I really enjoy wearing, I notice it never seems to offend others. When I apply this scents it makes me feel bright and cheerful...light flowers with grapefruit..and a touch of mango sweetness.

I tend to love all perfumes for what they are, even if they're meant to mimic tarnish or rhubarb, funeral homes, laundry detergent, or play dough. But, I sincerely do not understand how anyone could like this! It is possible that I was exposed to a bad batch, but for such a mass-produced perfume, I doubt it. I did notice that both Sephora and Ulta store a lot of their fragrances under warm lights and/or in direct sunlight, and I KNOW that warps the oils in the mixture. But I have been exposed to this fragrance throughout my lifetime, and have come to this conclusion: This is the Splenda of perfumes. It says "i'm wearing perfume" in that bug spray kind of way. It just smells like some sort of burnt chalky, slightly sweet powder mixed with atomized alcohol. Tropical? Absolutely not. Good? Not even close. Do I suggest it? Not to my worst enemy. Do yourself, and others, a favor and try something that isn't so obviously composed of synthetic chemicals.

all the reviews I read tell me how fruity this is, and I am looking for a fruity scent. This is SO floral it was just....ewwww. Not what I was looking for at all.

Love floraly light scents, and I enjoy this one very much. Not overpowering at all. Won't repurchase because I have a lot of perfumes to finish!

Meh. Not offensive. Mildly pleasant 'tropical' scent with no personality, succulence or point of interest.

Of all the Pleasures line, this one is my favorite. From descriptions, I expected an overly sweet, cloying tropical scent. However, I find this to have the right amount of sweet, green and tart notes, while being fresh and clean at the same time. It definitely has the distinct "Pleasures" scent, but overlaid by tropical summer. This is an extremely perfect scent on me; it stays fairly true from beginning to end, without any weird dry down. I get a good strong note of mango; this is not citrus to me, it's pure tropical.

Wow - sniffing this from the bottle is like getting a super strong smack in the face of fruit juice! But it's a bit more wearable than I would've anticipated. I had a bottle of this a couple of summers ago, and although it's pretty powerful stuff, it has a breezy quality to it that, if used sparingly, is evocative of tropical beaches and mango cocktails. Men seem to go gaga for it as well - a remember a friends boyfriend telling me I smelled like holiday, before asking if he could spritz a little on his back pack so he could sniff it all day!

Pleasures Exotic is just as the name implies, it has many exotic floral notes and is mostly a fruity floral fragrance. I don't care for it too much, it smells a bit synthetic and overpowering.

My ALL TIME favourite :) My love. Reminds me of when my current boyfriend and I first started going out. It has been almost 3 years and everytime I wear it, he knows it and tells me how much he loves this perfume on me. I freaked out at the airport on 2 trips in the last 6 months though. Are they starting to discontinue this perfume? I really hope not!

I tested it a counter. If you like peach, you'll love this fragrance. But not for me because I dislike peach. I could smell only peach and a little fruit notes, no flowers at all. The dry dry down is quite strange on my skin and it doesn't last long. I could say it's not a nice scent. Very disappointed.

I love all the Pleasures (tho' I haven't tried summer editions or splashes), and especially ♥ this one for its mango note. I find it fairly long lasting, too. Not as long lasting as Pleasures. If you like regular Pleasures and you like mango you can't go wrong with this one.

This compliments my skin chemistry very well. I can detect a bit of mango under the floral base which lets me ponder something tropical and breezy. I did have coworkers respond that I smelled good and didn't make them sneeze. I never tried the original pleasures so I can't compare, but this makes a nice spring and summer fragrance if you can pull it off.

I bought Pleasures Exotic without trying it out first, and something that I can't explain went against me. Even the thought of it makes my stomach turn. After wearing it a couple of times, I noticed that it quickly turned into the original Pleasures. "Cloying" is the only word that comes to mind when describing this scent. The smell of it lasts and lasts. I couldn't scrub it off. Buyer beware - make sure to test this out on your skin for at least a week first. Thankfully, the store that I purchased this from kindly took it back.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the Exotic. It has a floral base with a slight clean fruity finish which makes it a very charming fragrance for spring and summer. I love it!

The reason I said I wouldn't purchase again is because it doesn't smell great on me. Not that it's awful, but I really was expecting a somewhat tropical fragrance. On me it was just an ordinary floral; there was no fruit scent at all. I don't need another floral but will always welcome a fruity fragrance! I was disappointed; I was expecting something very different. Not much staying power either. Meh.

My ultimate holiday fragrance - fruity and sweet and summery.
Smells like mangoes and lychees on a tropical island.
I save this fragrance only for summer holidays if I can resist... If I'm having a bad day, this always picks me up and makes me feel sunny again.
Lasts a fair bit longer than the Tommy Hilfiger Dreaming that I own, which is in the same sort of frangrance family (fruity floral).
Not like the Original Pleasures at all (I'm not a fan - Pleasures is too heavy and musky for my light tastes). More like a fruit cocktail with a hint of sugar in it.
Bottle is a bit boring - same as all the other Pleasures bottles.

This is almost linearly lemongrass on me, which I like but do not find very versatile. This uplifting note sits on a warm but fresh bed of herbs with good sillage and tends to get only slightly sweet towards the end. I don't get any fruit. When I smell this, I always think of yellow fields under the sun, linen skirts and Swedish cloggs with wooden soles but would rather have it as a mood enchanting aromatic burning oil in an urban bathroom. I enjoy keeping a miniature but would not purchase a full bottle unless it was on discount or something.

I find this to be very very similar to the original Pleasures - so much so, that if I grabbed either bottle without looking and sprayed it on, I'm really not sure I'd be able to tell the difference. Pleasures Exotic does have an ever so slightly fruity edge to it, but it's so subtle that it's almost not present! So I generally get a very fresh vibrant floral fragrance that is certainly quite crisp and lovely, but in future I would see no point in purchasing both of these fragrances as to my nose, there is not enough difference to warrant owning both.
