This was in my very first set of imp's that I purchased. Sadly, it is the only one that I can't stand. It is so strong, so overwhelming, and it overpowers an entire room. It reminds me of a very thick, soapy, heady bathroom spray or room spray. I can imagine that this is what someone would use to cover up the smell of a locker room. Nothing about smells expensive or complex. I don't smell more than one note even, only soap laden jasmine. I'm disappointed, but since I was happy with my other imps I don't really mind the loss of this one.

at first i could smell the jasmine, but five minutes later i was assaulted by powder. really strong powder. i tend to amp any musk (what does that say about me?) and on me this smelled EXACTLY like love's baby soft. blech. all day long i smelled like a scented tampon. to be fair, powder is my most hated fragrance note. i can only tolerate it when it's blended with lots of other things-not when it's the main event.

This is a very, very (VERY) strong Jasmine based scent. First applied it is a sweet yet somehow dirty smelling Jasmine... and did I mention that it's STRONG? I normally love jasmine, but this was headache-inducing for me. I had to wash it off after 10 minutes because the scent did not change or fade at all... Thick, strong jasmine with something else in it to make it a very heavy scent.

Heavy, warm, dirty, sexified jasmine. Very intriguing. Apply this one with a light hand; it's pretty intense. Like another reviewer mentioned, I would also imagine that this would be virtually unwearable in hot weather.

Given the name, who would expect said boy to enter and announce that it "smells like a bathroom in here" ? Sex appeal (and blunt husband) aside, this scent is generic powdery rose-floral meets sweet almond underlayer (honeysuckle?) meets soap. Old fashioned lye soap at that. The scent is full, loud, and in warmer weather no doubt overpowering. Easy to imagine as a brothel favorite (as mentioned in the description)-- it covers every scent in the vicinity. Interesting, historical, and nearly unwearable. (my usual application is 2 dabs per arm, about 1/8th imp)

One of my favorite BPAL scents. I got it as a frimp and immeadiately fell in love. It goes on smelling like a lemony floral cake, and quickly dries down to a warmer, more powdery version of the same. It layers well with La Petit Mort and just screams sexy.

Hm. I can see why this is a good frag for getting "boys". It's vanilla-ey, musky, and white floral. I think it has some low level jasmin going on, or maybe it's heliotrope. Kind of innocent and tropical/exotic at the same time. Depending on the day, it could be headache inducing.

A houdoun recipe dating back almost 150 years. This blend is favored by prostitutes, exotic dancers and others in the sex industry for its power to attract, seduce, and enthrall. Ensures financial gain and increased profits.

A clean, powdery (heavy heliotrope), soapy, white floralish blend. Not for me, although I can see why boys might er, "follow" this.
