this is HG blusher. My 1st Clinique blush (in GWP) and it is HG for me! Prior to this, used to toggle between Prescriptives and Covergirl's Cheekers. The former was discontinued, and while CG Cheekers is cheap and it lasts, the microshimmer is not very attractive for daywear imo. That's why "New Clover" is perfect - No shimmer, and beautfiul. Period. I lightly dab a finger in water and add a tiny bit (water) to the compact (color), smear on my cheek and rub in lightly - It applies evenly and the wear time is LONG. Color is natural, what I have been searching for. Perfect product all-around

I buy this blush mainly for the brush! I love Clinique brushes and especially love the ones they put in the blush compacts. They work perfectly and I never have found one for applying blush that I like better than the one that comes with this. The color on this one is nice too; a classic.

I lovelovelovelovelovelove this blush! The texture is really nice (its a pressed powder but its almost creamy), and the color, OH MY GOD, the color is gorgeous. My friend gave me this because she already had one. I was not expecting much, however when I tried it, the blush gave that perfect rosy glow to my cheeks that every girl wants. My skin is very pale, and my cheekbones are practically nonexistent, so there is like no dimention to my face. The neutral pink color sculpts my face and bring some natural color too it. It is the perfect pigmentation for a blush, and it applied very smoothly. :) I highly recommend it.

Looking at the product in the pan, I thought this would be a beautiful color for my fair, cool skin. There is very little shimmer to it; it's a light berry color. I received it as a free sample, gift with purchase.
However, no matter how much I try to pack on my brush, it just does not show up on me; it looks as if I have no blush on at all. It is very sheer. I don't know if it's just this color or the formula, but it's a fail for me. Because of that, I don't want to spend $20 on a Clinique blush.

I have recently been loving this blush! Yes its a little it difficult to get out of the compact but a good kabuki will give just the right amount! Its blends beautifully into my yellow undertoned skin and flushes me out in a beautiful way! I got this with a purchase but definitely would repurchase if I wanted to! It goes on matte even thought if you stare real hard there's a shimmer or two in the blush, no worries! Cant see it.
Beautiful beautiful mauve pink! Dont hesitate to buy, very versatile and suits my tan skin! Would def repurchase.

Got this as part of a GWP, but I'm not loving it. Thought I could get away with using this as my everyday blush, but no way. Maybe it's my skin tone, maybe it's the brush, or maybe this freebie is less pigmented than the regular stuff (no way, right?), but this hardly shows up on my cheeks, even after I layer it on like crazy. Won't be buying full size, that's for sure.

New Clover blush is a salmon pink on my cool-toned fair skin. and very unflattering. The blush consistency is poor. It is hard to get an even layer of blush onto the skin. I much prefer Estee Lauder Tender blushes or Flirt cosmetics blushes to this.

I received this as a GWP quite some time ago. The packaging is beautiful (white background with a pink floral design) but unfortunately, that's the only thing I like about this blush.
The product is hard and dry and it's difficult to pick up the product with a brush or my fingers. The pigmentation is poor, I tried swatching this on my hand and nothing showed up! This deposits no color on my cheeks at all. I'm glad I only received this as a sample, I would never buy it full sized.

UPDATE: WOULD NOT CONSIDER DUE TO ANIMAL TESTING FOR CHINESE MARKET 17/02/2012 Just like a previous reviewer wrote, hard and dry it is difficult to transfer to the brush. Got it with a GWP. Beautiful color that would be perfect for me if only I could apply it. It barely shows on my skin. Maybe the formula of the full size is different but based on this sample I would not purshase it.

I got this in a GWP ... but all of a sudden I'm obsessed with it. I kind of put it off to the side in favor of some of the other blushes I'd been trying out - Physician's Formula, Milani, etc - but I just happened to try this on this morning and I've fallen in love. I am super fair, cool/neutral, and this is a pretty, dusty pink on me. Even though I love a little shimmer in my blush, I also love that this doesn't have any - it makes it a nice departure from what I usually wear. It stays on forever and, true to Clinique, doesn't break me out or smell weird or anything. I'd definitely repurchase!

This is one of my HG blushes. I love the blushes that Clinique makes, and this is one color that I continually use. I find it looks natural, yet noticeable enough to give me a nice flush. It isn't too bright of a pink, and it doesn't contain shimmer. Looks great against my fair skin. It is also easy to apply. I've used other cheaper blushes before, such as Covergirl's, and all though it looked nice, I would have to load my brush up with product just to get it to show. Not with this :) I love this color and will definitely buy again once I run out!

I enjoy this blush a lot! I have fair skin and the colour is great! As long as I dont put too much on it looks really good! And what I enjoy about the darker shade is that it gives me a faster result of the "blushed" looked on my face. No need to over-do all the layers. I've used it a couple of times and from what I can tell it stays on nicely and goes on smooth. The bonus on top of it all is that the packaging is simply adorable with the flowers on the front! Its also very convenient with the mirror inside and the blush palet being round, its nicer for my blush brush to dig into with its round shape. I haven't found 1 problem with this blush, I love it. :)

Pros:
- moderately pigmented (not sheer like clinique claims)
- pretty neutral could be universally flattering
- soft, silky texture
- stays on the skin
Cons:
- none, other than preference for colour shade
This blush can look very pink, it is a little bit dark for fairer skin tones - but I think if it's applied lightly it can look great on fair skins. I like it although I find it's a little bit too natural, like I'm actually blushing, drunk or sunburnt.

I bought the Strawberry Fudge Christmas LE compact that includes New Clover blush, strawberry fudge e/s duo plus a darker eyeshadow.
The color pay off for New Clover blush is a good neutral pink color that shows up on my skin in a very natural way. I like that it has no shimmer.

Great color for me! It looks a tad purple but when you put it on it isn't. I apply it with a clinique blush brush then blend a little with my fingers. It gives a pretty glow to my face and I wear it almost everyday.

Got this one in a GWP. It is a nice color but this line of blushes from Clinique seems to really harden and dry up so that the color does not transfer to the brush. I have had this happen with the full size also in a different color, mocha pink. With my SK flat blush brush, I can, however, get these blushes to show up. Another issue I had with the New Clover shade was redness and itching. When I read the list of ingredients, I noticed that bismuth oxychloride is one of the ingredients, I know this causes similar problems in Bare Escentuals MMU. The newer blushes by Clinique in the silver cases, apply easier.

This is not horrible, however, it goes red on my skin. Compared to Cupid, this is more red, where the Cupid goes more orange. I found MAC Pinch o Peach is the color I was hoping this would be - if you want something similar to this, but don't like the formula or the color is a bit red, you should try it.

I hated this color!!!!! This is one of my all time least favorite blush colors. The SA at Clinique in Macy's was helping me pick up a foundation and blush. I was eyeing the tawny & honey colored blushes because I tend to perfer the peachy hues. But she insisted I get the new clover because it would show up better on my skin tone. I hesitated because I generally don't like mauve tones. But, gave in and bought it. I think it was too dark on my light/medium skin. It looked like purple matte streaks on my cheeks. But, she was the nicest SA ever! We stood there talking for awhile and she was so nice!!! With the foundation, she hit my skin color dead on but I didn't care for the consistancy of it (Almost Powder) it looked way too cakey and dull.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! This is THE BEST blush I have EVER used. While I really like Cupid and Iced Lotus, New Clover is the most natural and pretty color I have used from Clinique. It's not too light, not too dark, just right. I only need a few swipes and I look fresh and rested. I find this blush goes really great with Bamboo Pink lipstick. As soon as I run out, I'm buying more!
