This has soft top notes of citrus, and the blackberry comes out almost immediately. It's a nice robust blackberry not a sweet light one like L'artisan's mure et musc. However I don't think Im a big fan of blackberry perfumes, So i won't be buying this. It gets slightly powdery in the middle, and yes there is something oh so quietly medicinal, don't know what. It didn't last long though and then the drydown is a nice soft musky blackberry, very little vanilla. This would be nice if you like blackberry.

This is my second bottle of the lovely Mure. I also own L'Artisan's Mure et Musc extreme, and I have to say, the less expensive one, the Molinard, is blackberry perfection. I feel content when I wear this one. The sillage is lovely, and the scent softly lingers all day. I love the cobalt blue bottles and the lovely packaging of the Molinard products. Like the reviewer before me, I don't care for the new bottles.
Find it online at good prices. You won't regret it.

The beauty of Molinard's Mure is that it is almost all Mure, or blackberry. There is very little of musk, none of vanilla, and only a bit of green. Mure is all blackberry, all the time. It's not a cloying, sweet blackberry, and it's not particularly "edible." It isn't quite sour, either. It's a light, pretty scent that is exactly akin to the scent that comes off buckets of blackberries sitting in the sun. You can layer it with vanilla, or Egyptian musk (if you want to tip it in those directions) or just enjoy a soft, light cloud of blackberry around you. It gives the impression of perhaps the aftereffect of a shampoo or shower gel with a very diffuse, but present sillage. My bottle is the old royal blue glass bottle so from my point of view, it's gorgeous. The new bottles... not so pretty.

Bleach, did I get a bad one?! Mine smelled like cheap, powdery perfume with a little bit of fake sweetness in the background.

I love this refreshing fragrance! I got this in a swap last year and it's an amazing gem. :-)
It reminds me of the homemade blackberry/raspberry pudding cake of my grandmother (she makes it with the fruits from her own garden, so yummy!!). This has a fruity yet slightly sweet & sour scent. Loveable!
I especially enjoy wearing this fragrance on a hot, humid summer day. It's light & fresh enough. Sometimes I pair it with Prune from Yves Rocher, they smell really good together (both has a sweet & sour scent).
The staying power is quite poor however, that's why it gets 4 lippies instead of 5. But (without a doubt!) I would buy it again!

I am a blackberry scent lover but this one is my favorite! It's not too sweet or sharp. Just a nice, light blackberry scent that's perfect for summer. This scent is nice to layer with other fragrances like Musk (good with Jovan's White Musk)and Egyptian Musk oil.
