I love this stuff. I get static-y hair in the winter even though I use a rich conditioner. A tiny amount of this spread on my hands and run over my hair gets rid of static and a bit in my bangs helps keep them from going flat and stringy as the day goes on. My hair is very fine and oily, but if I use a very little of this it doesn`t get weighed down or look greasy. I really love it!

This is the only product I've used that can REALLY bring out the natural wave in my hair. At night after I shower, I just use about a quarter sized amount and scrunch my hair. When I wake up, BAM, my hair is wavier than ever. It also does a great job of taming frizz and locking in volume and curl. Great product, I'll always have one of these on stock.

I mainly use this paste for a couple of things. First being, as the name indicated, to help achieve a tousled beach wave effect. A little bit of product can go a long way. I also use just a smidgen to control unruly part of bangs or shorter baby hairs on bad days. This white paste has the usual Garnier fruity smell and it really does linger on my hair, not that I mind.

So, I was tired of taking an hour and a half to get ready every morning, but it's hard to take my showers at night because I suffer from thin, flat hair. However, when I use a small amount of this on the roots of my hair, it gives just the right amount of texture and volume. Technically, I didn't use this product for what it was intended for, I guess, but I was very pleased with it.

Great DS product for creating a textured, piecey look. Formula is smooth and less thick than other texturizing creams/waxes I've used from HE brands. Feels very light weight and non-greasy. I use a very small amount (pea-sized) and spread it onto both hands, focusing around the fingers. I spread my fingers and quickly run them back and forth through my hair horizontally, not vertically so as to avoid a greasy result. Gives just enough texture and hold for my hair. Also smoothes fly-aways in the front nicely!

I loved this stuff! I have side bangs and would use the tiniest smidge and apply it to my hair (caution- too much will make it greasy!) and then use a barrel brush & blow drier to give it that curve, and apply a little hairspray and wow! it would stay in place all day and look perfect! Also, I have extremely long hair, down to my butt, so I would take a shower at night, and french braid my hair and sleep on it, and in the morning my hair would be a little damp when I took it out. I would use this (once again, tiny amount! too much will dull it and weigh it down) and just scrunch my hair with it. It was kind of addicting to use, lol I'd look foreward to waking up and doing my hair! Anyways, this was the only way I could EVER get the wavy almost curly beached look, even though I have natural beach hair lol. This was almost the perfect product, however on days if I used too much my hair would look dull and feel/look gross. You really have to be careful with this stuff!

At first I hated this product. My hair used to be completely curly as a teen but as I got older due to all the damage i've done to my hair (dying, bleaching, heat) my hair has gone completely flat. If you have tangled hair I'd recommend you stray away from this product, also it should be only be used after you take a shower on damp hair, if used on dry it can make it completely sticky and gross. Irregardless, it brings back my natural curls and makes it look effortlessly beachy. Love it!

I have REALLY long hair, like down to my hips long, and this stuff does wonders that others wouldn't. It says to use it with damp hair, and only a dime amount, but for my length/thickness of hair I put in 3 "dimes" while its irrefutably damp. I tilt my head side to side when I apply, or upside down, make sure all my layers get a little. Then once its dry I put it 2 more "dimes" and scrunch up my top and medium layers of hair. Then I just head bang and it looks perfect. I don't know how many others have hair this long and going for the messy look, but this review is for you.

UPDATE:
I like the effect of this stuff too much so I started using again- cautiously!
Maybe I was applying too much, so just make sure to not put on too much!
UPDATE:
OMG this stuff tangles my hair out like nothing ive ever used before!
It makes my ends all ratty and even when i shower the tangliness is
still there. it builds up in my hair like crazy...LAME :(
this stuff is AWESOMEEEEEE
I had been wanting to try a product that added some volume
and texture to my hair. I saw this on the store shelf and figured,
hey what the heck!
I have long hair so I was worried this wouldn't work, but I was very wrong!
I use a dime size amount and emulsify and simply rub it through my layers.
This stuff gives my hair awesome movement and really enhances my waves.
The only thing is that you really got to wash your hair well to get out
the waxiness....butttttt this is pure magic in a jar- and its cheap! :D

Not for me! I have fine hair strands, but thick hair. It's naturally straight and moderately short. I was hoping for something to add a little texture to my hair for those mornings when I just don't feel like shampooing. Instead, it made my hair limp and greasy. I was very careful not to put much on. They give you a ton of this stuff for the price, but I'll stick to other hair products.

Ive been looking for a product that will tame my frizzy hair without it being too waxy or making my hair hard. This product does the trick ! I use it on damp hair and jst rub it in my hands and apply all over the hair by running my fingers through them. I sometimes add a LITTLE mousse on top of the surf hair but not all the time. This is a realy good product if you want natural 'beach hair'

Dude. This stuff is amazing! Do you know who Nevershoutnever Is? Well, I have my hair cut like his and i use this to get his fluffy texture.
I blow dry my hair with Paul Mitchell ExtraBody Root Lifter, Big Sexy Hair Dense, and Paul Mitchell ExtraBody Gel. Then I straighten it and use Wild Harvest Hair's Surf Hair on my bangs to sweep them to the side then i rub a dime sized amount of this on my top layer so it fluffs and has texture.
Just for extra info, I wash with Biomega Moisture Shampoo and Mane n Tail conditioner, then use Bed Head Ego Boost leave in conditioner, then use got2b heat protectant, apply Big Sexy Hair Dense, Paul Mitchell Root Lifter, Paul Mitchell ExtraBody sculpting gel, then blow it out, then apply a little more heat protectant and flat iron, apply Wild Harvest Hair Surf Head to bangs.
This is what I do with Surf Hair:
1. Pick out a quarter sized layer
2. Rub it on my top layers and the back of my head
3. I hold the ends of my layers together and pull them up and apart
4. I apply a little more to my top layer and rub it up and separate it with my fingers and fluff it up
So yeah. I love this stuff

I like this product for simply adding texture, as I have yet to try it for waves or curls because in my experience, my hair is simply too thick and heavy to typically hold any sort of curl or wave. I guess I'll have to try that though! I normally put a bit of it in my fingers (about a dime size), rub it in my hands, and then run it through my hair to give it a little bit of "piecey" texture without feeling waxy or pastey. I may have to also try dabbing a very tiny amount at the crown to force my frizz down. Will update to 5 lippies if this product works well for either waves/curls, or holding down frizz! Love this stuff.

I guess this product just isn't for me. I have long thick hair, and wanted to get natural-looking waves. I applied it on damp hair and tied it in a bun. When I let it down, I had attractive shiny waves and curls. However, my hair was still wet. It takes forever to air dry, especially when it hasn't been combed, so using this paste and waiting is impractical.

I love this wax! I use it to give my scene hair some edge, spike the edges out and keep the under layer very straight and smooth. It works wonders. I can even feel it in my hair by the end of the day when I wash it out. Last a long time & doesn't budge! Bam. Insta-rocker chick.

This product is great for such a low price. I use it after I shower with my hair (long and naturally wavy) damp. Gives my hair a very nice texture.

I use to have really short hair. It was colored and really damaged! Even when healthy, my hair is really unruly, but my hair stylist told me to get this wax. I really liked it!
I've never really liked the scent of the Frutis line, but it's not something I hate the smell of, so I was ok with it.
I loved the way it worked! Gave my hair tons of volume, which looked awesome with my A-line bob! It gave my hair shine, and it had a very flexable hold. I love this suff. If I still have short hair, I'd buy it again, in a heartbeat!

I have been using this product for almost six years. My hair is very fine, but it has wicked waves (think Kate Hudson). When I don't use this, my waves aren't as defined. I work it through my hair when it's soaking wet. Be careful not to use too much, though! I LOVE this stuff.

oh my god i love this... i have super straight asian hair but recently i cut my hair pretty short because i wanted a drastic change. that being said, my hair kinda looks like it lacks shape unless i blow dry it or use some sort of heat on it but this product, and this product alone, eliminates the need for any of that. I look like I have voluminous, soft, styled hair and my hair just looks so much better anddddd it doesnt leave my hair feeling dry or stiff and doesnt leave a crusty residue. none of that. loves this stuffff!
