This is an HG product for me. When I first started using it, I didn't know if it was doing anything. When I ran out, I really found out how amazing this product is! I have oily, dehydrated and acne prone skin. This product keeps me completly acne free, as long as I use it everyday.

I love this toner. I used to use cheap skincare products, and wondered why I had such horrible clogged skin. I switched to Mario Badescu cleansers, and switched from an alcohol-based cheap toner to this, and what a difference.
I was at first concerned that this would not "tone" my skin the way I wanted - since you firmly press it into your skin with fingertips instead of using a cotton ball, I was worried it wouldn't pick up what dirt my cleansers left behind, but perhaps in the combination of cleanser + toner that I am now using, that is not the case.
I have noticed my skin is dramatically less oily. I used to re-apply my foundation powder (BareEscentuals mineral powder) because my skin would get shiny half-way through the day. No longer do I need to do this.
I like the bottle and pump. I use 2-3 sprays to cover my face then press it in with my hands. I use this morning and night and will be buying it again once my current bottle runs out.
Using this Yon-Ka toner along with Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel and an alternation between Mario Badescu glycolic foaming cleanser (AM) and Osea Ocean Cleansing Mudd (PM) has DRAMATICALLY cleared my skin and unclogged my pores.
I haven't experienced any drying from any of these products either. My skin is happily hydrated and clearing wonderfully.

The smell is sooo relaxing. Its a good way to start the day. It doesn't dry out my skin, nor does it leave me feeling oily afterwards. It leaves a nice fresh feeling that stays with you for a while. And while the visible results aren't "magical", I can tell it does have an effect on refining pores.

All I can say is wow! This is by far the best toner I've ever used, no joke. the scent is very herbal and relaxing. I have acne prone skin and since I've started using this, my skin has gotten much clearer. I think it has some kind of antiseptic ingredient which inhibits bacteria. But anyways, I'll definitely be repurchasing. And you can also re-use the bottle when it's finished.

This is a really great toner. Its a fine mist that you can either spray lightly onto your face or you can put some onto a cotton wool ball and sweep over skin. I find it very soothing and leaves no film at all! It helps kkep me from looking too shiny in the day as it seems to slightly mattify without drying my skin out. Great stuff!

Love love love this! Comes in a huge glass bottle with the best spray nozzle I've ever come across - sprays a long fine mist evenly in one go. It smells herby and looks like watery milk. I've been applying this on my face with a cotton wool pad (spray over face first, then blott the excess into the skin as directions suggest), and my skins noticeably softer, smoother and less oily too. I still get the odd blemish here and there, but it definately has done the job of refining my pores, hence my blackheads are retreating. It is expensive, but the bottle is the queen of quality.

Okay. There must me crack in this stuff, because it is insanely addictive. I will admit that I don't notice that it does anything for my skin, but it smells soooooooooooooooo good. It's supposed to balance your skin's pH levels, but I have no idea if it does or not. I just want to smell like this stuff all the time. Once the spray dries on my skin I can't smell anything, which makes me sad because I actually want to smell like this stuff all day haha. So, all in all, even if it doesn't do anything significant for my skin (the reason for taking a lippy off), it definitely does no harm and it makes me feel good and lasts quite a while, therefore I don't feel guilty repurchasing. :)

The best smelling product I have ever used!!!!!!! I am obsessed with the way this product smells. I can't describe it other than essential oils and loveliness. This product is not meant to cure acne or other problems. It is meant to balance skin's pH and help to normalize skin in conjunction with other products. The smell alone creates a sense of well-being for me (I know it sounds corny, but it's true!). I also use it all throughout the day to freshen my face and make-up. My favorite make-up trick is to spray this in my clean hands and pat on my face after applying make-up. It just helps to set your make-up and give you that fresh, dewey look. And I have a small bottle of this to keep in my purse so I can spray all day, on airplanes, in the car, wherever!! Even if I switch skin care lines I will probably always buy this product! Love it, love it, love it!!!!!

doesn't really help out with acne prone skin...but i don't use it for my acne. (for acne, i use acv at night) i use it for my well-being. i spray the milky goodness in a fine mist and i instantly feel clean and fresh in the morning. it's the smell that i'm addicted to. i use it right after i cleanse with their gel and pat pat pat. (read review--i like both for similar reasons) and later mix with my foundation. i'm at my second bottle and will repurchase. and the bottle is reusable. i put in my fresh ginseng tonic seawater toner...yon-ka was better. hence the second bottle

I really like this toner. It smells wonderful and is basically a blend of the Yonka 5 essential oil blend. Supposedly you can also use it to refresh your makeup. You spray onto face, pat lightly, and dust some powder on it. I've tried and... got mixed results. Anyway, for its use as a toner, I love it. It really does help control oil. It's not supposed to do anything for acne in that it's not a product specifically for use as an acne treatment. I sprayed the toner, then used my moisturizer and for the rest of the day my skin was more matte than usual. It still got oily, but not as much and not so soon either. I did start a new using a new moisturizer so I thought it was that that was keeping me so matte, but then the next day, I used the moisturizer with a different toner and I was my same oily self, so I know it was the toner. I love the idea of using the bottle for something else when I'm done with the bottle. It's also really refreshing to use in the middle of the day when it's hot. I'd like to think that when I spray it in the middle of the day, it would help blot/absorb the oil, but I'm not sure if that's true. It just feels really nice!

Definitely not for oily skin. Like the previous reviewer said it just smelled nice and that's it. I used up the whole bottle but I still have acne and oily skin. Now I use the bottle for the biore triple action astrigent. On the other hand it is a refreshing mist for the face during those hot days if you don't like those water spray.

I had never used toners before this because most of them have a high alcohol content that can irritate my sensitive skin. When I got a facial at my local spa the women recommended this with the other Yonka products she used. What really sold me on this was that it was alcohol free. I have been using it for about a month and I can really see a difference in my skin when I use this product. My T zone doesn't get shiny as quickly when I use this. I also love the smell of this product. I probaly would buy it just for the smell even if it didn't help my skin. I will repurchase.

I first tried this in a trail size and fell in love with it. Its a great toner and does not strip your skin one bit. Plus its a good size bottle even though its kinda of expensive. Its about the only thing I can use for my acne type skin other than discovery.

I love this. I use it AT LEAST twice a day, and sometimes just because. It smells great, something between the spa and dinner; the 5EO blend smells just like chicken seasoning, I'm weird. I haven't noticed any film on my face after using this, and I sometimes just spray my face with it when I need to relax (reminds me of the spa/dinner)

I love Yonka lotion for normal to oily skin. It feels refreshing and smells wonderful. It is expensive but worth the price. On hot days I like to put in my refrigerator and spray on my face.

I have to disagree with the other reviewers! This is a spray-on toner, alcohol-free, no artificial fragrances, based on a combination of 5 essential oils that Yon-Ka uses in all its products. So it smells fabulous, but the oils are therapeutic, not just cosmetic. For me, this is very refreshing, lightly moisturizing (but did not leave a 'film' on me), and balancing. The essential oils in it (lavender, rosemary, cypress, thyme, and geranium) have anti-bacterial, sebum-balancing, and decongestive properties. My skin just feels rejuvenated and calm whenever I use it. Haven't been using it long enough to say how much it regulates oil production, but so far so good. A very unique product!

This did nothing for my skin except to leave a gross film on it and to make me break out. Ick.

This was billed as a lighweight moisturizer for oily skin types. It has a white cloudy color with a water texture and is packaged in a glass spray pump. The pump sprays out a gentle mist, which is quite refreshing. I was told by the sales rep where I purchased this product that it would keep my skin matte, warding off the oil slick I usually battle with on my T-zone combination skin. After three weeks It made no noticeable change on my skin. The only statement that did prove true was that I would love the smell. It has a wonderful spa like smell, sort of woodsy Aveda like, but not masculine, just very soothing. On a hot or stressful day this would be nice to spray on your face, but not for the price. If you think you would enjoy spending $27.00 on what is basically preety smelling water be my geust. Otherwise save your money for something that works.
