I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! I am a gloss snob, but I love these as much as my Glossimers. Most of the colors are very sheer, Always Ascher included. It looks like a very goth deep blackberry shade in the tube, but applies as a beautiful shimmery plum. Vanilla cake batter flavor is nice, longevity is pretty average, nothing to write home about. The texture is similar to that of a Glossimer - somewhat thick, gel like, but not overly sticky. Fabulous value.

I love this lipgloss for when I want something with vibrance & "pop" -- it's very similar to MAC Pop Mode, only w/o the pricetag! I also love the light vanilla scent, and long-lasting texture (though it's a bit sticky -- if you can't wear or don't like sticky lipglosses, don't buy this!). The color is a cool, deep, shimmery plum, but you can apply it sheerly or heavily to affect the color payoff. You gotta like it for the price!

This is a pretty decent lip gloss. As others have mentioned, it goes on as a sheer wine color with lots of glitter. It's nice glitter, though--not chunky glitter that makes you feel like you have sand on your lips. The staying power is not so hot--30 minutes tops for me. I really like this on top of wine-colored lipstick.

This l/g definitely qualifies for HG status! I own a ton of l/g, but only a select few make it to the HG collection. I already loved Sally Hansen Diamond Lip Treatment in other shades b/c the quality is superior! It's thick, just sticky enough to be longlasting, and very moisturizing (impressive for a l/g)! It also feels very smooth on the lips. This particular shade is a beautiful sheer wash of wine with the most perfect fine but concentrated glitter (not gritty-feeling), and it is highly glossy. It looks fantastic with my skintone! The packaging is a long, slender square tube w/ a nicely locking cap, and it comes with a brush, which I prefer in l/g. The price is around $4+, which is fabulous for such a great product and super cheap compared to other products of similar quality. I will continue to buy this shade, as well as many others from this line!!

I was in LUST with the color as it was displayed through the tube. It applied much lighter and the glitter particles always ended up in my mouth. Yech. The smell - not a fan of. Gloppy consistency...I wasn't impressed.

A really nice pigmented wine colored shimmery gloss. Has good shine and decent staying power. Smells yummy. Would repurchase.

To me, this smells like Hostess Tiger Tails (it makes me think of my lunch box in Elementary School--always on field trip day!!). Anyway, I love the scent, the color, the texture, and the shimmer/shine. But not a lot of lasting power.

I love this stuff. The taste is like cake batter or cookies, some type of vanilla scented baked good and it makes me so very happy to brush it on. This color is the only one in the line that show's up on me. It's gorgeous, a deep scarey grape looking color in the tube but it goes on a very sheer tint and within a few minutes it fades to a MLBB color on me. The microscopic glitter in it is not at all chunky or gritty on the lips at all. It's a really pretty shimmer that is not at all frosty either, it's like the tiniest suspended shimmer that you can barely detect. Take into account that I have practically white lips and whatever I am wearing takes on the exact color of what is in the tube. This just bumped me up to looking like I have a normal persons pigmented lips. It ended up nothing like the color in the tube. Nice consistency, not as sticky as guerlain and not as slippery as tarte or neutrogena, this was somewhere in between. I wish it lasted longer but for $4.79 I ain't complaining.

The color of this gloss was absolutely gorgeous but on me it never lasted more than a half hour, tops. The shine actually lasted longer than the color. The few times I wore it, I had to reapply constantly. Not such a bargain when it doesn't last. Too bad, because I really like the texture and smell.

Awesome l/g. I like this as well as my Bourjois l/g. I am impressed w/the overall quality of l/g and you can't beat the price. This is well pigmented so you can use a little for a subtle look or a lot for a bolder look. This is glossy w/some sparkle but not over the top. As others have mentioned their is a pleasant vanilla scent but I really noticed no taste. It last really well for a l/g but isn't sticky in the least. IMO this is a very sexy color. I will definitely be purchasing again as I reach for this often.

All in all, a great product. This is now one of my two favorite lip products, out of the tons that I own. The gloss is perfect. It has a subtle, vanilla-y scent and it's thick but not sticky or too shiny. The color is fabulous; it's a nice berry stain that is buildable and lasts a decent amount of time. The packaging is great- a slender tube with a brush applicator. This is THE gloss I turn to when I want to add color to my lips and get away from the usual nude look. And the price is amazing! You won't be disappointed. I can't believe how much I love this gloss!

I have to admit that I almost didn't buy this b/c of the dark appearance. However, I remembered from the reviews that it goes on very sheer. This is a very nice berry purply color on lips. It looks great when lined with MAC Plum and if you want a more plummy look, it looks absolutely fantastic when applied w/ the Plum lipliner and MAC Plum Dandy. I have coppery red hair and green/hazel/brown eyes and this really looks nice.

I agree, this looks a lot like Lancome's Honey Violet Juicy Tube, but I think this one is maybe a little sparklier and less thick. I like them both; the JT is a little softer on the lips and the color is little prettier, but for 5 bucks, pick up Always Asscher too.

MUA can be dangerous to one's budget... see a new product in the store, read about it on MUA, decide you *have* to have it. Well, Sally Hansen to the rescue: this is an absolutely beautiful, top-quality gloss for a mere $5. Pack your lunch one day instead of eating out, and treat yourself to a Diamond Lip Treatment with the money you save!
I chose "Always Ascher" because in general, I like deeper and berry-toned lip colors-- and I knew from the reviews this is much more sheer than it looks. PPPs, don't be scared off by the Goth appearance of this shade; it creates a beautiful sheer berry wash on the lips. I love everything about this gloss:
-Classy brush applicator that distributes color very evenly and easily
-Inoffensive, pleasant coconut scent
-Very high shine combined with micro-shimmer= super-reflective lips
-Moisturizing and non-sticky
-Gorgeous, lip-enhancing color!
-Micro-shimmer glitter doesn't stick to lips or look cheap
-Even a darker shade like this doesn't bleed on my 30something lipline

This is a nice enough color. Although it looks dark in the tube, on me (PPP with medium brown hair and highly pigmented lips) it's sort of a shimmery very natural your-lips-but-better shade, which I like. The texture is okay, not great but but terrible. I don't like the packaging/applicator - it's a brush applicator and I prefer sponge. I don't think I would buy it again, because it's not outstanding and I would try to find a more moisturizing formula with a sponge applicator and perhaps a slightly more dramatic color. But I will definitely wear it.

This lip gloss is almost identical to Lancome's Juicy Tube in Honey Violet--the ONLY differences being the scent, the tubes, and the price. Always Ascher has more of a vanilla-type scent that fades on your lips, while Honey Violet has a fruity scent that kind of lingers. I really saw no difference in color and texture between these two lip glosses. Both feel very nice and not too sticky, and they both look frighteningly purple in the tube but are a beautiful, shimmery plum on my lips. I bought the Lancome gloss after reading all the great reviews for it, only to find it was just like this one. Ah, well. I keep Always Ascher in my bathroom and carry the Honey Violet with me in my purse because the squeeze tube is easier to swipe over my lips when I'm on the go. And of course the Diamond gloss was only about $5 compared to the $13.50 I paid at my AAFES store for Lancome. =)

I love the Diamond Lip Treatment line. This color is so pretty...looks kinda scary in the tube, but it applies a sheer plummy-wine. Love the brush applicator and light vanilla smell. Staying power is decent too. Would buy more of these!

Always Ascher is my hands down favorite Diamond lip treatment gloss, and I have several of these. It is a perfect, absolutely beautiful shimmery deep berry that is not too dark nor too sheer. Just perfect and so sexy for night when paired with a berry lipstick or even day alone. One of my favorite glosses. And the Diamond Lip treatment formula is fab! Slightly-sticky, lasts relatively well, GREAT shimmer/shine, comfortable on the lips and the yummiest coconut-vanilla smell. I also adore the brush applicator. For 5 bucks, it's a winner.

Love it! Saw it for the first time at Wal-Mart, but in an open tube (someone must have opened it and left it there), so i was afraid to buy it, even though i loved the color. I think Wal-Mart has taken Sally Hansen's cosmetics off their shelves, because i coudnt find it again, until i saw it at Rite-Aid yersterday.
Love the color and the brush it comes with - very professional :). Wish the color was a bit less sheer, it's almost like a pinky-sparkly-clear gloss on my lips. Lasts forever - love it!

I would buy this in another color, because I've finally, finally, finally come to the conclusion that plummy colors do not work on my lips. They are already sorta mauvey and the additional purple makes me look kinda goth-y. But this is a nice lipgloss, overall. Smooth, thick, slightly sticky texture. Very shimmery (silver specks), but not over-the-top glitter. "Always Ascher" is a deep plum/wine color that is more purple than red. Smells sorta vanilla-ish, but in an unpleasant way (to me, at least). Scent fades quickly, fortunately. There's no taste. Long, thin, square tube with a brush applicator (rather handy, though you still need a finger to even out the color). NB: Milani's Crystal Gloss in "Allure" looks exactly like "Always Ascher" on my lips, but without the glitter.
