This foundation is one of the nicer ones I've tried. It's definitely better than MUFE HD and a lot of drugstore foundations I've tried. It's really smooth and makes the skin look great. It's not too heavy, but it has a good amount of coverage. I really like it, but it is too orange for my skin and there aren't many shades. PLUS it does oxidize on me which makes me less likely to use it. I wish it would stay on the skin longer as well. Also, it doesn't have a pump which I hate. It's just not sanitary!

I bought this when it was being discontinued mainly because it was on sale (it was only 8.00) and I was in crazy need of a foundation. Personally, I found it very nice and it evened my skin-tone, as foundations should. But this is NOT buildable, it will feel so thick and heavy, and it's just disgusting. Eventually I just mixed my moisturizer into this because it just felt way too thick on my face. Another downside, was the shade-range. I didn't like it at all. But it is a great product, nonetheless. If you need to layer on your foundation, don't get this. It sucks. But why worry, it's discontinued anyways. X:

I've never been big on foundation. There was always something about the fake even palette or wrong-color-ashy look of others that turned me off. However, I tried this at Kohl's one day, and like a great foundation is supposed to do, it instantly blended in with my skin. I was shocked that my color was deep/warm #11, considering I'm not very dark, but who cares! I have YET to find a foundation that works as well as this. Clinique foundation sucks for my skin.Yes, it's not the heaviest coverage, but that's my very favorite part about it. It evens out most of my skin tone and smoothes lines, and leaves my skin looking naturally radiant with just one thinly layered application with a foundation sponge. Yes, staying power isn't that amazing...a few times I have found my makeup on my friends creme sweater :-( (crikey! my fault for not using a primer or a powder to set it?) But this is the only foundation that manages to compare with the natural highlights of my skin. The closest I've come to this foundation is Smashbox foundation which was $20 more, but it provided less coverage, was less natural-looking, and not as perfect a fit. I don't know what all of the fuss about the "sparkles" is about lol After wearing this, I hate how dull, dark, and demure my skin looks with matte foundation. I love the "glow." A couple of layers provides more complete coverage, but I wouldn't go over that. It's definitely fine to use without a moisturizer. I have qualms with wearing foundation everyday (I should probably talk to a psych about it) so when I just want to add a little color to my skin, I dab a little of this foundation with my moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer. I have sensitive/acne-prone skin and this foundation seems to help it. Sorry this is so long, but I loooove this foundation! Go into Kohl's and try it on risk-free.

This is just a mediocre product. I was looking for a dewy liquid foundation, which this is. However, it has the staying power of chicken grease. It just doesn't stay on. And it doesn't do much for coverage. If you use this foundation, you definitely need to use a powder over it, which defeats the purpose of having a dewy look.

What is it with the sparkles? Younger skins don"t need them and who needs glitter in their wrinkles. Sparkly wrinkles?.....UGH. Colors are very becoming and very forgiving so if you have unusual undertones in your skin you will find something suitable (maybe not your HG but something wearable). There are many brands that have nothing at all that will compliment my skin tone. I am usually a cool (pink) but could, in a pinch get away with their warm colors. They are that forgiving. Coverage is light to medium and doesn't accentuate lines. I am always looking for an inexpensive base that I can leave in my glove compartment for touch-ups and I thought that maybe this was it but , alas, its too disco days glitzy for me.

This is a really great foundation except for one thing--it's not really a foundation. Or at least it shouldn't be. It makes a great highlighter! I could not believe how sparkly this was. It looked allright indoors but when I checked it in my rear view mirror I was shocked! It looked like someone threw gold glitter at my face! I do use it as a highlighter with American Beauty's Natural Finish Foundation, because it can look a little flat. I'm waiting for them to come out with a liquid that is "in-between." Estee Lauder is their parent company, they can do it!

The best foundation i ever have . I have medium skin with yellowish under tones and always found difficult to find the right warm shade .Luckily this has it ,i use medium warm and it is perfect for me . I will repurchase it again .so smooth and light .It doesn't have such huge coverage ,but for me sufficient .

This has become my HG foundation. My mom bought this for me when Kohls was having a deal on this brand, my mom bought one for herself as well. I was unsure about it at first, because of all the sparkles and my sensitive, oily-prone skin. But I absolutely love the results, yes being in the dead of the sun my face is glittery but I'm not normally in the sun all the time. The appearance of this foundation leaves my skin very dewy and glowy, and the coverage is amazing. My mom however is on the fence about this foundation due to the lumination of the sparkles. Its really all how you find that you like it. My skin seems to like this, and it makes my skin look amazing.

Tried this on at Kohls. Looking in their mirror, it really looked good. About an hour later I got in my car and looked in the rearview mirror. OMG, my face was soooo shiny. It felt greasy and heavy. I can't tolerate that at all. This foundation is oil free it sure didn't feel it. I think if you have dry skin and want a great deal of radiance, this could work for you. But if you have the least bit of oil, I would reconsider. Probably not a bad foundation, but it's certainly not for me.

I bought this in light cool. I usually wear Colorstay or Revlon age defying, but I love this foundation even more! It does what it says. It illuminates the skin with tiny particles of shimmer/light (without being frosty) and goes on like a dream. This is my new HG. Colorstay was too drying and Revlon's color range not right for me, but this color is perfect, matches my skin perfectly. The only drawback is it doesn't stay on all day, but that's fine because I love the finish, dewy, but with medium coverage which I need.

I'm a 42 yr old, with dry skin and some lines, minimal sun damage. I've gone through BBrown, CLarins, CHanel, Clinique, ELauder, and such before I tried this product. I was skeptical at first, since it is kind of shiny, but I've received a number of compliments on how my skin is glowing since I started wearing it. AND it doesnt make my hormonal acne any worse. I mix fair warm and the next one up to get my perfect color. I wear the MOisture Wise moisturizer underneath and its perfect. I use the FLirt blush and wa-la - I get lots of compiments.

This has good coverage, not too thick, nice moisturizing effect. Makes my face a little too shiny but powder takes care of that. I like it, and I really like it for the summer. Beware: it has shimmer, so it's not really great for professional situations. And after awhile, I found it made me breakout.

I was looking for an alternative to Lancome color id and found a perfect color match. The dissappointment was the lack of staying power and the somewhat greasy feel.

A great fan of Estee Lauder products, I looked forward to trying American Beauty products. I tried the Perfect Lighting Line Smooothing Foundation SPF 15. The coverage was poor and did not last. The golden shimmer was a distraction. Overall, it was a great disappointment and a waste of money.
