The Body Shop. However, if you're into Bobbi Brown and her products - go for it -but don't, if you have oily skin.

This was the firts shimmerbrick i bought. But i was way too frosty pink for my coloring (nc40 bobbi brown 4.5 or 5). I gave it to my sister , she is fairer skin. I'd recommend it for paler complextions.

I love this shimmer block from Bobbi Brown. I have some small pores and was concerned with this once applied. My pore size is not noticeable. I am in my early 30s and feel like this looks good for a highlighter and a blush. I have light to medium skin tone and this compliments perfectly. I can wear this with or without blush and wear this over my bronzer powder. Very classy. I would be careful if you have noticeable pores and would want to apply this highlighter over them, as it would draw attention to them.

Don't let the listing fool you, this is a blush and not a highlighter. I am addicted to blush, you name it and I've probably owned it at one time or another. Since finding this I will never buy any other blush again, this is all I need. It's the perfect flushed rosey color and the shimmer doesn't exaggerate my pores or fine lines.

This product is lovely. Wearable as a blush for someone fair, but for my medium skintone with prominent surface ruddiness, I need more depth of color. Wears as a soft powdery-pink, slightly pinkier than my Platinum pink. If you're medium on up, I'd rec. this as a soft *very light* pink highlighter, any skintone lighter and I'd say wear it as a blush. This is extremely subtle, provided you don't over do it. My fiancee who really doesn't like a shimmer on me actually prefers this over LM's Shimmer Bloc's. I am told I look greasy when I wear that whereas with this it's shimmery. Either way, at the end of the day this is what gets used more and more compliments. C'est la vie. I don't get the negative feel of this over the strong praise of LM and Dior. I found the others so finely milled that it was more difficult to control the frosty effect. Compared with the Becca PSP's which are powdery-sheen and very subtle, this offers more of a highlight/shimmer as opposed to a shimmery powdered effect. The shimmer on these seems more sparsely dispersed in comparison with my LM, Becca and Dior--thus a less overall cheek of sheen. I hadn't noticed that much of a difference in texture, but this stands out as extremely finely milled, moreso than other SB's, less powdery than LM and Dior.
