I like the gel texture and it does not leave any stickiness after application. I could not find this product in my country anymore and thus no longer be using this product anymore.

This vichy line, in the Thermal Fix "2" version, which is richer (couldn't find it here) is the BEST moisturizer ever. I have dry skin and it really fills it with water, it's one of those creams that don't just make a barrier but it actually merges with your skin, the hydrating effect lasts sooo long, and is not oily in terms of consistency, it's more like "fondant" (though oilier skins should use it only in dry areas).
Also, this one gets an A+ in airplane environment, which is the last place were you wanna be with dry skin. Thumbs up!!!

Great moisturizer for combo&dehydratated skin. But using one jar per year or two is enough, continued use of it will make your skin too oily.

I accidently purchased this instead of the Thermal Fix SPF 15 Intensive Re-Hydrating Care Lotion that I had meant to buy, which is actually a great lightweight summer moisturizer. Instead, I got this gel like serum, which I guess is supposed to be a moisturizer, but lacks essential SPF and feel heavy and thick. I think the thickness comes from Filladyn, which is supposed to be a concentrate to add moisture to the skin, but it just sits on top of the skin without sinking in and creates an oil slick surface. It’s pore clogging and ineffective. I would not recommend this product, but check out the Thermal Fix Lotion I mentioned above, that lotion is a star.

The review is for Thermal Fix 1 Fragrance Free Intensive Re-hydrating Care Moisturizer sold in the US.

PROS:
- great basic moisturizer for combo skin, does what it promises
- unscented, very light oil-free texure, sinks immediately into the skin without leaving a heavy feeling
- doesn't clog pores or cause break-outs
- suitable for sensitive skin

CONS:
- no SPF, but it isn't really a con because not everyone needs it.

OTHER THOUGHTS:
- if money isn't an issue and you need intense hydration, I 'd recommend Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum instead, it's a superior product.

This moisturizes nicely. It has a nice scent and isn't greasy. It's never caused breakouts. My skin looked soft and dewy. I've since moved on to Fix 2, the more moisturizing version of this.

I really like this moisturizer. It is light but very moisturizing. It has no scent and does not cause break outs. It is just a really good basic moisturizer.

I thought this was a nice light night time moisturizer for hydrating my acne prone combo skin. At first it did seem to work but gradually my skin reacted. When i stopped using this cream, my skin healed right away. It had little red bumps everywhere, and now a week of not using it and my skin is recovering. THANK GOODNESS i found the cause of my reaction. Surprisingly my skiin reacts well to the Vichy Normaderm Cream.

Love this cream! I only use it as a night cream because I find it too heavy to wear under makeup during the day (and it doesn't have spf). It does a great job of moisturizing my combination skin, and best of all it DOES NOT break me out. Plus, the smell is fantastic. Have already repurchased 4 times.

I am surprised so many people have had trouble with this product - I love it. I was a bit dubious when the sales assistant told me it was replacing the Thermal S UV (which was what I wanted), but it seems much the same to me. I like the fragrance, and think it's light enough; and have found my skin improved, even though its quite sensitive. Also, you can now get it in a pump bottle - which is more hygienic, if a bit wasteful.

I have been using thermal fix uv which replaced the s uv which was HG for me.
This one it´s awful. It makes my skin too oily and my pores more distilled, It doesn´t work with my skin at all.I won´t buy it again never. I´ll try instead la roche hydraphase or anything else!!!

i just remembered that this is the WORST MOISTURIZER I'VE EVER TRIED!! i tried it about 2 years ago and it's scarred me for life (literally). The second i put this moisturiser on my face, a burning sensation developed on my cheeks... given that my combo skin is somewhat sensitive, i have never ever experienced such a sudden reaction to product, most reactions that i've had to moisturisers are just mild redness etc after a few days of usage, but this vichy moisturizer was so horrible! i was stupid enough not to wash it off right away, i kinda ignored the burning and went to bed ...bad bad bad idea...the next day 2 very visible red patches develped on both my cheeks...i washed my face with cetaphil and it actually stung! i couldn't believe gentle cetaphil actually stung my face... my whole face became extremely sensitive to many of my usual products and i switched to a cream cleanser which was better. The red patches on my cheeks were visible for 3 whole months after using Thermal Fix only once...and left me with a faint red patch (scar?) on my cheeks still to this day...... i'm not exaggerating at all ........please AVOID!!! it's not worth trying this! it was also the first time i used vichy and never again!

A good moisturizer for under makeup. It doesn't leave a residue, is non greasy, and sinks in instantly. The more dry your skin is, you have to put on more. The jar packaging isn't very hygenic and there's a ridiculous amount of fragrance. Heavy fragrance and high alcohol content is probably the cause of irritation for others who tried it.

I just sampled this, and my combo skin just loved it, the smell, the creamy texture, I mainly used it at night. I would definitely consider buying this as my next night time moisturizer.

IMO this is a very bad product. It's a thick, highly fragranced cream that promises to give great moisture to your skin. I have dry skin and this stuff is not moisturizing at all, even in summer time. Sometimes it also causes a nasty itchy feeling on my face. Don't like the jar packaging as well. Won't repurchase.

I like the thermal S1 but the thermal fix is so different. It would burn every time I used it, the consistency changed as well.Did not cause any breakouts, but could not stand the burning feeling for the first 30 seconds or so after application. This one was a miss for me.

I have used this in about 2-3 weeks and I really love this stuff. It is light but moisturises my skin very well. It has not broken me out! It has a nice, soft fragrance. The price is ok.

This moisturizer is awesome. I have combination skin that gets very dry (especially around my forehead, in between my eyebrows and cheeks)during the winter months. This stuff works very well at eliminating my dry, flakey spots. I gave it 4 lippies because it comes in a jar (I prefer pumps). This stuff works better than Lancome's Aquafusion. It moisturizes better, sinks in faster (leaving no residue), costs less and smells better.

I am on my second Vichy Thermal Fix1 jar already. I'd say I love this cream, it feel comfortable, and your skin absort the lotion easily. However, ever since I use this product, I start to have *white-head* on my face... I'm not exactly sure if it's due to my bad sleeping habit or other skin-care product's influence. And another problem is... this product are meant for sensitive skin, however it does burn my skin from time to time *until* my 2nd bottle *coz I decide to give it another try*! And the price is slight pricy for a basic shoppers brand though. As conclusion, this product is still nice, but could be better. Might or might not repurchase.
