This fragrance is most definitely not for everyone. If you prefer light, floral, citrus, or sweet fragrances, I would highly recommend that you try a sample of this before you think of investing in an bottle of Prada. That being said, I absolutely love this fragrance (and the matching body lotion)! I am a huge fan of patchouli, and deep, earthy scents, and this fits that bill for me just beautifully. If I had to describe it, I would say that it is a very rich, earthy, and strong fragrance. On me, one spray goes a long way, and it lasts so long that I can even smell it on my clothes for a day or two after wearing it. Very well worth the price, in my book.

Received this from a lovely swapper and it is quite nice. On my skin it smells unisex but also soft and surprisingly sweet (not sugary or vanillic) and even a smidge citrus. Prada amber is not as balmy or spicy as I was expecting which is a nice alternative to the usual spice-bomb amber recipes and a welcome addition to my amber frag collection. The patchouli (probably equal in relevance as the amber) adds an earthy touch, like clean sand (not beach sand) after a light rain. Takes me to a place similar to Montale Patchouli Leaves.

This is not a scent I deem sexy, or intriguing. It quite honestly reminds me of the horrid "old lady" scents. I was given a mini of this as a gift and I tried my best to like it but have worn it only twice. Perhaps it may mix well with someone else's body/skin chemistry but it's a little too dull for me. Upon reading the notes I admired the musky and spicy, yet feminine description but that isn't really what I would describe it as. Just after applying it's overbearingly strong, then quickly fades off. The staying power was rather poor especially considering the price. Would not repurchase!

This truly is awful (on me anyway) starts off with the smell of celery and warms to become a cleaning fluid sort of hospital antiseptic smell along the lines of Savlon or dettol. Might be my chemistry but even in the bottle not on my skin it smells that way.

My GOD does this perfume reek! I generally don't appreciate people writing reviews on perfumes that they have no reason to like. I mean, if you only wear citrus or woodsy perfumes, and hate the smell of jasmine, your review of Bvlgari Jasmine probably will be neither useful nor appreciated. So I confess that I generally like floral oriental, floral woody and floral oriental scents while this might just be plain oriental. That being said.....I HAVE liked similar fragrances in the past. My ex-boyfriend got me this and it was a harbinger of things to come as many more horrible presents were in my future. I smelled it and POW! Rarely has a scent repulsed me as much. I couldn't even wear it around him as a gesture. It is an attack on my olfactory senses.

This is my signature scent and my all-time favorite. Of all the perfumes I've had and tested (300+) this stands out as the most interesting, unique and wearable at the same time. I just fell for it head over heels for this one after (funny enough) initially disliking it.

Blah perfume. I was never complimented on this and I finished a whole bottle. I can't even remember the scent thinking back because it somehow managed to be unique/odd yet utterly unremarkable. It smells, but it doesn't smell *good*. My shampoo gets more raves scent-wise. If this didn't have the prada name no-one would be interested in it.

Purchased this smell un smelt, on a target giftcard online. I'm not sure if they marked it wrong or what, but it was 76$ for the refillable 2.7 oz bottle w/ atomizer, which goes for 115$ other places.
Anyway, at first, i felt like i was forcing myself to like it out of my unwavering admiration for prada's designs, and love for the bottle itself! But I truly do like this. I am far from an oriental girl, i wore chaos for a week or two, but other than that i do more florals....
i think that this perfume would be odd on a young adult. i am 27, and i think i can carry it, but i am freakishly confident and self assured. it's great. haven't been complimented on it. Plan on layering this over a milk and honey body lotion for an extra hint of creaminess, which IMHO would put this in a whole new sphere of fabulousness.

I love this scent. I like the musky and spicy quality found here. I also like that it isn't overly feminine and sickly sweet. However, I have to admit that I am fond of woody fragrances, specifically those that contain chypre. My one complaint is that Prada seems to smell the same on everyone. Many of my friends have complimented me on this fragrance and I don't mind sharing with my friends. It smells absolutely the same on all of us. I am fortunate that not all of my friends don't love this fragrance as much as I do, but I guess I kind of miss old school fragrances that actually changed based on body chemistry.
I therefore deducted one lippie based on the above and one lippies for the poor lasting power. Prada costs too much to last only an hour or two. I will probably re-purchase until I find the perfect scent for me.

A nice oriental perfume. It has good staying power . Though I like it , I don't like it enough to go crazy for it and buy a full bottle.

I absolutely adore this scent. I first had the packaging with the old fashioned atomizer, and when I was about half way done with the perfume, it started to leak some reason. Product was getting stuck in the part of the atomizer that you squeeze. I returned it for the one with normal packaging. I love it :]
My mother and sister have since then bought it for themselves.

Woody, spicy, sensual. Definitely for a woman -- not a girl! On me, it is very long-lasting.

WOW - does this STINK! I got it as part of Sephora's set of mini's and thought it would be fab, as the bottle is soo cute. I dabbed a bit on and instantly was hit with the stale head shop sandalwood/patchouli stink. Headache and stomachache immediately followed. I couldn't get this scrubbed off and ended up dousing my wrist with rubbing alcohol to kill the scent. Kudos on staying power. So I dumped it out and kept the cute bottle...might as well get some good out of it!

My advice is try before you buy it,spray it on and wait a couple of hours to see if you like it.I agree with the others reviewers that said that this have and awful smell. To be totally honest is the worst perfume I have ever tried,it make me feel sick and gave me a headache and I tried to wash it off but the smell wouldn't go. It smells too strong, too powdery....I don't know how to describe the scent but it don't smell good on my skin. For me it smells like an old perfume; but my sister who is 25 likes this very much, that's why I recommend that if you are thinking about buying it, try it first , because I know this is a popular perfume and some people like it very much.

Very sad to say that this perfume smells AWFUL on my skin. Moments after it's sprayed onto my skin, there is an awful synthetic note and then it smells like body odour :( And that note lasts all day! I had to scrub it off. It's one of the worst-smelling perfumes on me EVER.

Before the drydown, this reminds me so much of Shalimar, maybe more so of Shalimar Light ...but for me, I like Prada so much more. There is no smokiness, no hint of leather that I get with Shalimar. The vanilla, the patchouli and sandlewood, and the raspberry evolve on my skin...very feminine. I can't keep my nose away from my wrist.

Wow, this stuff reeks of the '80s, but I kind of like it in a nostalgic sort of way. It reminds me of all the cast-off perfumes my mom used to give me when I was a kid. It's definitely not something I would buy, but I would probably wear this if this were given to me as a gift or I could find it really, really cheap. :)

Love this scent for everyday. It's one of the only fragrances I wear where folks (men and women) ask what I'm wearing. One guy actually stood next to me and said he wanted to stand next to me all night just b/c I smelled so good! Never had that with a fragrance before.
It's light (only lasts 3-4 hours on me), but spicy, amber-y to wear year-round IMHO.

On my skin, this by far gets the award for the worst, "QUICK--SCRUB IT OFF" perfume of the century.
When I first took the cap out of the mini, I was hit with a sharp blast of acrid something or other--couldn't identify it. It literally burned my nose. I know you can't always go by the first note, so I put a little on my wrist. The sharp blast continued and continued. It stank so badly--never smelled anything that horrid in my life.
My hat is off to you girls who can smell good in this one!!!!

The bottle I tried on said I could expect to smell Amber, Benzoin, Patchouli, Labdanum and Sandalwood. The notes I find on-line list all sorts of gorgeous citrus and spice, florals and resins. What do I get? Amber and Patchouli. A brief, opening flirt with other notes fades rapidly to nasty, sharp patchouli of the dirty kind. It's terrible, and, as nasty sharp patchouli does on me automatically it WON'T GO AWAY. I can't get it off. I'm sitting here typing in a funk of awful. This is why I complain about patchouli: It can be such a supportive note, adding depth and mystery to a fragrance, and then you turn around and it smells like grave dirt. This is the later kind. If I ever want to smell this again, I'll hit the head-shop for a dollar bottle of rancid patchouli oil, thanks. This one fails utterly on my skin.
