Too bad it is so expensive and hard to find in the stores, this is my favorite winter fragrance ever! It blends beautifully the citrus top notes with a more intense, woody and floral body, so it lasts but does not feel heavy at first. It is better for the cold weather because as you will be wearing more layers of clothes, it would spread and become more discreet but still remain present. For the hot weather it is not so recommendable as it tends to become too intense and almost intoxicating (in a good way). I try to spare as much as I can the bottle I have, but in an ideal world I would wear this fragrance every single day from October to March.

The marketing spiel:

'Lemon, ginger, bergamot and grapefruit on the top notes; and the floral scent of violet leaves, rose, lotus flower and lily of the valley are traced in the middle notes. The bottom notes are woody and warm with bourbon vanilla, musk and woody notes.'

This is a fresh, feminine floral. I get a bright, melon note upon first spray, with a soft vanilla/violet dry down. I don't tend to go for florals, but the vanilla and musk tone it down a bit, and it is what I tend to reach for on crisp spring mornings.

Beautiful bottle - frosted red glass with a gold cap. Not the most amazing fragrance, but a very beautiful and distintive floral and worth trying.
