This is a gorgeous dark cherry red, with a very glossy satin finish. I can't imagine anyone not liking this color. It's one of the few reds I can pull off on my hands without feeling uncomfortable. Double Indemnity is from Essie's Winter 2004 Frozen Assets Collection.

I'm a little torn on this one, because the colour is really pretty and it suits me, but I don't care for the finish. Double Indemnity is a rich, midtoned wine red with bronze shimmer, which is perfect for me. However, it has a very foil-y, borderline frosty finish, particularly under bright light, which kind of kills it for me. It does, however, apply beautifully and with no streaks at all.

Double Indemnity is After Sex with a slight copper-gold shimmer instead of pinky-red. Not all that creative on Essie's part, but this shade is still beautiful, rich, long wearing, shiny and easy to apply.
