This is my HG lipcolor and almost the only one I use. I buy it three or four at a time so I won't be caught short when/if they discontinue it (that's happened to me several times before when I find a color I love, so I'm a bit skittish!). It feels lovely on and lasts a reasonable amount of time. It definitely won't work for every skintone, but it is just the natural nude color that works with my fair-medium complexion. It allows me to wear lipstick without looking too 'made up'.

I was so disappointed in this color! It's about the same color as my natural skin so if I put it on, my lips seem to disappear like I have none at all. The name is deceiving, beige shimmer, what shimmer? There is none! I like the lipstick besides that though, it is very moisturizing and I love that it plumps, has retinol, and SPF! I just might try other colors or try to exchange this one. It just doesn't work well with my skin tone.

my mom gave this to me because she didn't like how the color looked on her. I, however, like it. I think the formula is pretty nice, even though I don't need any lip plumping at 19 years old. I think it's a really good nude lip color for fair skin! and with some clear gloss on top it would really look awesome!

I have to say, I am not familiar with Avon products. I was estimating that for the inexpensive price of this lipstick, I would get what I paid for-an average lipstick at best. But I was sooo wrong! This lipstick definitely holds it own against more expensive lipsticks. It has a very smooth texture, glides on easily, moisturizes relatively well, and the color is the perfect beigey-nude (not too yellow, pink, gray, or other tones you encounter when searching for that HG nude). It works really well with my dark brown hair and light olive complexion. In regard to the lip plumping, I definitely notice some slight plumping action, and although I don't really need it, I can see the difference. The only minor complaint is that this doesn't really last as long as some of my other lipsticks do. Nonetheless, I find myself reaching for this pretty often, much more than I thought I would. If you want a nice neutral color, a satin finish, some moisturizing and slight plumping effects (and you don't mind the occasional reapplication), this might be the product for you!

Great nude color. Creamy, lasting formula. Doesn't dry your lips and has a nice sunscreen - SPF15. I have very fair skin and this neutral shade works perfectly with my skin tone. I do think this shade would work on any skin tone.

I loved this - both the formula and the color. I also got it as a GWP but am about to buy a replacment - they're currently on sale at half off.
