Why oh why did they discontinue this product?
When I was at high school and had the hormonal outbreaks this always saved the day and my highschool year photo too.

In the UK this hasn't been on shelves in years, I get the chance to pick it up in France when over there as it's still on sale, but it's way better than any solid founations like Max Factors Pan Stik or Magic Touch. They need to redistribute this!!

I absolutely love this stuff. I am really particular about I put on my face because I have acne-prone skin. I was so sad that I couldn't use MAC Studio Fix daily because I love the coverage--just not the pimples that come afterwards. So I bought this and used it for everyday occassions (work, school) and it works great! The coverage is nearly identical with the coverage I get from MAC, but with minial breakouts (there is still some). It is a simple stick, and the texture is slightly dry, but still creamy. If you have normal or drier skin, I would recommend the regular 3-in-1, without the antishine. So because my skin is slightly oily, this product never makes my skin flaky. It works great and this has made my top 10 must-haves. It's also very simple and easy to use. Just swipe it on and use (clean) fingers or a foundation brush to blend!

I used this years ago in college, when I didn't know much about makeup and liked the convenience of the three-in-one formula that was touted on the packaging. I found the texture to be both greasy-thick and powdery, with the odd result that it was good at spackling pores, but tended to slide right off pimples or scars. Medium-heavy coverage, though layering it wasn't easy unless my face was perfect: slightly damp but neither oily nor flaky (flakes would be emphasized). The wear wasn't very good: it would look nice for a few hours but needed a midday touch-up and lots of powdering throughout the day (NB: I did have oily skin back then).

In sum: a thoroughly mediocre product. I don't miss it. I'm just sad that I didn't know there were better options out there back then.

I just realized that this is Holy Grail for me--I've been using it for years, as part of my everyday or in a rush makeup, taking it for granted. I like it as much as pricier label stick foundations, and it's much cheaper! The antishine version is for those with oily skin--it gives a dry powder finish, but you'll still need powder eventually. If you're dry, use the other one!
This is so great at covering the red areas of my face, just dab on and blend a bit. I use natural beige in winter and sand in the summer on my medium yellow skin.
Is this discontinued? Harder to find in stores now.

If i was ever out of the normal 3-in-1 express id get this one.

The only thing i dont like about it is it is a bit too drying for use in winter when my skin is not very oily at all - also the little 'balls' in the cream scratch a little during application.
Besides that, nice coverage, texture and colour

I actually really like this product. I used to have really bad acne, and i used this to cover up the redness. I don't have acne anymore, so I just use this on some flaws here and there. You should be well moisturized before you use this, and once you are, you only need to use a little bit to cover up spots, or else it will look cakey. True, if your skin is flaky, this product will definately enhance the flakiness. However, skin should be well moistureized in the first place for healthyskin. The Nude shade matches my skin perfectly, being that I am a light-medium asian. The shade and price is probably the main reason I have stuck with it for about four years now. If you have dry skin, or need a lot of coverage in many areas of your face, then maybe this product isn't for you.

My biggest gripe with this product is that it really accentuates any flakes or unevenness in skin texture you may have. It highlighted flakey skin I didn't even know I had! Also, the packaging is cheap and crappy looking.

I've been using this for a month after and like this better than the non-antishine version. It's matte and doesn't cake at all. I use it as a concealer for blemishes. I think it's too thick for under eye and for foundation. Very happy that it has spf now too.

Its creamy and light...and stays on for hours. I love the ease of application and convience. I'm normally Ivory in everything...but bought this in Buff for a added little color...it blended well and didnt turn orange. Will repurchase again.

I used to use this product every day for over a year, mostly due to being NOT makeup savvy and its quick application/ease of use (This was the first foundation I ever used).

In regards to shine, it does a better job than its original version, however, I still noticed being shiny during the day, even when using a powder.

This foundation is too creamy in my opinion, I never notice it really setting into the "powder" form. It rubs off WAY too easily.

This foundation is really convenient and easy to apply, and provides good coverage, but can easily look unnatural due to it showing flaky or uneven skin (non-exfoliated) and just looking creamy on the face.

For your money, there are better products to try. I recently tried Pure Makeup, and like it much better. I'd really only recommend this to someone who is new to makeup and doesn't want to hassle with much, and to someone who doesn't have problem skin.

Actually, this product is pretty good for a drugstore brand! I used it for all throughout my college years. Its texture is a mixture of creamy/dry, but not oily like other stick foundations (proving that it has mattifying effect). I found the perfect match in shade - Nude- and it goes on pretty smooth and blends right into my skin. The stick is soo nice and convenient to use because I don't need to apply it to whole face, just wherever I need it. I use it along with MAC's Blot powder.

Of course, my nose/face still gets shiny after awhile (no product can solve this problem), but it's not too bad at all with the help of blotting papers. I recently decided to try MAC and Shiseido powder foundations to see if they can control oil/shine better. Surprisingly, those don't work as well, and I think it's because powder foundations kind of fades away after several hours. I think this foundation does help in controlling oil/shine b/c its thicker consistency stays put and blocks oil from seeping through. Not bad at all!

Well, I usually buy the Maybelline Shine-Free liquid foundation in "Golden". I thought I would give this a try, I could not find it in the "Golden" shade so I got "Natural Beige". I will say I love that it is a stick and the texture of it. The coverage was not good enough for me and this could be cause I did not get the "Golden" shade. This did not control shine very well either. I still applied some Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder over the top, and still did not get the results I wanted. I will finish using this somehow and will not buy it again.

Love the texture and the ease of the stick. Light and does help with shine, but i find pressed powder better for shine control. Not the best on dryish skin

Bad, bad foundation. I bought this because I thought the stick application would be quick and easy. It is, but that just means I get to the shiny face part of my day that much faster and didn't waste extra steps doing it. Ivory matched well, but that doesn't make up for the fact that this makes my face into an oil slick after an hour or two, even with powder. Glad I saved my receipt with this one.

What else is there to say? Don't waste your money.

i also have trouble with buying foundation....its either too light or dark, oily etc......but, this was a compulsive buy and i am impressed with it. it tends to be a bit dry and wont blend well on skin. i warm it up by rubbing my finger over the foundation stick and it becomes creamy and makes it easier to blend. it does wonders on my undereye circles. will buy again.

I used to use this in my teen years. Boy, do I know better now. This stuff accentuates my flakies SO bad, and it turned into a nasty oil slick in 2 hours despite being "anti-shine". I used this to spot-conceal and on my nose, but as a spreadable foundation, this sucked as well. Too dry, looked like you caked on the foundation. Nay, nay, nay on this one! There are much better alternatives out there!

I have been given this foundation stick in Shade Buff wich is too dark for my winter complexion. I like the texture, very easy to "spread" evenly on my face, with my fingers or with a sponge.
This make my skin very soft and looks naturel (no cakey at all).
The coverage is medium, you can't use it like a concealer or to hide blemishes!

An overall good stick foundation. reminds me a lot of L'oreal Quickstick. I wish the shade was lighter...

Gosh, I don't even know where to start with this product. I know that I am particular, and if you read my reviews I have pretty high product expectations, yet, I am certain this product totally made me break out and caused tons of bumps on my face. I thought that maybe it wasn't worth it to spend more on deptartment store brands, but now after doing this little experiment, I know that I will be going back to more expensive brands. DO NOT USE THIS product if you are likely to break out. It takes a long time to undue the damage it causes---imagine all the blackheads that have to clear after using this for a couple of weeks. A TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!

First of all, this make-up made me realise I am allergic to Maybelline products. Not badly, just kind of hot and itchy. But apart from that, this foundation was hopeless anyway. It might be useful and fast, but whats the point of saying its 'antishine' when it really isn't. I don't have oily skin normally, but as soon as I wore this, it made my skin all oily and MORE shiny. I don't think it had anything to do with my allergy, as my sister has used it and got the same thing (and she isn't allergic).
