(purchased this in Medium Brown)
God bless the Trade Secrets lady who did my brows and recommended this brow powder. Prior to buying this, I really didn't wanna spend on an expensive brow powder at Sephora. I had been using a drugstore brow powder kit which was OK for what it was but it was too light for my brows. I don't remember exactly how much this was but it was definitely under $12.
- the packaging is black plastic which is NOT cheap whatsoever, comes with a mini mirror and mini brow brush which i completely love
- Medium brown is the perfect color for me. It does not match my black sparse brows, but it creates a natural and full brow for me.
- I find that if I don't set my brows with brow gel (I use MAC's Beguile), the powder fades away. So i recommend using a gel with this powder.

I am blonde with thin brows and I want to make the most out of them without looking like "Mommie Dearest". Ardell brow defining powder in Taupe is wonderful. It fills them in and is not too dark and swipes on in a second. Great looking and easy easy easy to use. I buy it in Sally's Hair product
stores for about $5.

Adore this product! Last all day and the pigment pay off is great. Though i am not a fan of the packaging. I drop it once or twice and the thing shatter ( either the lid broke or the shadow broke ). But still, I would still re purchase it

Great brow powder, I have light blonde hair and this matches well for my eyebrows. Goes on good and stays all day. No orange or reddish tone which is good.

Yes, this does work great on brows, but I prefer one of my Stila shadows more. Instead, I have started using this as a cheek contour powder! My skin is light olive, and this is such a perfect shade to go right under the cheekbone for more sculpting. It's not too dark, and has no orange cast to it. Then I top it with a peach blush and I'm ready to go! Works great to define your jawline as well, just keep a light hand and use a contouring blush brush.

i have repurchased this around 4 times(it lasts FOREVER) i started using this after i borrowed it from my mom. i have really thin brows but i love the natural looking brow so i apply it with a different brush because the one it comes with is not good at all, so i would recommend to get a different brush and when i apply i do dab away the excess multiple times on a napkin for a more natural look. anywho the product is wonderful. you just need a little bit so sweep across your brows... then comb through, or lightly add some pencil on top more of a dramatic look if you would like then BAM amazing ;)

i have several different brow powders and pencils...but every morning i seem to reach for this one. it's a great match for my skin and hair. doesn't come off as unnatural. the staying power is great.(removal is easy with a makeup wipe or regular face washing)
the package is small enough to carry with. the brush however is easily lost in a makeup bag..need something else, but for 3.99 i can't complain.
i would repurchase this, but i don't see me needing to anytime soon, i've been using it for well over a year now and haven't even dented the top. (not a good product to add to a 10 pan project..you'll never finish it!)

This was a horrible product. The color was off. Whose eyebrows are this shade? The shade in the container looks okay but once applied, it is way too ashy and dull. Also, Taupe? This is no taupe at all. I actually bought this because it looked medium brown but it is not taupe shade at all.

Unfortunately color pay off is weak. Color match was also unsatisfying, and brush that came with it terrible!

This goes on well but you need a good brush. The one that comes with it is useless. Staying power is good but the color is a bit warm for my taste. If anyone knows a light-med brown brown color that doesn't have warmth, let me know. I think for the $$$ and the fact this lasts a long time, it's definitely worth the purchase.

I love this stuff! I've used MAC brow shaders before and this is no different except for the price. This was about $4.50 at CVS and it is seriously the best brow product ever. I don't use the little brush it comes with (i use the MAC version) and it doesn't take much product to shade in my brows. I love this stuff. The packaging is great and the shade is just perfect!

This is probably the best buy ever. Well to make this actually work you have go to get your eyebrows shaped first cuz i noticed a huge dfference. I love how its not too dark but juuuust right lol After i apply this i use a clear brow gel and im set.I always get compliments on my eyebrows.

This product is incredible! Not only is this perfect for your brows, but this is my multi-purpose product. You can use this to contour your cheeks or other facial features, you can use this as an eyeshadow, and apply it wet as an eyeliner. This product is the perfect color for your face and perfect for using it on the brows. Definitely recommend it!

I use Taupe and I have medium to dark brunetter hair. I love it!!! The only brow anything I have ever used. I use my own brow brush and I really like that this color is totally buildable. during the daytime i can put it on fairly light but at night i can darken it up!!!! love it

I have this in Taupe. Good pigmentation. Color is good but a little to red/brassy. I apply this and then use a basic Rimmel black matte eyeshadow lightly to reduce the redness. I like this a lot I may try it in Mink Brown.

I agree with the review below who mentioned that this has some red in it. However, that works well for me because I am a redhead. Like a lot of redheads, my eyebrows are invisible. This totally helps and it looks natural.

This is a great product. I've been using the mink brown for about 2 years and I love it. . It was cheap and it looks VERY natural. (i can't stand girls who look like they drew their eyebrows with a Sharpie lol)
I think they have 3 different shades. I tried a shade lighter and was a bit disappointed, but I didnt give up because it was still a good product. So I tried a shade darker and now, with Mink Brown, I'm 100% satisfied!!!

I purchased this in the mink brown shade. I got a little tweezer happy, and I was desperate to try anything. At first, I looked completely rediculous b/c I applied too much (it's really easy to apply too much, so be very careful). However, when you apply just a little, it looks fabulous. Really fills in those sparse areas without looking completely fake and drawn on. I got mine at CVS for $4.99! It is cheaper in other places though, for about a dollar and change less.

I really wanted to like this. The price was right, $4.00 or so at Walgreens. It applies very nicely, stays put, and gives a nice effect. The dealbreaker is -- there is WAY TOO MUCH RED in this color. It is not taupe. Perhaps it would suit red-heads, but certainly not fair blondes like myself.

When I was little I made a few "boo-boos" with my eyebrows (trying to copy the super-thin Covergirl models' eyebrows from the TV commercials-bad TV, bad TV) and they never grew back in some spots. I was using eyebrow pencils, but you could always see the fake lines. Well, I found this product by accident while I was looking for false eyelashes, and it has been a Godsend. I bought the Mink Brown shade and it has given me back my eyebrows. They look natural now , and it's so easy to wear. Be very light on the application, though, or you'll end up looking like Eddie Monster ;-)
