This is the best concealer/highlighter I have tried to date, and I have tried my share (YSL, Dior, Chanel, Elizabeth Arden, Face Stockholm, Clinique, Kanebo, to name a few). I really like YSL's Touche Eclat, but my undereye skin can't tolerate constant use, so I've been on the lookout for something comparable, or better. This one fits the bill nicely. It covers dark circles decently (in contrast to Dior Skinflash), stays put all day, doesn't creep into fine lines (Chanel, I'm looking right at you), and the finish isn't too matte, unlike Kanebo. Also, it doesn't irritate my sensitive-ish skin. I know you get very little product for your money, and that's my biggest gripe. Apart from that, I'm really satisfied, although I will probably test La Prairie's version next, just for the hell of it.

I was looking for an undereye concealer/illuminator. I tested La Prairie pen concealer and Guerlain Issima. Although I liked La Prairie slightly better, I didn’t want to pay over $100 for a concealer and since Guerlain was on the sale, I picked the latter.
The product comes in a pen style applicator with a brush and you have to twist the pen to get the product on the brush and it it difficult to control how much product comes out.
La Prairie concealer is more creamier and seemed to have more coverage, while Guerlain is more like an illuminator. That being said, it covers dark circles a bit and lightens up the undereye area. It doesn’t settle into lines and doesn’t look cakey. It blends in well.
I bought it in the shade 10 Beige Clair, although the shade 20, which is a bit darker, would match me too. The shade 00 is too pink.
The pen contains very small amount of product (1,5ml), but I’ve been using it every day for three months and there’s still some product in the pen.
This product is discontinued and replaced with new Precious Light Rejuvenating Illuminator.
I wouldn’t repurchase it.

Great product for my blue circles, Cheaper than YSL but smaller package and more natural looking. Will buy again.

I really love this product. It's not full coverage, which is great for when you want to look like you're not wearing any makeup at all--really looks like you've gotten sleep, rather than like you've smeared chalk around your eyes.
Perfect for daytime wear! Highly recommended!

I bought this product after chucking out my YSL Touche Eclat which was way too chalky for my liking. So I decided to try Guerlain. And it's truly great! I have recently had a baby so lots of sleepless nights and VERY dark blue circles under eyes. This concealer instantly lifts up my face and makes it look radiant. Other mothers keep saying to me how great I look considering all the tiredness and sleep deprivation. I put it all down to my concealer as I know exactly how tired i look without it. Ok, a bit of cream blush - BB or Stila also help...
Anyway, the concealer stays on, not chalky, not visible - just perfect, definately a keeper.

Comes in a brush twist pen that's similar to the Dior Skin Flash and the YSL Touche Eclat but it works better than both. It has higher coverage and really brightens. Blends easily like butter & gives my eyes a lifted look - more so than the MUFE Lift Concealer. Non-drying, doesn't crease, long lasting! Pricey, but truly the best! My Skintone:
MUFE Face & Body Liquid Makeup #20 Ivory, MUFE HD Foundation #117 Marble, MUFE HD Concealer #325 Natural Beige, MUFE Full Cover #4 Flesh, MUFE Lift Concealer #1 Pink Beige or #3 Neutral Beige, Guerlain Issima Precious Light Smoothing Illuminator #10 Beige Clair, Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen #2 Candle Light, YSL Radiant Touch #2 Luminous Ivory, MAC NC20. ♥ HG! Initially I thought this product would work out for me. The color seemed right however when I later looked, turns out this gave the bags under my eyes a "ghost-like" appearance. Not good.

Well as always I seem to love Guerlain. I've been using this now for 2 weeks and I would definitely repurchase. Yes, the price is steep but if it works it is worth it. I've lost count of how many concealers I've tried for my undereye dark circles as well as the inner corner of my eye - nothing seems to work. It is either too bright and I have that ghosty eye look, or it is too heavy and either sits in the lines or magnifies them. This just seems to smooth them over. Doesn't draw attention to the area but at the same time I have the nice, relaxed, wakeful appearance. A great product that I highly recommend. When I was at work last week (I had only just starting wearing this product), a colleague mentioned that at least since I was in my early 30's, blah, blah, blah . . . . I had to stop them and say I was turning 47 that day!!! They said no way! This is just one example of the compliments I have been getting since wearing this illuminating concealer. No joke! It just may be a miracle and you know you just can't put a price on that!

I have used this product several times in order to have a solid opinion. Colourwise is almost perfect for me (around NC20) and suits me much better than my previous concealer, Touche Eclat No2, which was a little too light for me.
The texture is good, but you still have to use an eye cream underneath in order to apply better.
Application is fairly easy with the soft built-in brush but you also have to use your finger to apply it evenly.
Coverage is sheer to medium, so if you have seriously dark circles, it might not be enough.
Longevity is also good, as it stays put for the whole working day. Overall, it is a very good (and very expensive) concealer that I would propably repurchase.

It looks really greyish on my skin. in fact, it emphasizes my dark circles! Also, the texture is thick and hard to spread. It also dried out the skin around my eyes. The application isn't too good either. The product always comes out on the side and doesn't go on the way to the tip. So it is really messy.
edit: I finally used the whole tube. It wasn't as bad as I originally reviewed. Though I have now switched to By Terry, which is gorgeous!

I bought this based on the reviews I read here and I was kind of "meh", it does illuminate and has more coverage than YSL's Le Touche d'Éclat.
The problem with these fluid highlighter concealers is that they are either too drying on your under eye area or they make whatever fine lines you have appear much more obvious. This doesn't Happen with Guerlain, it is a silky fluid that brightens up the area without making it look whitish or unnatural.
Does it cover dark circles on its own? No, it doesn't, it smoothens them out and makes it brighter but you can tell that the dark circle is still there. However this can be a great item for your makeup bag to carry with you and touch up and instantly give you are a more awake and rested look (don't overdo it though) , this is practically like La Prairie's highlighter pen and definitely wins some points by not creasing or making you look ten years older as the day progresses.
It's a good product, but there a lot of equal if not better ones on the market like Armani's High Precision which is cheaper and a lot more pigmented (definitely something I can wear on its own and pull off).

This review is in reference to under-eye circles. I was a YSL devotee until they discontinued the No2 shade. I have to say that I prefer this concealer to YSL for the following reasons 1) doesn't cake when re-applied (even on top of powder), 2) the brush applicator is a lot softer and more comfortable to use, 3) it's more moisturising. However I don't think it has as much pigment as YSL to conceal and both YSL and this concealer are really quite pale and not a natural shade, plus they both only last a max of 4hrs. The main bug-bear is the price. It is extortionate at £25! I would repurchase but only off the net at a reduced price. I also find that this has a subtle pink tone to it, not good for a yellow based girl like me.

Bought this today and am already a fan. SA put it on me in store, over my end-of-day make up face, and it looked great. Came home and tried it myself. I agree, it's best to dab it on and work into skin that way, rather than applying and smoothing. Way too expensive for a concealer -- I paid $55.00 Cdn. in Shoppers Drug Mart -- but, hey, I bought it anyway!

This is a really, really great product - thanks to positive reviews from fellow MUA members, which were the reason for my purchase.
Its wonderful for a few reasons. It doesn't doesnt dry out or make fine lines etc. appear worse (that was the case when using my other concealers with powder - Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier), blends so easily without pulling, not too oily (ory drying) and I don't need powder on top of it to cut any shine.
I use it on my undereye circles, to conceal redness around my nose and to lighten/brighten the slightly darker patches on my chin. It does work well either under or over-top make-up too. To be fair, on days where I am tired I will use a concealer on top of it, but always put this on first. Something in the brightening/illuminating aspects of this makes face look much better. I I like it so much that I already picked up my second tube to have 'on hand' when my first runs out...found it in the duty free area of the airport so it was a good deal too.
Update: its about one year later and I am still extremely pleased with this product. I have extra tubes of it (lasts for just over 3 months for me with daily use) as I don' t want to run out. I tried YSL's pen and didn't like it as it makes my skin look drier and accentuates fine lines etc.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! It has taken me so long to find something that works for under my eyes. The result I get from this is wonderful, it does not show any of my fine lines and at the end of a long day it still looks fresh. Thank You ladies your reviews are the reason I tried it.

Precious Light is a great concealer. I am NC15, BE 'fair', wear the lightest neutral-toned foundation shades in every line. For concealers I currently have BE bisque, MUFE lift #1, #3, MUFE full cover #2, VL creme concealer in the lightest shade, and I also have Dior Skinflash #002. I was expecting Precious Light to be another skinflash, meaning more of an illuminator with slight concealing power. However, Precious Light functions more like a true concealer than skinflash does. Skinflash conceals a little, but lightens an area ("glow") moreso. Precious Light conceals more, "glows" a little, but less than skinflash. In Precious Light, Shade #10 beige clair matches my skin very well. It provides decent coverage (no more, no less than other true concealers in my makeup collection) and does seem to illuminate a little as well. It is not greasy, not sparkly and doesn't irritate my skin or eyes. What I really like about this is that Precious Light is the ONLY concealer, other than MUFE lift, that does not migrate into the natural crease under each of my lower eyelids. It really stays put and maintains its coverage and luminosity all day. It does indeed seem to "smooth" my eye area and glides on easily, not accentuating or clinging to any dryness or rough areas. I have tried many ways of applying this, and the best, in my opinion, is to go ahead and turn the click-pen until some product appears on the applicator brush, and then dab it on my face where I want the concealer to be. Then, I use the pad of my fingertip to carefully and lightly dab/"tap" the concealer from there. Don't smooth it around with your fingertip as if rubbing, but instead use small dabs and taps to blend the concealer. Also, using a separate concealer brush doesn't work as well for me--it just moves and removes the product. The fingertip pad dab/tap really works and seems to require less product as well. I want to comment, however, about the price. This product cost $44 at Nordstrom. I believe that is unreasonably, and even prohibitively, high, for this tiny product. It should be about $10-15 less, in my opinion. You can't tell me that the nice gold packaging, and the Guerlain name, are not factoring heavily into that price.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now and LOVE this so much. Previously I was using YSL touche eclat - number 2. NEVER AGAIN!!! This has def. become HG for me. I love to apply BB corrector under my eyes first and then this. A little goes a long way. Easy to blend in, not drying at all and covers up imperfections like a dream! I will be repurchasing this again for sure. I found the YSL to be a tad drying - this is much more moisterising and looks far more natural too! LOVE IT!!!!

I'm on my third tube of this. I used to use YSL touche eclat, but the guerlain is much creamier and the color is a better match for me. I have medium grade dark circles and this reflects attention away from them and brightens up the whole eye area. Never settles in fine lines or gets cakey. Pricey, but worth it.
