This is a beautiful scent, very true gardenia scent. The reason however, why I will not buy it, and cannot give it 5 stars is because there is no lasting power. You put it on and in 20 minutes you can barely smell it wherever you sprayed it. For the cost of this, I would certainly want it to last longer than that. However, Trish sort of makes up for this with Sexy # 4. It is a sexier, kind of headier version of regular # 4 and it actually lasts!

If this was stronger and lasted longer, it would be my holy grail sign. scent. The first blast is sheer loveliness. Unfort., after about 10 seconds..POOF! It is gone. If they could make a concentrated version, i would be in scent heaven. I also use the Sexy No4 gardenia, but this also does not last long. MAJOR BUMMER. It is also very $$$$.

This is the truest gardenia I've ever smelled!! Trish got it right!!! It is fresh and the musk balances the composition very nicely. The gardenia isn't heady, doesn't scream "I'm here" or cause a headache! Instead it is fresh and green and refreshing. Every time I pick up the cool rectangular bottle to sniff it, I'm transported for a moment to a peaceful and happy moment in Hawaii...and what's better than that?!! A must-try for gardenia lovers!!!

This was the scent that I wore on my wedding day a few years ago. I chose it because of it's lovely, fresh, and yet not overpowering scent.However, I purchased a bottle over the summer at a local boutique and found the scent to smell different than usual. Much more gardenia, and not as much of an even balance of gardenia and musk. Later that evening I called the boutique, and a sales girl told me that she noticed the change to. When I tried to write an email to Trish McEvoy to ask why she changed the scent, her site was under construction. I just hope that she brings back the original someday!

I don't smell much gardenia but this is a beautiful fresh scent. Doesn't last very long at all though(minus one lippie) but I still love it!

To me this fragrance has the perfect balance between gardenia and musk. Clean, femenine and sexy. So clean, this edt is the epitome of cleanness. There is as well a tiny sweet note in the (what a pity) short drydown that I believe has a lot to do with the tonka bean accord. I wish they will do an EDP version of this gorgeous fragrance.

Just purchased this yesterday at Saks. My boyfriend has been wearing Khiels musk which is lovely but a little strong, and I love Jo Malone's Gardenia but find it a little sweet. I found this fragrance to be a perfect combinationi of the two. Not too musky and not too flowery. Very soft...but do find that it doesn't last long.

This is my default/HG fragrance. It smells amazing. Go smell it. I'm on my second bottle, and it's the only perfume I've ever purchased a second bottle of. I'll be getting a third when this one runs out.

My only complaint (and why I only gave it 4) is that it doesn't last very long, which has its upside in that I wouldn't want an everyday fragrance that was overpowering. They used to make the body lotion, but depressingly do not any more. You can custom order it through certain stores (I'm currently having Saks get it from Bendels) for $10 more than the lotion would otherwise cost - only for this scent would I go to such trouble.

UPDATE: My customized lotion arrived. The rep who ordered it asked them to go "heavy" on the oil, so it would last longer. So far, well worth the ridiculous amount of money.

i just bought this scent and I love it - the staying power is just okay though but the scent is amazing. Other fragrances that I like are Tova, Tova nights, and Pure Grace. Will definlety repurchase b/c I only bought the small bottle which is great b/c it is small and fits in my makeup case.

This is one of my favorite fragrances. It's soft, feminine, but defintely makes it's own statement. The gardenia scent is light, not overpowering like some gardenia fragrances and the musk gives it a clean scent. My favorite Trish scent.

I love this fragrance! It is simply my favorite. It is subtle and sexy as any good perfume should be. This is not one of those overpowering, headache inducing scents....it is lovely. Seriously, without sounding too cheesy, I feel happy when I put it on. The packaging is pretty and if you don't think this scent is for you Trish McEvoy has plenty others to choose from. You're bound to find one!!

Updated to add: Sadly, they have changed this fragrance. I have heard they are working on bringing back the original but until then, I will not repurchase.

I love this fragrance! It is light and clean and refreshing. I pull it out every winter when I am ready for spring but it isn't here yet. I love it, I am on my third bottle. I also love the small refillable bottle, great for travel.

Reminiscent of a warm summer night-the fresh scent of gardenia, white musk and a touch of tonka beans add the warmth to this fragrance, it is a gorgeous bottle, and this is my 2nd one, love anything gardenia, and Trish does a great job with fragrance, just a hint of gorgeous gardenia

As far as Trish fragrances go, this one has decent staying power, a nice, typical gardenia-y scent, and the bottle that I die for. I have not compared this to Marc Jacobs (has gardenia too), but I'd like to.

I just purchased this scent and I really like it. I guess I like gardenia since I own Marc Jacobs, TBS Indian Gardenia, E. Taylor's Gardenia, and now, Trish #4 Gardenia Musk. This is very clean and floral but not too floral. I really like it but I must agree with the others, it isn't long lasting but I can always reach for MJ if I want a gardenia punch.

I LOVE this scent. It smells so fresh and florally. I don't find it to be long lasting but that can be good cause it's light. It's a very pretty spring fragrance. Not overpowering in the least.

I love this fragrance. To me this smells truer to gargenia than others that are too heavy. It is there without being too overpowering. My parents used to have a row of gardenia bushes all along the front of our house and when the flowers were in bloom and the breeze was blowing in, #4 is what my scent memory recognizes and recalls. No Jungle Gardenia here! I get compliments on this one quite often and I think this scent says: understated, girly, classy, fresh, upbeat. MMMMMM (inhaling)...
