I really miss this product. Not only was I impressed with the quality of the cream, but the scent was intoxicating. Origins has not provided such a scent since. Now all of their body creams, soaps and lotions smell medicinal. It does not exactly make me feel sexy or even remotely appealing walking around smelling like someone's prescription. I have been looking for a product that had a similar scent since and have come up empty handed. After being a loyal Origins customer for years I have since moved on to other products that had more appealing fragrances.

I completely adore this body butter, it smells delicious. Kind of an earthy chocolate, yummy. It leaves my skin nice and soft too and is undoubtedly one of my favorite products from Origins. It goes on rich but is absorbed instantly and leaves a cool feeling. I would repurchase this again and again but sadly I'm running out and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Too bad because it's a lot better than the other Origins products I've tried.

Origins Cocoa Therapy body butter saved my hands this week! I had the absolute worst dry hands since Sunday. Windchapped, raw, painful...I winced just washing them they were in such bad shape. I have quite a collection of moisterizers but when I tried this, it did the trick. I love that I didn't have to keep reapplying a load of times today -- my hands no longer resemble sandpaper and for that I am very grateful. Bonus - I also have the Origins moisture gloves which helped me...I put some of the body butter on my hands before heading to bed, then the gloves. Woke up in the morning noticably better! Highly recommend...A+++ to Origins for saving my hands :)

I received this as a gift and would never buy it, even if someone paid me. Yes, it smells like Tootsie Rolls. But honestly, who wants to smell like a bag of halloween candy? That's just gross. Who cares if it works. Oh, my dog loves it. He can't stop licking my legs if I put it on. I can hardly wait to get to the bottom of it so I can go back to my C.O. Bigelow cream.

This thick moisturizer smells just like Tootsie Rolls (with a hint of orange) and absorbs quickly without leaving any sort of greasy or sticky residue. I find the scent to be a little off-putting because it's so sweet but overall this is a pretty good body butter.

My tub says Deeply Nourishing Body Butter and am assuming it's the same thing.

A very long time ago I purchased this in Germany when I could not find any Palmer's Cocoa butter stuff - one of my favourite good-value brands. As soon as I tested a dab on my hand, I was smitten and had to have it. I nearly choked when I saw the price but just could not resist. I recently received a full tub of this from a wonderful MUAr and I fell in love with it all over again! Bliss :o)

The butter is pure luxury for me; the texture is like a very thick custard and it melts into the skin immediately. There is no greasy residue like many 'butters" I have tried and some people may find it not quite rich enough. I just pile on more! The scent of dark chocolate laced with orange, vanilla, coffee and spices makes it a delight to use, but not too sweet or overpowering, just rich and delectable. Goes well with most of my gourmand scents!

If ever this goes on sale (wishful thinking) I will probably get a bank loan to buy the lot!

If you like Chocolate this smells great but isn't too over powering. I feel like I can still wear it to work and not over power a meeting room and still enjoy the scent.

The lotion goes on smooth, even and as it says it does feel nourishing. It does not leave you feeling greasy or tacky so you can get dressed right after putting it on.

This yummy lotion is great for my moderately dry skin, but someone with extra dry skin might not get the most benefit from it. I love how it soaks into my skin because I feel like some lotions just sit on top of my skin in greasy blobs. The smell is delectable...though it increases my chocolate cravings. I can smell the tootsie-roll similarity, but it doesn't bother me. The scent is not long lasting, but the light fragrance means I can layer other foody perfumes that have more staying power. I would buy this again.

I love Origins body lotions and creams, but this one smells just like a tootsie roll to me instead of actual chocolate. I wish it had more of a cocoa scent. The cream itself is wonderful just like all of Origins products, but the scent is not for me.

I bought the scrub and body butter expecting to emerge from the shower smelling like a chocolate bar. And at $27 each, TYVM, I was not a happy cocoa camper. I've had this sitting in my bathroom since it came out and I rarely use it.

I adore this stuff. It has a great chocolate smell just like a tootsie roll. The fragrance doesn't last long, but that is fine with me. I wouldn't want to smell like a toostie roll all day long. The texture of the cream is nice. It isn't too greasy. This stuff could last forever a little goes a long way. My skin was extra soft and smooth after using this product. Use it after a bath or shower so it soaks in good. I will buy this product again.

Pure Tootsie rolls! That's all I smell when I put this on. The texture is light and great as a hand cream. I would say it's ok at moisturizing but not the greatest. Since this is labeled as a body butter I think it should be thicker. Most chocolate scents turn burnt smelling on my skin but this didn't. Nice light cocoa sniff.

My FI bought me this as a gift while he was on a business trip - he knows that I have dry skin and love chocolate! This is a thick, highly scented cream that is basically shea butter with a bunch of plant essences. The scent is absolutely divine - it smells good enough to eat! I've been using this right after the shower and find it highly moisturizing without being overly greasy.

Here are the ingredients: purified water infused with orange blossoms; shea butter; glycerin; cetearyl alcohol; octyldodecyl myristate; butylene glycol; essential oils of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, mandarin, lemon, orange, clary, cardamom, ginger, styrax benzoin, citral, linalool, benyl cinnamate, limonene, and osmanthus fragrans; octyldodecyl neopentanoate; pentylene glycol; isostearyl neopentanoate; cetyl esters; cetyl alcohol; cetearyl glucoside; cocoa extract; wheat germ extract; barley extract; cocoa butter; sweet almond oil; avocado oil; astro caryum murumuru butter; theobroma grandi florum seed butter; vitamin A; cholesterol, vitamin C; sodium hyaluronate; vitamin E; panthenol; squalane; dimethicone; myristyl myristate; methyl glocose sesquistearate; caprylyl glycol; stearic acid; xanthan gum; aminomethyl propanol; acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer; disodium EDTA

I think this smells delicious! A nice change from the fruity smells that are everywhere these days. I use the cocoa therapy soap then the body butter. To top it off I add a little cocoa therapy lip balm.

I tried this on my arm in an Origins store and was enchanted by the faint chocolately smell. I had a gift certificate so I figured why not? While this does smell pretty good I didn't find myself falling in love with it. The consistency was fine, the smell was fine... but nothing made me love it or feel particularly interested. It did seem to be fairly moisturizing- my dry skin didn't itch when I applied it. A nice smell, just not a wow product. (Layers nicely with Lush's Candy Fluff and Silky Underwear powders though).

This body butter is not like the usual body butter where it takes some time to absorb, like L'occitane's shea butter.s Probably cos this one isn't 100% shea butter, but I like how i do not have to keep rubbing butter in until I feel like I'm getting a bicep workout!! it absorbs quite well and moisturizes quite well as well. I am glad that the chocolate scent fades rather quickly on me as I'd proabaly feel pretty sick smelling chocolate all day!
