I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It was gift. I have nothing else in my arsenal from Estee Lauder and never think of this brand at all. What was exceptional about it is that the colors are very prettily neutral and smoky, the pigment is much better than I expected, and the shadow applies very smoothly and blends well. Most importantly, the color is not flat on the skin but has a nice appropriate sheen to it, something I was not expecting. I could very well compare these favorably to Stila e/s. Would recommend.

I loved the brown (the perfect brown!) in this eyeshadow set but it is harder to get at as it is surrounded by the lighter colour. I agree that the brown shadow isn't very pigmented and I think for next time I will choose a colour like stila java which may be better. The lighter colour is nice enough but it doesn't show up very well as it is close to my skintone. I suppose it is just meant to be a base shadow.

I really like the packaging for this product, but its not worth me buying again - not because I didn't like it - but because I can buy something very similar that's 1/2 the price. I also didn't like the fact that the brown colour almost seemed to have a 'taupy' finish which I thought was odd - if it was a bit cheaper - I would repurchase, but for now, I'll stick to something else.

This eyeshadow duo is definitely my new favourite. I do have small deep set very dark brown eyes and I need something to accentuate them. Before purchasing this item, I was very skeptical because I read the previous review (which is the only one available). I am surprise at how much I like this eyeshadow. I love using different colours of blush - peach, pink, and brown. However, I really don't want to keep matching the different eyeshadows with the blushes/wardrobes and I put on my makeup at work so I can't be carrying my whole stash with me.
With this eyeshadow though, my eyes are now so expressive without too much colour on my lids. This eyeshadow really defines the word 'eyeshadow', it just give you shadow and depth for your eyes. The duo consists of shimmering champange / shimmering dark brown. The combination is very classy and well put together. As the previous reviewer has said that the brown is not very pigmented, once blended it becomes smokey and not as intense as it looks in the pan. The champange colour is so delicate and it really opens up my eyes. The shimmer is very fine and the effect is elegant.(unlike many MAC frosted eyeshadows with hugh glitters in them.)
This is just what I need! It's so versatile as it goes with every colours of the blush I own. I have been using it everyday now and never have to worry that it may not go well with any wardrobe. The package is gorgeous and described by the previous reviewer so I will not repeat. I was not a fan of EL eyeshadows but I definitely recommend Saturn to every ladies who would like an everyday and versatile eyeshadow.
