This weekend I finished my 500g bottle of Okra... with some regret as this conditioner is discontinued.
*The smell is quite difficult to explain, a earthy, veggy Lush smell? It doesn't bother me, but it's not a mouthwathering smell either.
*The price is rather expensive as are all Lush products in general, but keep in mind, a little goes a long way as always.
*The packaging is a clear, rather thin, plastic bottle.
*The conditioner itself is quite runny but works OK for my fine, dry, frizzy, fly away thick bush of hair. It's gives my hair a nice drink so to speak.

For me personally it does more then American Cream but less then Retreat. (if that makes any sense at all)

Okra is without a doubt my new favorite conditioner. Thank you, Lush! I really hope they never discontinue this product. My hair is coarse, thick, puffy, and overall just a mess to deal with. No, this conditioner is not magic...nothing is. I still have to live with the reality that I was dealt a crappy hand when it comes to my hair. But I can tell that Okra really sinks in and gives my hair a good drink. I really love that Lush products do not contain silicones and so do not provide a false conditioning by simply coating your hair in an unhealthy way. They really work to fix it. Okra gives me shiny, healthier-looking hair from the first use.

Alright first review for Okra in 5 years! This has been brought back for Retro on the lush sites. I purchased it because Veganese has been working well over the last few years and this looked like it would be just as good, if not, better. I really like the herbally smell - kinda masculine. Shake the bottle really well before use. I think it is a tad heavier than veganese as I can tell I used something different in my hair once dry. It has a luster that is not quite shine - almost borderline greasy (and I have dry hair). Once in a while this would be a good supplement to my Squeeky Green/Veganese combo but I will probably not repurchase. The scent does linger which I like but I think I like the Veganese lemony scent better. Veganese is where it is at - but this is not bad by any means!

I just tried this for the first time and I like everything about it! So in true Lush fashion, it is being discontinued!!! DRATS!!!

I bought this many times. I like this as much as I like Coolaulin. I like the scent, vaguely herbal. Conditions fine but it is not as rich as it claims to be. I'm so very disappointed to learn it's been discontinued.

Good thing I only bought the small bottle because this does nothing!!! for dry hair. Stiff still. IMHO I think this is more for normal or fine, flyaway hair. Put two lipsticks instead of one because of the great smell and my hair was detangled.

This smelld like some new age Yoga food, too weird, and not nearly moisturizing enough, my hair feels tangled and coarse after use, but i paid for it,so im using it.....coolaulin ( smells like a coconut coated goat) is a way better conditioner, id save my money if i was ya.

This conditioner was not substantial enough for my very thick, coarse hair. Even thought it's suppose to be Lush's heaviest conditioner it would be better suited for those with fine to medium hair. The smell is okay. Kinda herbally.

This is a popular conditioner, but it didn't do a thing for me. It smells nice and fresh, as all Lush items do. It left my hair rather dull looking.

This is the only product that I am completely loyal to - I've tried many different conditioners but always come back to this one.

I have very thick, long hair and I've always found that this conditioned perfectly (I have dry-to-normal hair). A friend of mine with fine hair tried it and found that it was too heavy. For me, the most important part is that it leaves no residue, while still giving a lot of control and shine.

The smell takes a little getting used to, but once you rinse it off, it smells really nice. I've gotten many compliments on it. It is a little expensive, but a 500 ml bottle tends to last me about 5 months. the packaging is minimal, like all LUSH products.

I love the fragrance of this conditioner! Reminds me of a sunny mountain somewhere in the Swiss Alps. Smells of lavender and mints, truly refreshing and natural. It also works wonders on normal to mildly damaged hair. Probably abit more than someone with super-healthy hair needs, but, those kind of tresses have not been seen on my head in quite sometime ;0

I donīt like this product. They say it is their strongest conditioner but it is actually only a very light conditioner. My hair is very thick and needs more. The smell was really terrible at first but it has grown on me. I am going to finish the bottle using it as a light conditioner but will not buy it again

Wonderful spicy scent. Provides light conditioning (perfect for my short hair), so may not be heavy enough for longer-haired ladies.
