I had originally purchased this lotion around Christmas 2004, and I have LOVED it ever since. Smells absolutely heavenly, and the scent lasts long too. I am so sad they discontinued it. I managed to find some on eBay,and have since purchased some. The smell is a little different from what I remember, but what do you expect from a nearly 5 year old product? But I'm so glad to have more lotion! This stuff = loooovveee.

Another gift I received for Christmas. Love this!! I have always tended to shy away from vanilla scents as most are too fake and/or foody for me but this is a nice one! Not overpowering, dries down to a soft, fresh vanilla scent that lingers but not overwhelmingly so.
The lotion is thin enough to easily apply and sinks in quickly. Never feels greasy or oily. It softens and moistures my skin very well. I especially like to use this on my legs after shaving.

Surprisingly disappointing. I am completely mad about most things Tutti Dolci, especially the Sugar Wafer line. I loved the EDT and shower gel in the same scent and figured it was only right if I felt the same way about the body lotion. Unfortunately, while it DOES smell absolutely delicious in the bottle, a truly intoxicating blend of vanilla, coconut and powdered sugar, the scent morphs into something akin to burnt plastic on my skin. The Sugar Wafer body souffle is much better in that regard as the scent stays true to its name. However, I do find that layering the lotion with a subtle vanilla fragrance does wonders at masking the plasticky scent. And on the plus side, the smell doesn't last too long, usually fading away within the first 10 minutes of application. I'm giving the lotion 3 lippies because I really like the texture and consistency. The light yet thick fluffy whipped lotion feels extremely pampering and luxurious. It's also packed chockful of moisturizing goodies for your skin. The almond and olive oils work wonderfully to leave skin soft, supple and very smooth. It also sinks in well without leaving any greasy residue. Overall, this is an above-average lotion which I'd probably have given top marks had the scent not morphed into that awful play-doh smell. I usually buy all my Tutti Dolci bodycare in bulk but the Sugar Wafer lotion is one I'll be giving a miss in the future. Oh well.

A great vanilla fragrance! When I wear this with my Warm Vanilla Sugar splash, I smell like a walking sugar cookie. The thickness of this lotion makes it a great moisturizer. BBW should have really found a way to lower the price on Tutti Dolci, or else we may have been able to keep it longer.

This is one of my fave scents ever! DH likes it too! A vanilla wafer cookie-like scent, but not too rich and sweet...just right! The texture is great, and it sinks in pretty well, and moisturizes well. I prefer using it a bedtime, b/c during the day, I prefer a very sheer moisturizer like OPI Avojuice or something that leaves NOTHING behind, BUT this is great! :o)

I love Tutti Dolci Lotions & IDK why one earth B&BW discountinued them! Sugar Wafer smells really good, like a creamy vanilla wafer w/ a sllliiighttt hint of coconut. The lotion moisturizes really well & the smells lingers all day long, I will def buy if it shows up at the sale, I would say this comes third best in the TD lotions ( Angel Food Cake in 1st & Lemon Meringue in 2nd)

I wanted to try this line so I bought the lotion, wash & lip gloss at BBW.
I bought this lotion because I really liked the smell: it's sort of soft sugary vanilla. The scent does change once I put it on, not crazy it about it but it still does smell sweet & like a cookie. What I do like about this lotion is that with a few uses after maybe 4 or 5 if did leave my skin visibly smoother & radiant. I think it might be the olive oil the company claims they add to this lotion. I would not buy again because of the scent but because it moisturizes my wintry skin well. Will try other scents though....

I recommend that you actually try this product on your skin before purchasing. Like several other reviewers, I found that the delicious scent turned absolutely rancid on me.

SA gave me this at half off during the sale, even though it wasn't supposed to be! Anyhow, I think it smells wonderful when I sniff it straight out of the bottle, but on my skin it changes somewhat. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it's almost a coconutty/almondy/nutty sort of note or something. It still smells good, but I prefer the scent in the bottle more. Still, it's yummy enough to keep around.

Love this lotion! Smells so good, sweet buttery vanilla, almost a bit nutty even. Good texture, medium thickness, the scent lingers all day. I could dive into a pool of this product and frolic.

This has a great sugary scent with vanilla mixed in. Scent is nice but not overpowering. I love wearing it at night when you want that warm, cozy feel. The texture of the lotion is nice as well. Not greasy at all. Absorbs quickly and moisturizes well. Will definitely repurchase this!

To me, this seems to be the lightest scent out of the whole Tutti Dolci line. It's not as foody as angel food cake either. That said, I do like the scent, but I wish it was stronger. It lasts a fair amount of time on me however. It does moisturize nicely.

i love this sugar wafer lotion!!(even better than its souffle counterpart cuz this smells better!!) not as moisturizing as the souffle but it still does the trick. i like reapplying this anyways. smells like a sweet sugar cone, yum! bit pricey, but worth it i guess.

I love this lotion. I've always wanted to wear vanilla and this is just the scent for me. Most vanilla scents are too sharp, but this one suits me just fine.

I wanted to try something from the Tutti Dolci line - my first choice was the crème wash but after sniffing all the scents I choose Sugar Wafer for the lovely light, sweet vanilla smell. It was foody, but not to the point where it was screaming "EAT ME!" (which I tend to shy away from in bath/body products). Since they were out of the crème wash in Sugar Wafer, I plunked down my $14 for the lotion. My 6 year old son ended up trying it before I did as his hands were super dry and this is what happened to be closest to us. He loved the lotion and it smelled divine on him. We both kept sniffing his hands - seriously yummy! I tried it on myself and it smelled really nasty. It took on some sort of weird fake pine smell with hints of plastic and slight tones of sugar. Horrid! I've tired it a couple more times and had the scent turn into the same gross smell each and every time. I have also been unimpressed with this products ability to hydrate my skin. I have only used it on my arms which are normal type skin and the lotion is absorbed within seconds and doesn't leave my skin feeling any softer, smoother or moisturized in the least.
For $14, I expect more; I'll be making this into a return.

Blech! Smelled okay in the store but awful when I bought it. This went back to BBW and the money went to their lovely semi-annual sale. :)

I like this scent, but it is not my fave of the Tutti Dolci line. I do love vanilla scents, however, and this is a pretty good one. It is a light scent, but a sweet true vanilla sniff none the less. I just wish it was a little stronger, maybe. It seems to me this scent might layer well, & that kind of versatility is nice.
I like the Tutti Dolci line better than the orginal B&BW line, I think, because the lotions seem to be a bit more moisturing & definitely more indulgent! I hope this line becomes a permanent staple in the B&BW stores!
