I bout this in palette alongside 5 other Pout shades. This one is the best of the bunch. It packs more pigment than most pout shades and is a nice shimmery purple color. Looks great as an eyeliner. But, still the quality is poor in general and the experience with the other colors will lead me not to repurchase.

I never heard of pout until I was in Victoria Secret about a year ago (I believe it is a U.K. brand and I'm from the U.S.) I must say I love love love Miss September! I have hazel eyes and the purple color def. makes my eyes POP! The color gives you an awesome "smokey" eye look. The packaging is cute and the price isn't too bad either. I must say I never used any of my eyeshadows until there wasn't anymore left, but I feel like the was packaging was a little deceiving- I thought I was getting more in the package, oh well. Overall I would def. buy this product again in a New York minute!

Swatched on the back of my hand – I thought this duo would be somewhat promising. But once I tried it on, I realized why this Pout duo had so many negative reviews. The light blue shade really kills it for me- it’s incredibly sheer to the point that when applied upon the eyelids it turns into a silvery white kind of wash. The light blue doesn’t take too well to layering either and is quite gritty due to the chunky shimmer particles. However, the dark blue is quite pretty – can be applied sheerly but takes better to layering. Reminds me of MAC’s Flashtrack eyeshadow. It’s also noticeably silkier and has a nicer texture than the light blue one overall. This is an okay duo to wear to the office place since it’s not really all that offensive, but I guess most of the reviewers here, including me, were looking for a more color intense pair of shades. I never tried this duo wet, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a little Visine would make this duo tons more wearable and liked by all. The packaging is magnetized cardboard, which sucks, but it's kind of cute. Probably wouldn't repurchase this.

I so love the sandy shimmer one shadow of this duo. It is so pretty! It's a shade I could wear everyday as a nice but subtle wash on the lids. There's nothing unique about the darker plum color though. But I just had to get this duo to get my hands on the sandy shimmer shadow!
The texture is very nice and smooth, good quality. Pretty and girly packaging. I will definitely repurchase!

OVERALL: Bottom line: teeny-weeny eyeshadow duo that can look great, but isn't anything to write home about.

MY EYES: I have light green eyes, so these colors were perfect for them.

PACKAGING: The size of the product is really tiny. The packaging looks very pretty in the usual Pout aqua shade, but it reminds me of a child's eyeshadow or a really chintzy GWP size. Not worth $18, in my opinion.

PRODUCT: Did not last very long when put on. Again, reinforced the idea that it looks like pretend or child's makeup because of the tiny portions of the eyeshadows.

COLORS: As for the colors, they look nice in the container, but don't really last long on. Also, the colors aren't anything you couldn't find elsewhere. They are pretty together, though.

PRICE: $18 is not bad for a higher-end eyeshadow duo, but this particular item is tinier than most GWP-size shadow duos, so certainly not worth the price.

Oh how I absolutely love this e/s duo! The website described the colors perfectly and they look so fabulous on. As a MAC and Stila junkie I was worried about trying a new brand, but this was definitely the one to try! I must have every duo now! The colors stay on me and look wonderful with my hazel eyes and MMM complexion. The shimmery gold isn't too shimmery for day nor is it to sheer. The plum color is perfect in the crease for day dry and for night a little wet for more coverage. I don't know how much it cost as it was a gift. Probably expensive since I love it and want more!

Adorable packaging, great duo. The dark purple and champagne shimmer work so well together and have a great buttery texture. Great staple to have in your makeup bag!

This is a great product; it really brings out the green in my hazel/green eyes. The consistency is very nice, it goes on easily. I use the lighter shade on my eyelids, and the dark plum along the crease.

NC20, LLL, Green-Hazel Eyes>>>Another winning duo from Pout! Miss September consists of a light-shimmering, sand/champagne and a deep-shimmering purple with pinkish undertones. I love Pout's complexity of colors as evidenced by my shade descriptions..LOL! Excellent pigmentation and buttery-smooth texture! This duo really makes my eye color pop! To be honest, the texture of these shadows blows MAC right out the window; IMHO. I am glad that I was turned on to these by a close pal here. Texture/Pigment snobs (like me) will be satisfied with the quality of this duo!

The pigment from these shadows is crazy amazing! The colour Miss September is a light golden sand colour and a deep shimmery amythest purple. They look gorgeous together. Especially for a green eyed girl such as myself.
