The color is gorgeous and works with metallic shadows and lighter pastels, and it is the perfect amount of shimmer when applied lightly. The only gripe I have with it is that the fallout when applying to your brush and/or eye is so crazy that you pretty much lose half of the product. It's hard not to make a mess down your face when applying the color or swirling a brush in the pan, so it's especially difficult to use in the crease. I use this color on occasion in small dosages, because that's honestly all I can take.

its not the most unique colour out there, and i think id buy a mac eyeshadow that has less glitter fall out.
i quite like it to be honest, but its mediocre, the colour is pinky, but not sushi flower pinky, i like to use this just with black eyeliner, for a simple look.
its more glittery than pearly, so there isnt that foil look to your eyes, its quite pretty, but again the fall out.
it also kinda makes me look like i have some allergy going on on my eyelids. i think im too cool toned for this?

Icon is a gorgeous peachy pinkish coral color. It goes on very sheer and makes smaller eyes (like mine) appear bigger. It has just a little bit of shimmer in it, but not too much for it to look trashy. Lovely color! Would def buy again.

This is a pretty light peach/pink shade with lots of shimmer. It is actually similar to MAC's All that Glitter, so if you have that, you do not need to bother with Icon. The texture of the eyeshadow is creamy and smooth but you should also be aware of the fall out. I use it as an everyday eyeshadow with Kitten in the inner corners and it really brightens my eyes. I really hate the Stila packaging though and I demand a proper eyeshadow case when I pay so much money for a single eyeshadow.

I just got this eyeshadow for 4 dollars and nordstrom's rack and it was well worth it. Although you may not be as lucky as me you can buy it for full price and I think it would be worth it. Stila eyeshadows are huge and feel sooooooo soft. They have some of the nicest texture shadows out there. The texture of this shadow is nice but not as smooth as most Stila shadows. It is a pink neautral color. It looks almost identical to MAC's All That Glitters only Icon has slighty more pink to it which I love! I would definently buy this again but i don't think that will be for a while.

I really love this shadow! I can use it as a base, a crease, or alone, depending on the look I'm going for. It's very shimmery, but I find it gives more of a glowy look than a sparkly one. I like to pair it with a soft, matte brown, such as the right side of NARS Madrague. It makes my blue eyes look so pretty!

I really love this golden, pinky, high-shimmer shadow. The texture is so soft and workable, and just a little goes a long, long way.
I often apply with a clean fingertip and press it onto my lashline area, which gives my eye instant *pop*. I would never use it as an allover wash, because it's too shimmery for that type of use IMO. I have dark olive skin and so this really shows up for me, but the golden undertones make this a huge winner for me, as opposed to the chalky-frosty look of "kitten" on me, which i hated.
This is a great staple, but definitely keep in mind that the shimmer is almost "glitter" - it definitely is not subtle. If you are older and/or looking for a very understated eye, this would probably not be the best choice. But for me, it's great.

While this shade is certainly pretty, it's not unique and I don't think it looks that great on me. I'm an olive FFF and this is just a tad too warm for my skin. Very shimmery bordering on glittery but doesn't irritate my contacts like some of UD's shades. On my skin it looks like a gold-pink and loses all peachiness.

Almost consider this a richer, glittery version of Cassia which is one of my Stila mainstays. Great for a pretty, but more glamorous eye. I put this on on the morning and by the end of the day it looks exactly like it did when I first applied it with no wayward glimmery bits!

This is my latest Stila eyeshadow acquisition and I think I've worn it everyday for the last fortnight! As usual, the texture, pigment and staying power is excellent. I love the colour - a more pinky version of kitten with the right amount of shimmer. I can wear it with no other make up other than a swipe of mascara and it bightens up my face. Looks best over the top of a light wash colour - champagne and starlight seem to work the best. Very pretty colour.

Icon reminds me so much of the majority of UD shadows with the overabundance of microglitter. Don't get me wrong the color is gorgeous and wearable but you must take into account that you will also be wearing the glitter all day as well...and it ends up everywhere. I would describe Icon as a shimmery peach with subtle pink tones that is very overall pretty and subtle on my skintone (GGG/DDD). I would not repurchase this because of the loose, soft texture and the doggone microglitter.

Icon is a shimmery peach with the slightest pink hint to it. Super pretty. Nicely pigmented, super silky and glides on smoothly. Retails for $14 for the pan or $16 for a silver cardboard container.

Me: Cool toned PPP with brown highlighted hair and brown eyes.
I got Icon sight unseen in a swap. Boy, I'm glad I did! Icon is a very beautiful color. It's a peachy shimmery shade that reminds me of a pink-ier Kitten, and without tons of frost. I use it as an all over wash, and it does a great job. I apply it with a MAC 224 brush and it just looks like my lid sparkles. Lovely!

Too warm for me - gives me pink eye. I look like I've been crying. Lovely quality, but awful on me.

The color of this shadow reminds me of a blush wine. It is a light pinky-peach with shimmer and a little glitter/sparkle too. It has good pigmentation meaning it actually shows up on my lids (unlike heather or rhyme).

Shimmery peachy pink which is a great base color for most e/s.
Really pretty & versatile-not as much shimmer as kitten

Icon is actually a unique shade to the Stila line, something I haven't seen for awhile. It is a light to medium peachy-pink with a hint of beige. Now, if that sounds like Kitten, hold on a sec: unlike Kitten, Icon does not have the frostiest frost that ever frosted. Because of all the frost, Kitten appeared whitish/ashy on me. Icon does not. Icon does, however, have a fine microglitter that loves to flake all over the place, so you might want to apply it using a damp brush. The microglitter isn't really silver or gold; but I'm warm-toned and it suits me fine. I'd say Icon is rather similar to MAC Naked Lunch, except a bit peachier, less beige, and more garish, due to the microglitter. It's not exactly a subtle/natural effect, but it works as a lid/highlight shade.

This is the lightest shade from the Fierce Taupe Palette, some might be happy to learn that this isn't nearly as soft in texture as when it's in the Palette, I personally prefer it a little softer.Icon is a shimmery dusty pink with peachy undertones. I usually use something like Starlight up toward my brow for a wash and Icon from the crease down, as it's not the best shade for an all-over wash on me (warm PPP), unless I'm using it for a smoky eye in conjunction with the darker shades in the Taupe Palette. Overall, I would definately buy this shade again simply because it's pretty and versatile.
