Have been using this as a facial cleanser for about 5 months. I like it; it removes my MMU and (minimal) eye makeup well however in the colder weather it leaves my face drrrrry. Wish one of Vanicream's moisturizers worked for me.

I'm acne-prone and super cloggy and have had no issues with this product. Lathers well and rinses clean. Unscented.

I just bought the sensitive skin version, and I'm honestly really surprised how drying it is on my skin. It's annoying because it really cleanses well. What also surprises me is how much it lathers considering they say it's free of so many chemicals (it looks like there's no SLS, but I could be wrong). I had to switch back to the Dove beauty bar because it was so so drying. However, there are some pros: it cleanses really well (as I said before) and it didn't make me break out at all, which is awesome.

This cleanser is formulated without fragrance (including masking fragrance). It is also oil and soap free. It has a luxuriously, silky, liquidy-gel texture to it. It does provide a level of foaming action, which does aid in the cleansing process. It rinses away cleanly without any leftover residue. And, it can be used safely around the eye area as well.

This cleanser can also be used to remove makeup as well. However, if you are a heavy makeup wearer, you may find it necessary to use a separate makeup remover. And, unlike most cleansers on the market, this one can not only be used on the face, but also on the body and hands as well.

This product is somewhat drying to the skin. Therefore, if you have either dry or very dry skin, this cleanser will leave your face feeling even drier. However, if you happen to have normal, combination, or oily skin, this cleanser is certainly worth considering.

Free & Clear Liquid Cleanser was prescribed to me by my dermatologist as part of a skincare regimen to combat rosacea. At first use, I could immediately feel the difference compared to my previous cleanser. My skin felt calm, smooth, and comfortably CLEAN. After five months, I am still very pleased with the abilities of this liquid cleanser; it capably removes all sunscreen and powder (but not foundation) properly, without having to use a cleansing oil/cream beforehand. The only fault I could find is that it stings the eyes slightly each time, but I guess it is just fully removing all the grime and impurities. Added to all these benefits is that this cleanser is free of most potential irritants and harmful ingredients. A great cleanser.

This is such a soft liquid cleanser for your face. I was trying to use more "natural" products but most natural cleansers have essential oils in them and it really irritates my face. I really like this cleanser, your skin feels clean and moist. They have their own website and if you never tried the products before, you can call the 800# and they will mail you samples. The customer service rep was so friendly and helpful when I called and she mailed me a sample of everything in their product line (I just wanted a sample of the cleanser lol). Try it, and it's so cheap. You can get a 32oz refill bottle for $25!

This cleanser did a good job to remove all sunscreen and make-up.
I have sensitive oily skin and unfortunately this cleanser was too drying.

The cleanser is too strong for my facial and body skin, which is dry and sensitive. I tried diluting it half and half with distilled water and using it as a body and hand wash, and it was OK for this purpose.

This gentle cleanser would be beneficial for all skin types. It is an effective cleanser removing my makeup (including eye makeup) and suncreen with ease. Leaves my skin feeling wonderful not dry or tight like other cleansers. This is free of fragrance, dyes, lanolin, parabens and formaldehyde preservatives. Contains gentle cleansers and glycerin. Great product at an affordable price. Comes in an 8 oz pump bottle for around $7-8,

I really love this cleanser. I have extremely sensitive, reactive, acne-prone combination skin and this is one of the very few things that does not irritate it. It cleans thoroughly without making my cheeks dry or tight-feeling. That it's cheap is just icing on the cake.

This product is much better for Oily Sensitive skin. Less abrasive than Cetaphil Normal/ Oily cleanser. I must have tried 100 plus cleansers from Purpose to Dove Soap - they all left me with Post red marks. This cleanser does not. It took about 4 washes for my skin to adapt and accept that I am treating it to something Gentle. For cleaning the face it works.. I live in Hot Humid weather and sweat all day with my Oily skin and at the end of the day I use witch hazel with this and No dirt comes off after 1 washing of this product. I couldn't believe it.. No dry marks ; no more red marks. 2 years of trying and finally. Its a great product that my Dermatologist recommended for my Hypersensitive skin. I also am using Differin gel with this from x to x..

This is the best cleanser ever for my sensitive, highly-reactive skin. Since discovering Free & Clear Liquid Cleanser over a year ago I have not been tempted to stray (except prewashing with Kanebo's Moistage Cold Cream Washable for stubborn sunscreen removal). Me: Combo/oily in humid weather; combo/dry in low-humidity, cool or cold weather; acne-prone with various allergies.

I like that there is no propylene glycol nor herbal extracts nor other common irritants. This is sulfate free, much gentler on my hands than other soaps. For my face, because my skin is dry, this foaming cleanser is a bit drying. I would buy this again for handsoap.
Edit: I use this as body soap. It is the best one I have found. THe Dove and aveeno and olay all contain sulfates and fragrance. I did a side by side test and Dove was noticeably irritating, while free and clear was not.

This stuff is the best thing I have come across in YEARS. It is a gentle, yet effective, facial cleanser that has a mild lather. It reminds me off the clear Cetaphil and Purpose without the abrasive edge (or that detergent smell that Cetaphil has, which makes me gag). FYI, I found this soap at the NAtional Allergy Association; it is endorsed by them as a cleanser for the hypersensitive and hyperallergic. No parabens, laureths, lauryls, or other bad stuff. But it really, really cleans. My face took to it immediately, as if it were water. I find it especially beneficial for the morning wash when I don't want to strip my face but do want to remove overnight grime. It doesn't aggravate blemishes or overdry the skin. Some, however, may find it a tad drying, but not nearly as much as Cetaphil, Purpose, or other gel cleansers. My own skin is very dry (as a result of Spirodactone--used to be very oily) and I only need a drop of moisturizer after using this. It also works VERY nicely with my Dermatologica facial brush. The 8 oz. pump bottle was $7.33 from my local pharmacy (CVS); they ordered it for me and it arrived in less than 24 hours. The website offers a sample size for about 2 bucks or something like that. Highly recommended--even if you are not looking for a new cleanser, this would be great to have around for the sensitive/ blemished/ skin crisis days.UPDATE: Still using this--it is my daily cleanser. Cleans better than any other and keeps skin calm. I alternate this with the neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser, but I actually think this one gets the skin cleaner. Reason being, I noticed that when I wash my hands before cleaning my face, this one pulls up all kind of grime on my hands--the neutrogena doesn't. Ordering my second bottle today.
SECOND UPDATE: Still using this (going on 3rd bottle); Tried a few others in between and still this one beats them all.

I love, love, love this cleanser! It is by far the best I have ever used!! It foams up very nicely and washes off all traces of makeup, including eye makeup! Plus it doesn't sting my eyes like most other cleansers would. It's a very gentle cleanser that is fragrance free, soap-free, oil-free and free of common chemical irritants. It comes in an 8 oz. pump bottle for slightly over $8, and I can order it directly from my pharmacist which makes it very easy!! Also if you go to:

http://www.psico.com/products/fc_liquid_cleanser.cfm

you can request a sample of this and any other products they carry!

Yay! i now have a hg cleanser (ive always wanted one!). I love this cleanser! it is ever so slightly foaming but using this makes avene cleanance seem harsh in comparison. This is soo totally gentle and none stripping and its also totally cheap and comes in a great squirty bottle. Another thing is this is a US product but ive found a UK supplier (drivensnow.co.uk) so i dont even have to import it! It is free of all irritants and contains only the bare essentials of a cleanser - no fragrance no dyes no essential oils etc, so its perfect for my sensitive skin. It gives the perfect about of cleanliness i require for my combo sensitive skin yet it doesnt dry me out at all. This is so far the best cleanser ive ever used and i dont think im going to stray from it unless something drastic changes in my routine.

purified water, glycerin, disodium lauroamphodiacetate, sodium lauroyl ethylenediaminetriacetate, sodium myristoyl sarcosinate, isostearamidopropyl morpholine lactate, PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate, sodium chloride, dimethicone copolyol, potassium sorbate, citric acid I would like the know the ph of this tho if anyone knows, but i think it may be ph balanced.
