This is my night-out signature fragrance. I get a lot of compliments when wearing it, mostly from men.
I really think it's too sexy and overpowering for work or daily use, but the perfect perfume for dates and parties.

There is a note in this perfume I really don't like, it reminds me of Tom Ford Black Orchid which I'm afraid I have a very low tolerance for these days (people have a tendency to douse themselves in it and I could cry, on the right woman it smells nice but woah...) I didn't find it sexy myself but for those that love Black Orchid I can see that this is a more wearable light version.

On me this smelled very similar to Dior's Miss Dior Cherie. It is a tad less sweet, and indeed a tad more sexy (Miss Dior Cherie being only about caramelized popcorn & candy). I really enjoyed this for the first half hour...then it disappeared completely. It has no lasting-power :-(. I can't justify buying something I'd have to reapply every hour.

Beautiful, sexi fragrance, soft, not overhelming, and what I like the mot is the powdery and musky smell, like baby powder with hint of vanilla. This combination is so relaxing to me.Yes,I will buy again and again. This is one of my 10 top fragrances.

I really don't know what is "sexy" about it! It dissepears in two or three minutes. It also reminds me of artificial fragrances of 80's. TG, I only bought the smallest one during the discounts.

A must have!! Its really sexy n beautiful. Warm vanilla mix with cotton candy, n slightly rose in it! And the lasting power is very well. I didnt find its synthetic or anything bad. I got ton of compliments anytime I wear this. Some say they cant resist of sniffing me...lol The package is unique n pretty too, I can separate a hafl to pick with me when I go travelling, thats a plus! SEXY is a name worth its quality n this one is better so far with some perfumes named Sexy as Victoria's secret which are just cheap n horrible!

Sexy? If you think a hormonal (read 'sweaty') teenager smelling of a cheap musky body spray on top of synthetic vanilla body lotion is sexy maybe so. Ugh! Very few perfumes solicit such a reaction from me but this is one of them.

If I could give this 3.5 stars I would, but since I can't I will bump it up to 4 because my DH loves this on me.
I have this in the rollerball, which I love because I have never used up an entire bottle of perfume in my life. I like to constantly try different things, so spending a lot on a large bottle is not practical for me. Also, the rollerball is a quick & convenient way to apply.
As far as the scent, it starts out almost offensive but quickly dries down to something more pleasant. There are some powdery notes in it, which I am usually not fond of, but works well in this scent. By the final dry-down, this smells a lot like BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom on my skin, so fans of that fragrance would probably like 212 Sexy. It's not quite in my top 5 but it's a nice go-to for date nights with DH since I know he loves it.

When it comes to fragrance, I'm a fan of (almost) anything sugary sweet, even gourmand; sweet to me equals sexy most of the times. So it's no surprise that I really enjoy this one. At first it smells sweet and gourmand, however it dries down to more of a floral scent. I read on Osmoz.com that there's a cotton candy note somewhere in there. I guess that's where the sweetness comes from, I'd like it to be just a tiny bit more prominent and noticeable though. This is one of the fragrances I'd gladly wear anyway, as it's a nice example of what suits my personal taste. Check it out if, like me, you consider sweet scents sexy.

This perfume is the best smelling perfume I have ever come across. And I am SUPER picky. It's has a very subtle unique scent to it..and definitely delivers its name.. sexy as hell! I've been on the hunt to find a match as sexy as this, but have failed for the past 2 years. I've smelt everything from Dior, Juicy Couture, Tommy, D&G, etc... just can't get enough of this delicious 212. It's definitely a must for me.

this perfume gives me a headache and is too musky.

I've never owned this perfume but I've tried it on in stores for years, everytime I pass it haha. I really like it, it's great. I could definitely buy it sometime if I feel like it.

The first time I tried this was in the spray tester at the store. I ended up buying the rollerball version because it was cheaper and I instantly loved the fragrance and must admit that it was an impulse buy. In the store it was a light sweet combo not too floral or fruity just right. When I tried my rollerball the next day I was almost sickened. I got a funny "old granny" note that was horrible and it was sooo strong and way too sweet and florally(not my taste) I was beyond disappointed! I got my husband to smell it on me and he said that I smelled like a "flight attendant" Not good. So I don't know if it's just because rollerball versions are far more concentrated (they don't spray it just flows out) and it made it way too strong of a scent for me or if I was crazy that night I first tried it?! I'll have to try it again at the store and SPRAY it on. I gave my rollerball away to a friend because I don't want to smell like an old granny flight attendant :P What happened???

I absolutely adore this fragance but unfortunetly no matter how little I put it on I always get this horrible headache. Not for me...
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
This is a little bit too bold- I'm not sure it suits me. It is sweet and spicy. I would not describe it as "sexy" but I think compared to all of my daintier fragrances it kind of is. The bottle is really the best part.

For those of us whose body chemistry this fragrance complements, the descriptions are right on: spun sugar, vanilla, oriental florals and a hint of musk. This is definitely sexier after the dry-down, as it has undertones of aromatic spice too. I do absolutely agree with other reviewers that I get more compliments from men when I wear this. But not just the innocent "you smell so good" comments. I get those deliciously satisfying "wow! you smell amazing...what is that?" musings, accompanied by occasional neck sniffing action and general swoon-at-your-feet-ness. I never tell them what it is. I have the $13 roll on from Sephora and keep it in my purse for emergencies. Definitely a secret weapon!
On my dresser right now: Prada Infusion D'Iris, Vera Wang Princess, Cartier Le Baiser du Dragon, Guerlain Champs Elysees, Lucky Brand Lucky You

LOVE this perfume. I am normally a light, fresh type of perfume girl but I had to make an exception for this. It is a great winter fragrance - spicy, warm and sexy. I tried a small sample at Sephora and ended up asking for it this Christmas. Bonus- it drives my husband crazy so I got a big bottle as a gift from him! Great fragrance, really enjoy wearing it. I find myself sniffing my wrist here and there throughout the day. And it does last - a little goes a long way. I do wish the bottle would stand up rather than lay on its side, but it is a cute design.

Well, I am completely mixed up about all of Carolina Herrera's perfumes now.
First I thought I liked Caronlina, after getting a sample of it. I couldn't stop smelling my wrist all day long and couldn't wait to buy the full bottle of it. However, when I went to Sephora to buy, the sample bottle they had out smelled NOTHING like the sample I had gotten. I don't know if it was just old or what, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it. It smelled like old lady and drugstore perfumes. Gross. The original sample had reminded me of Marc Jacobs, but warmed, spicier and sexier!
So then I sampled 212 Sexy and thought I liked it a lot better. After bringing it home and wearing it to work one day, I've changed my mind. All day I was completely bothered by the smell and couldn't wait to wash it off. It ALSO smelled old lady, just overwhelming and cheap at the same time. I haven't tried wearing it again since then, and I don't think I will. I have no idea what happened, but none of Carolina's perfumes have worked at all for me!
I just don't smell any of the sweetness, warmth or candy in this. It just screams cheap old perfume, like the bottles my grandma let me play with when I was little (Chloe, or Elizabeth Taylor anyone?)

I bought this online with a gift certificate from my sister. I live an hour away from any mall & based my purchase on the notes listed & on the reviews here. I do not smell the same thing most of you seem to smell. I smell little old lady who used too much perfume & hairspray. I get no cotton candy, no vanilla...no sweetness with this at all. No warm, no sexy. This fragrance just screams PERRFUUUME & is so overpowering that I can actually taste it...even with just one spray & not even on me. My daughter tried it across the room from me...just one spray & I could taste it. By the descriptions here, I'm sure it smells lovely to some of you, just not me. I guess if you are supersensitive to one of the notes in a fragrance, it just kind of ruins the whole effect. Same with the reaction to your body chemistry. Oh well, that's the way fragrances are. Some are made to be enjoyed by you & some are simply destined to be someone else's treasure.

Was passing by a tester of 212 Sexy today and decided to try a squirt since it was convenient for me to do so. It's a well-put-together, balanced musky and sweet floral that is pleasant to my nose, but that is about it. It isn't outstanding or captivating or provocative, but at least it doesn't smell cheap or chemically. It's not a scent I would choose when I wanted to make a strong impression on someone - I would wear it if I simply wanted to smell universally 'good'. To me, this scent would be suitable for any age bracket, truly. I would buy a little bottle if I happened to see one on sale for a cheap price but would not spend the current retail price for 212 Sexy. It smells good but does not speak to my soul or make me feel like a goddess/heroine/adventuress.
