I have these in Pastel 8 stack and the original 8 stack (both now up for swaps). These are great quality, they have a really pretty sparkle, shimmer. Only pain is they are messy, I get powder everywhere!! I think they could maybe change the way they are packaged. I now only really use neutral colors so thats why these are up for swaps! Overall they are a great product and I recommend them.

Whoa, last week I was whining to myself about how it ridiculously hard to find a really nice shimmery lotion to use on my legs and shoulders during summer, and I dug deep into my makeup kit find these lost high school relics! About ten years ago, two friends and I went in on a 12-stack. Do they even have those anymore? Anyway, I've had my 4 little colors and used them sparingly since then, so you'd hardly know they were used at all. I had a tub of body butter that was about 4/5 used up, so for experiment's sake, I dumped in my white/silvery powder and mixed well. Probably used too much sparkle for the shimmer to lotion ratio, but it worked beautifully! It's such fine glitter that the sparkle is only noticeable in the sun, and it does wonders for evening out the look of my lotion-tanned legs. Plus the lotion itself is much nicer than I can find in the premade shimmer lotion department, so my legs feel soft and not tight. Too bad the other colors I have left wouldn't really work, although I will give the peach one a try. I wouldn't repurchase these due to the expense--I'll probably try mixing my own lotion with EM's light pink or something. Fun nonetheless.

I love this product!! I own 24 8-stacks and I love them all!! They are just gorgeous, my fave 8-stack is westside. I love the fact that the hue-3 powders have multidimenstional colors. They are just so pretty and sparkly, I cannot rave enough!!! I also love, love, love their cream to powder eyeshadow base......it's absolutely wonderful stuff!!! I cannot rave enough about this product!!

I cannot rave enough about True Colors. They last all day, the colors are rich and amazing, and they are super cheap! If you want to use a color for a dramatic color dip your brush in water a teeny bit and then apply and it goes on gorgeous. Or if you want a more sheer look apply dry and a little goes a looong way. Definitely recommend this makeup!

I love true colors. I own 7 of the eight stacks. The colors are truely amazing. They are very versatile...going all the way from very natural to Way over the top! The Racy Pinks stack is my all time favorite. You must use a good creme or concealer base though. Without it there will be a lot of fall out. They work great with my TransFix Eyeliner Sealer by Senna Cosmetics. They last very well all day as long as you are using a good base. My personal favorites are Decrease by L'Oreal and Senna Cosmetics Wipe Out Spot Stick. I love to use them as blushes. The glitter stack is superb. Product lasts a long time, just be careful not to spill!! If only this company would invest in some better packaging.

I lovelovelove these. I saw them in the mall, and they were WAY out of my budget at the time, so I went to good old eBay! I found a dealer near my house and I had a private showing and WOW I totally fell in love with the colors and versatility. I bought two stacks. They're totally amazing, but the ONLY complaint I have with True Colors is staying power. After about 30min-1hr, most of it falls off onto my cheeks! So I use UD's primer potion and everything's wonderful. I don't even mind the packaging!

After two hours, I noticed creasing. The colors were very faint as well so I had to layer on the pigment. I do agree with the other reviews in saying that this product has crappy packaging.

I discovered this product through my cousin. Once I bought my first stack of colors I was hooked! Then I drove back (1 1/2 hours away) to buy 2 more stacks. I just love the shimmery effects and the different uses of it. Everytime I show my friends my True Color make-up they end up driving all the way back where I got it to buy some for themselves! The only downfall is you have to be careful with it because if you tip it over, it will spill and you will have none left. Even with that, I still want to buy the whole set of colors but I don't have $700 dollars, but believe if I did, I would buy them all!! LOVE them.

Like others, I had this waaaay back in highschool (almost nine years ago!), I didn't like it much then, and don't really care for it now. The pros are that there are a variety of colors to chose from, and the stackable feature is convenient. The cons, the sqaure shape only adds to the mess of trying to take off the lids---it's next to impossible to open these darn things without creating a mess. These pigments tend to crease quite easily (on me) and the colors tend to change shades an hour or so after application.
While I wouldn't use these myself anymore, I did get a 7-stack for my cousin who is in dance. She and her friends are able to use it in various ways (eyeshadow, nailpolish, hair shimmer etc), and the colors always compliment their costumes, whether it's for jazz, tap, or hip hop.

Was a little dissapointed with TC, Not only is it a total mess to apply, but the color intensity only last a short time as the day goes on the shimmer in them dissapear, and for the price its not worth it. Word of warning, dont sneezed while you are applying or else you will be in a cloud of fairy dust!!

I got this as a gift in high school when it was the "in" thing lol. (about 7 years ago!!) EVeryone girl i knew had this in their makeup stash mainly because there are sooo many uses to it. You can use it as a lip color, blush, body shimmer, eyeshadow, nail polish... basically anything. This stuff is awesome!!!! It gives such a nice shimmery/sparkly look to your eyes! I get compliments everytime i use it, so does all my friends...It last for a very long time. It looks great on everyone. I found it best applied with your finger or the sponge applicators... NOT with an eyeshadow brush. You get the most pigment out of it when used with those two methods, and then dab it onto the areas wanted. The asking price at the mall stands are pretty expensive.. but it is VERY easy to bargain.. my friends use to get two 8 stacks w/ the lipbase for $50... you just have to sound like you don't want it as much... LOL! It last forever i still have my 5 stack from back then and i still use it. The only thing i don't like is the packaging as stated from everyone else below. It was great when the shape of the stack was circular..people didn't have problems with it... but once they changed it to the square shape it was HORRIBLE... it spilled everywhere... So i have black electrical tape bound to the stack to hold it in place..looks tacky but it keeps it from spilling.. i would buy more of it but my sister has practically all the colors. It's a fun product

The powders themselves are nice, and are very pretty. HOWEVER, it seems like this company purposely wants you to spill all of it, because the packaging is TERRIBLE. The powders got everywhere in shipping, and each time you open part of the stack, you loose a ton of powder. Very poor design & wouldn't buy again because of it. They are too expensive just to be spilling everywhere.

I had these in the Earth color set that came in what looks like a painters pallete! I bought this when I was still in High School about 4 yrs ago and I always got compliments when I wore them. Sadly, my clumsy butt was cleaning off my dresser and dumped it onto the floor spilling out just about everything except the green color and a dark burgandy which I never really wore! Now, I have one container of grayish brown sparkle dust that I managed to salvage:( I really miss my pallete! Thus, the only reason I give these 4 lippies instead of 5 is because they spill super easy if you are a clutz like me!

I hate to tell you this but the product that they sell at sally beauty supply is not Estey True Colors, and there is a big difference! True Colors are awesome for girls who like to get creative. When I had some ( I got them in L.A. before they really made "the scene") I liked to use a little with water as eyeliner. The pigments do a lot to brighten up the eyes. Once when I was out at night I had some blue on as eyeliner. Someone who saw me later said, " huh, I coulda sworn when I met you, you had blue eyes" !! That would be striking since I have almost black hair and fair skin, too bad it isn't so, lol

I have a ton of these. I ordered a huge set that included about 4 stacks of powders and a couple of lipstacks. I must say that these are generally the only powders I use. I use them only for eyeshadow, sometimes nail polish. I get tons of compliments on them, especially when I wear the purple shades. I absolutely love these. They are a bit pricey, but they last forever. I've had mine for almost 3 years and they're still going strong. The only bad thing about them is the fact that they can spill very easily.

I bought about 10 colors a few years ago and I still have them. They last forever! A tiny bit goes a loooong way. I only use them for eyeshadow though. The packaging could use some work though. Half the time I end up spilling some because the container is so small. If I ever run out I will buy again.

I love these. They are probably the most versatile shimmer powders I've ever used; you can get creative and literally use them anywhere for anything, and they look great. The price to pay is a small one for the versatility and perfect shimmer you get with these. I stock up with them at Sally Beauty Supply -- I probably have every color. And I, for one, really like how they're packaged in little pots. Very convenient and doesn't take up tons of storage space. Great stuff!

I love the versatility of this product. Highly pigmented and goes on smooth, but the packaging was done very poorly and VERY messy.
