This is a nicely formulated product but did nothing for me. The level of exfoliation from a chemical perspective is very mild. From a physical perspective it is virtually nil as the concentration of particles is so incredibly low. The price is high but it is nicely formulated in that you can leave it on for a long time, dries softly with no irritation whatsoever. Does not leave any burning sensation but nicely hydrated. I would recommend this to dry, very sensitive skin types. Apart from that, this was nothing but a feel good product and a rather expensive one at that.

So easy to use - I just put a layer of the Pumpkin Smoothing Peel on my face and it works while I decide what to wear, put out my jewelry, and agonize over my shoe choices. The timing is perfect before my morning shower. I always use a little of Renee's Mint Buffing Beads, too, as I wipe away the Pumpkin Peel. It gives me a little extra exfoliation.

Love this product - took me awhile to try it because I had so many to use up. This one is great because it is great for sensative skin. Another great product from Renee. You can never go wrong with her products. STILL love this product. I use it first to soften the skin for a few minutes, then follow with the Mint Buffing Beads. Leaves my skin so smooth and soft but still moist.

First let me say- I hate the packaging! It is in a plastic jar and every time I use I have to get utilize a q-tip as not to contaminate the rest of contents. That aside, this is my HG enzyme treatment. It technically is an enzyme treatment but when removing it with tepid water you can use cicular motions to get a scrub-like effect benefit. If you add your favorite manual exfoliator (I use RR refining beads for sensitive skin) and you get a two in one treatment! This smells divine, has no perfume or fragrance, no major essential oils making it extremely gentle for my tempermental skin. It effectively exfoliates my skin without irritation. I use this two to three times a week alternating with the refining beads a couple times a week. I HIGHLY recommend trying this if you are looking for an enzyme treatment. This blows June Jacobs, Jan Marini enzyme treatments away. I just ordered my second jar and that is highly rare for me since I am a skincare jumping junkie.

Okay now I'm just torn. I have combo/acne/sensitive/very fair skin. Renee Rouleau's Mint Buffing beads were my HG scrub but i decided to try out the Pumpkin Smoothing peel just cuz I love enzyme products. I'm in love again! This isn't so much of a scrub as it is an enzyme mask. I'd have to say it's one of the best enzyme masks out there. It's a thick pumpkiney paste with a few rounded microbeads. You leave it on your face for 10 minutes and let the enzymes do their magic. After 10 minutes you rub it in a little to utilize the microbeads and then rinse off. You're left with soft, smooth, radiant skin. I was amazed. I didn't feel like it was doing much when i put it on and actually thought it was going to go in the "hate this" pile. I was pleasantly surprised. My skin feels so clean and refreshed and all the oil that was built up from the hot humid weather is completely wiped away. My skin just feels so comfortable. This peel really is amazing! I'm not a big fan of pumpkin scents unless they are heavily laced with sugar and cinnamon but since this one is so faint you barely notice it, i think i'll overlook that for the amazing results! This will definitely be alternated with my mint buffing beads for gorgeous skin. You've gotta try this stuff! Amazing!

This is Renee's version of the pumpkin scrub/mask that everyone seems to be coming out with lately. I like the bath and body works version, but aside from smelling REALLY nice it didn't do anything but lightly moisturize my face. The sephora version burnt like crazy - no thanks! I can honestly say that Renee's pumpkin peel actually does feel like it's doing something. Aside from the hefty price of $29.50 for 1oz, I like this product alot. It is a thick creamy/paste with small granuals to exfoliate. It smells divine, as you would expect, but not nearly as fragrant as the B&BW or Sephora products I mentioned. It contains Pumpkin Pulp Extract and Bromelain Enzyme (from pineapple) Green Tea Extract and Glycolic acid. You apply a thin layer as a mask and it tingles slightly, but I've experienced no burning. After 10 minutes you scrub and rinse. The scrubbing effect is very, very minor, but after rinsing my face is always brighter and soft. A nice, albeit expensive, splurge. Don't like the jar packaging, would prefer a tube!
