Rose brown is my no. 1 nude liner from the NYX line. It serves as the perfect warm base for my nude lipstick/gloss. It is a lovely medium brown with very slight orange undertones and like all NYX liners, it goes on very creamy and blends like a dream. Love it.
Edit: I'm still loving the color of this liner, but i have to say that I find the NYX slim lip pencils to be not as good as the long lip pencils. I find rose brown to be kinda waxy and not as long lasting as the long lip pencils. Ironically, slim lip pencils are more expensive. I will not be re-purchasing this simply because I think I'll be using my long pencils and MAC lip liners over this and so will probably never use up my present pencil.

Okay, I am not sure that I purchased the same lip liner as the other reviewers. I bought Rose Brown, but it is the ugliest, most unflattering lip liner I have ever purchased. For those of us who have ordered product from cherryculture.com or NYX, we know that the colors and or names are always off on the websites.

This lip pencil is not Rose Brown ~ there is nothing rose about this pencil at all. I ordered this site unseen from the cherryculture.com website. When it arrived, I received this dark brown pencil, that resembled an eye pencil, not a lip pencil.

Lining my lips with a brown pencil resembled "brown lips" from 15 to 20 years ago that I never wore or liked. This pencil cost me $2.50, which is a good thing, because I cannot return it and it ended up in the garbage can. However, in today's economy I still do not like to throw away unwanted cosmetics ~ it's such a waste of money.

Love NYX lip pencils, but I will not buy this color again...

The color is definately brown, not so much rose. I like the consistency, and it is very easy to apply. Would not buy again because I don't care for the color with my pale skin, but does give a neutral look.

Would definitely repurchase this one - I love it with my nude and neutral lipsticks and Nymphette-type glosses. I put this on the other day and greeted my little brother and his girlfriend. They both reacted with the same wooooh! you hear when people see fireworks. The girlfriend said "oh my gosh, I love your face! You have that whole brown beauty thing going on" and my little brother chimed in "yeah! Even your lips are like - perfect! You look really good, Reen."
Hah. 'Nuff said, except for the whole lip look: Rose Brown lining with Alexis Vogel Bliss gloss - it's the same color but nicer texture than Nymphette, by the by - also the same color as Victoria Secret's Isabel. Oh, who am I kidding? ALSO the same color as Chanel Twinkle and Prestige Vinylwear in Alloy and Stile It Gloss in Kitten. Also the same color as Poco Pink by MAC - just a great basic rosey pink gold. Gorgeous.
