I LOVED the original cola float has anyone found a similar color since they discontinued it?

NICE! This is a sheer gloss with a slight pink tone. It's smooth and creamy. The only negative is the smell is not good. There is a slight aroma of cola, but it's very faint. After a while, the smell fades away thankfully. I purchased this recently at Dollar Tree. Since this a somewhat sheer I plan on using it to combine with my lipsticks to give them a bit of shine and moisture. Perfect.

Yummy!!!!!! Gorgeous sheer pink gloss, great staying power and smooth non-sticky texture. Best part: it tastes exactly like a coke float :) Delish!!

I found this in the back of my lipgloss drawer the other day and cannot get enough of it. It's a really sheer pinky-peach colour that is easy to wear, and best of all it smells like a vanilla coke float.
I don't really find these all that shiny, despite the name. If you're looking for something uber shiny, this probably isn't the best gloss for you. If you want something subtle and pretty, it's a great option.
I have a tube with the older sponge tip applicator, which I really liked. I find the newer ones a lot more messy and less precise. I wish they wouldn't have changed them. The glosses are still decent quality, though, for the price, and I would repurchase, sponge applicator or not.

Just yesterday, I purchased the Cola Float lip gloss. I always loved Maybelline's shiny-licious lip glosses and the color of this one didn't seem bad, so I decided to give it a shot. To say, I'm very disappointed. The color is very light and dull and it makes it seems like I consumed a very oily piece of fried chicken. And to add, the smell of this product is horrendous. Much like medicine? Does not remind me of any cola float of whatever sort. And I really dislike the applicator, when I finished applying it on, the lip gloss just smeared all over the tip, it looked really disgusting. I regret purchasing this product because I love all of Maybelline's other lip glosses. (Except Berry Clear) I would not recommend this product to anyone unless, 1)their lips are pale enough for this color to even be visible and 2)enjoy the smell of medicine on their lips.

poo poo, I just read on the Maybelline webiste that Cola Float was discontinued....what a shame!!!!. The newer version of Cola Float (it was reformulated a couple of years back) was the perfect peach-pink/nude lip gloss. It was almost a salmon pink color and peachy pinks hardly look bad on anyone. This color was the perfect everyday shade and Maybelline got rid of it. Personally I think there are far more other colors that Maybelline could have dumped. It's a shame that they get rid of something that look so good.....hopefully that will come to their senses and bring back a very similar color for one of the other lines (Shine Seduction, Volume XL). I have yet to come across a Maybelline lipgloss with such a pretty, flattering color. Too bad :-(

The Maybelline shiny-licious are probably my favorite DS lipglosses. This one I like the most. I only have 3 though. The color is a very nice bronze color, true to the color you see in the tube. The pigment on this is good, better than I thought, better than the other 2 I have. The cola taste is good. This has the sponge tip applicator which is not my favorite, but its ok. The metallic shimmer of this is not too much IMO, and I find that while this is ,its not overly orange, and doesn't make my teeth yellowish, it helps to make them look whiter. I am weary of any bronze type color on my lips for this reason, my teeth are white as I whiten them, but an orange-ish lippie won't do anyone justice as far as their teeth IMO.
I find this moisturizing, fairly long lasting. I would definitely repurchase.

I really liked the original version/color of Cola Float, before they changed it to the lighter salmon/coral color it is now. It was a bronzey coppery color that really looked nice on, plus it smelled like Coke/Dr. Pepper a little bit. The packaging was just okay, a little pricey for a drugstore gloss. I have tried a handful of Shiny-licious and most of them were misses for me, this one was the only hit and they changed the color which just doesn't work for me, oh well. Sorry Maybelline, but I wish you would have left this one alone....

LOVED this lip gloss. Everything from the color to the scent, to the shine; it was perfect. I have a VERY hard time finding a good gloss/ lipstick shade for my skin tone (fair-medium but with olive tones) and this gloss was great for me because, applied over some colors, it created a perfect balance for me.

I bought this with the new plastic tip applicator. I noticed that the color became sheerer than it used to be in the old container, and this gloss isn't shiny at all. When I buy a lip gloss, I want it to be at least a little bit of shine, but I had to look close to the mirror to tell that I had lip gloss on at all. I think the old formula was more pigmented.

I used some of my sister's for this review and I must say, this is a beautiful colour. It's so beautiful on (NC25) and has a lovely shine to it. I have Jam n Jelly and I like this better than that one. The colour in this one is more concentrated and wow, just love it. Staying power is average for a lip gloss I'd say but man, is tis nice. I'm buying one for myself.

I am so glad I decided to get this! I've never bought any maybelline lipglosses but i saw these on sale at Ulta (BOGOF) and got Cola-Float along with Jam N' Jelly. Cola-Float is my new HG. It creates a perfect nude lip, and feels smooth instead of sticky. It's a pinky-peachy-nude color that gives my lips a "creamy" look. I will be waiting for these to be BOGOF again, and will definitely buy 2 more of these!

Mmm. This smells just like Dr. Pepper. It's not too sticky and goes on smoothly. I love wearing it for a natural everyday look. It gives my lips shine and a hint of color. I am a low-maintenance girl who usually just slathers on chapstick, so this is a gentle step up for me. :)

I loved this gloss, it smells wonderful (just like a coke float) and the copper color in the tube somehow transfers to your lips as a lovely rose. However, I recently found out that Maybelline uses animal testing, so I will not be using or purchasing any more of their products until they stop. This is going in the trash.

Ok, I got this at CVS for 50% off- The MU lady told me they were discontinuing a lot of colors at their store so out of the colors that were going byebye (atleast from my local CVS) were this, the grape one, I think a couple of other darker plum ones too. I bought this because the color is kinda pretty- to me its a rosy mauve pink color... not at all brown- very natural looking color with a touch of shimmer. It goes on more sheer as expected with a hint of color that shows up on my already naturally colored lips. Its ok- not the BEST but I've tried worse! When I squeezed the tube- clear sticky gel oozed out and I actually thought that was the color! lol.. I soon realized it had seperated so now I smoosh the tube before squeezing to get it mixed. Consistency is average. Lasted awhile... did not last through my cup noodle lunch but what gloss does? I'd buy it again but only on sale for 50% off again! Original price of $6-something is overpriced for a cheaper maybelline gloss. Scent is cola like the name... true to the name which isnt so bad.. taste is kinda icky but it's not meant for you to eat it..so.. no problem there. Not that sticky... I've tried a billion glosses that were way stickier actually including my favorite Baby Pink Lipgloss... overall- I think you should try but only if you can get it at a bargain price.

This tastes soooo good! Smells great too. A perfect kissing gloss. I prefer this to Victoria's Secret glosses because they don't have glitter/shimmer. I prefer the slick glossy look, it's a bit more natural.
The shade is great alone for a little tint and works well over my tinted lip balms. I like it, and it's cheap. I think I'll try some more shades.

Yeah, the color has changed to a light coral from the more coppery and dark original, but I like it. Smells good, since I like cola scents. Staying power is decent. Cost me five dollars though, which is kind of a lot for a drugstore l/g. Would buy again.

Hey, what the heck? The shade for Cola Float has been changed to a lovely light and creamy salmon colour. The cola scent is still the same. I was so shocked when I saw this change. I really liked the coppery colour of the original. Anyways, I have yet to try this new gloss. I shall update shortly. To be continued....

Decent formula, but I couldn't stand the smell.Like cheap plastic cola. I got it as an extra in a swap. Also, this color wasn't for me. It was too red in undertone, too coppery, and that is one kind of color I always stay away from. Unlike other people, the spongetip applicator didn't bother me-I actually rather like the fuzziness of it! I wouldn't repurchase in this color though.
