This is a clear gloss with silver microglitter. It really gives a lot of shine without goopiness. No flavor but smells slightly like cocoa butter. It was around $3 at CVS.

This is a great top coat and clear gloss. Not too sticky with a subtle shimmer than can easily bring out any lipstick or lacquer. Very moisturizing, minorly lip plumping effects too. I was very surprised by the quality of this. It has a non offensive vanilla scent, not too strong/sweet with no after taste or build up... Decent staying power. Comes in a sleek tube with a brush applictar.. the brush sprays a bit but if you trim that off it's fine (haven't had a problem since nor did I have this problem with the newer glosses). It's a great gloss for the price that I've tried other Diamond Lip Treatments and love them too.

I got this as gift of purchase from a nail polish. It turns out to be a great product! It works well itself on my lips. It is also very good as a topcoat on other lipsticks to give a shimmery look. My wrinkles on the lips tend to look obvious after applying lipsticks, and this lip gloss helps the situation. It's not sticky at all. I am glad I found this, and will probably try other colors as well.

I like the way these smell but they don't last long on the lips and the brush splays like crazy! I do like the shine and shimmer they give so I would buy again.

I love this line - high quality lipglosses with awesome staying power, smell like vanilla and have beautiful color choices. Two of these were already HG for me - Always Ascher (sheer plummy wine w/sparkles) and Elegant Cognac (creamy, milky brown). I wonder if they patterned these after Lancome (color-wise, texture is similar to MAC lipglass)? I was going to buy Honey Violet until I read it was a dead ringer for Always Ascher, and now when I was looking for Lancome Starlight (LE), I discover in Productville reviews that Diamond (clear) is almost an exaxt dupe! Diamond is so pretty and versatile - a clear gloss packed w/silver microglitter. Awesome by itself or layered over lipstick. I think these and L'Oreal Glam Shines are the best d/s lipglosses you will find.

Gorgeous, HG "clear" gloss for me. Super-soft, non-sticky, doesn't disturb lipstick or liner, lasting and LOVELY shimmer!!!! I adore this.

I fell in love with Lancome's Star Gloss in Starlight recently when I heard about this more affordable alternative.

Picked it up today at SDM & it's a really close copy to Starlight, although imo Diamond has more shine & Starlight has more of that special sparkle.
The tube of Starlight is very chic, but it has a heavy fragrance that I've only just noticed, and a not so great taste; Diamond on the other hand has an okay tube (although when I took mine out, a bit of the cardboard packaging was stuck to the tube, and remain so!), but as others have mentioned, it has a nice vanilla scent & an alright taste. (I don't make a point of eating my glosses, but when it's sitting on your lips, it's bound to happen...)

At the end of the day, both Lancome's Star Gloss Starlight and Sally Hansen's Diamond Lip Treatment in Diamond are WINNERS!

Although Starlight will remain my HG, Diamond is a good alternative that won't have you crying to the poorhouse :P Will repurchase.

UPDATE: Started noticing a strong taste to the Lancome Star Gloss (others have noted a strong scent)-yuck. Am liking Sally Hansen more and more.

I bought this at ulta after reading all the good reviews even though I really don't need another gloss. I wanted a clear, subtle, sparkley gloss to wear over my lipstick. This works nicely and smells yummy when I apply it. I use it often which is a good indicator of how much I like it! I like the brush applicator, too.

Hate to ruin the perfect rating for this, but I didn't like it all that much. It is clear with silver sparkles, but shows up kinda frosty-looking on my pigmented lips. Odd, since it's clear. Anyway, texture, wear, price and packaging are all great, however. So don't let my review dissuade you from trying this if you want to. I wouldn't buy this particular color again, but I'd definitely repurchase my fave color ("Antique Bronze").

I am so *not* a lipgloss girl, but as spring and summer are approaching I was on the lookout for an inexpensive clear lipgloss to wear over my lipsticks to add some shearness and shine. I've tried Lancome's Starlight and Px's Moonbeam gloss in Lunar (both are gorgeous) but just can't justify spending so much on lipglosses when they just don't last. Finally, I've found a 'just as gorgeous' lipgloss for a fraction of the price. This is so very worth it -- and it smells wonderful. Can't rave enough about it!

First of all, you've gotta love the brush applicator!! and when you see this in the tube your eyes lips and everything else says "I've gotta have it" and you should get it because its an awesome gloss. This gives your lips shine and then some. So wonderful to put over other lipcolors too. Smells nice too :D

I purchased this with Always Ascher and Royal Romance and I have to agree with everyone else on this. This gloss is just perfect. It's just like my Lustreglass in texture--thick and somewhat sticky. It moisturizes my lips and is very shiney and shimmery. The glitter isn't annoying in any way and wears of with the gloss rather than staying on the lips.l The smell is kind of strong but bearable nonetheless-a mix between vanilla and coconut. Overall I really love this product and will definitely check out the other colors.

As was already pointed out, this is a dead-ringer for Lancome's Starlight gloss. Diamond is a clear gloss base with TONS of silver microglitter in it, not gritty in the least (you don't feel a thing). The glitter is SO fine, actually, that if used alone on my lips, it just looks like my lips are full & juicy, not glittery at all.It adds a depth and dimension to my lips that I love. And if added to the center of my lips over lipstick, it just gives such an incredibly full look. These new SH Diamond Lip Treament glosses come in a long square tube with a brush applicator, and the scent (to ME, anyhow) is a sugary cotton candy (and the taste doesn't seep into my mouth, an added plus). Almost forgot to mention the feel -- not sticky at all, but rather very smooth and conditioning. A steal at under $4.00 USD. Definitely check at least one out.

Diamond is a clear color with heavy silver shimmer. Looks brilliantly shiny and sparkly on. Best clear/sparkly gloss so far. No grittiness. I'll definitely use this one when I need a clear/sparkly color- I just adore this formula. (Mixing it with LaFemme Sparkle Dust in Chantilly results in the best Chanel Blizzard knockoff I've found yet.)

I was so impressed by this product: I have been eyeing Sally Hansen lip gloss at my drugstores because they are marked down by 50%. I am not usually interested in sparkly lip gloss, finding that most of them are gritty, but I tried this and liked it a lot. Excellent texture, thinner and silkier than Almay's glosses, which an excellent applicator that doesn't gunk up like some of the brush-kinds do. The colors look very sheer- I picked a pale color, "brilliant something", and it complimented my NW20 skin (hazel eyes, medium brown hair) beautifully! Will purchase again!

My hunt for a lipgloss that looks identical to Lancome Stargloss - Starlight is over!!! What's even better is that this stuff is about 1/5 of the cost of Lancome l/g ($4 at Target, as opposed to $18+ for Lancome)!! Plus, the consistency is less runny, so it will probably last longer. It's also just as shiny and sparkley as the Lancome l/g! It has a vanilla scent and no taste. I love how it applies so smoothily and evenly! The packaging is lovely and very similar to Neutrogena's l/g (thin square tube). Lastly, the brush is exactly the same as the one in Lancome's l/g. Good job Sally Hansen! XO!
