If you like this scent then you better stock up on this. I think this scent is slowly being phased out of the Blue Q line. I've used this body splash off and on for the past 6-7 years and it's harder to locate these days and it's no longer even available on the Blue Q site. This is a nice peony scent if you are a fan of floral scents.

Most of my bottles of fragrance I have, I've had for over 10 years - so that tells you how often I wear it. I usually cannot be bothered. But Miso Pretty is my favorite of them all. I've had the same bottle since 2004 and it still imparts the same fresh, rosy scent it did when I first picked it up. If I am going to wear fragrance that day, I almost invariably reach past my bottles of Chanel Chance & Mademoiselle, as well as my La Prairie Silver Rain, and go for this one. If you appreciate tuberose & are not into TRYING TOO HARD with fragrance, Miso Pretty is for you.
My grandmother would love this, and so would my nieces - and I think that speaks very well for this one!

One summer I worked next to a gruff, tattooed hipster at the cash registers of a sprawling, corporate bookstore. She'd come in from the 110 or so degrees outside smelling faintly of aging Volkswagen Bug interior and gasoline. Plus the sweetest, kindest hint of peony. All my preconceived ideas about her went out the door. On a whim I smelled Miso Pretty at some crappy teen clothing store and that was it, her. If you like the delicate high notes of gasoline at the pump mixed with fresh peony on the hottest of days, this is for you.

I'm sorry to bring down the ratings - it might be that i've gotten a bad bottle, or i'm seriously allergic to the scent. I bought a bottle of this untested, and after spraying it on, i nearly gagged at the smell. I totally understand the reviewer who got bug spray from this scent. To my nose, the scent is very sharp and saltish, and the peony note seems to irritate my nose. the product also irritated my skin as well, making it itch. I've never had such a negative reaction to fragrances - and I can't believe that it could be this bad after checking out the reviews. So i tested this again, and again, and again... Unfortunately nothing changes. It still irritates my nose and skin. My only consolation is that it didnt' cost much more than S$16. ***************** Update 12/09/2007: I found a way to make this more bearable and less like bug spray. I had a sample vial of Ralph Laurence Romance which I find overly heavy and floral on me, to the point of being headache inducing. Anyway, since I was going to dump both the RL Romance and this, I thought that there's no harm in mixing the two to see what results from it. To be honest, I'm quite surprised - the overall result is still tuberose, with the freshness of the grass rounded out by the florals in Romance, and the body mist is definitely very wearable now. I think I shall keep this bottle around, but I still will not repurchase - too chancy with all that mixing, and I don't have a perfumer's nose.

Packaging is cute, fragrance is great--I'm big on scents that aren't too sickly-sweet or floral. Bit strong at first, but soon settles down. Wish it would last longer, however.

Cute packaging is what made me open this stuff up and smell it. I love the smell of peony, and with the hints of fresh cut grass and tuberose, it's pretty much the perfect fragrance. Plus, I like the scents I wear to be subtle, and I can get that since it's a body spray. I never get sick of it. My friend says the smell reminds her of champagne, but I love it. It makes me want to buy a whole stockpile of it just so I can have it and use it forever.

I can't believe I've lived for so long without knowing about this little beauty.
I initially purchased some other Miso Pretty products as many, simply because I think that the packagings are adorable (clever, clever marketing department, that one) and I started realizing how pretty the scents are as well.
Eventually, I purchased the Body Mist and upon smelling it, I fell on my butt!.
This is a seriously feminine delicate and pretty fragrance, it smells just like flowers with a hint of grass, but unlike so many other florals, this isn't sugar-sweet, it is a conforting, old-fashioned, uplifting fragrance.
I have so many expensive fragrances but, this is the only one that make women (and some men) stop dead on their tracks and ask me what am I wearing and it's one of my husband's favorites, in his opinion; an "un-fuzzy aroma".
Bees seem to dig it too, although I'm not sure that's a good thing!.
The box and bottle are as pretty as the rest of Miso Pretty products and even though it's a cheapy plastic bottle and spray cap, it hasn't leaked and it has survived a fall without cracking.
The fragrance is also long lasting, nothing out of the ordinary, but up there with many 50+ dollars fragrances, if any, I think it lasts longer than my other fave Bvlgari Notte, the difference being that at less than 10 dollars a bottle, I can afford to spray my Body Mist on as many times as I want.
Really, if you like plain and simple flower fragrances and want to spend little money on them, this is a no-miss product.

The packaging is amazingly cute:) Immediatly caught my eye. The scent is an interesting, exotic floral blend.. not something I would usually go for. At first it seemed way too floral/sweet for my liking but this unique scent grew on me. Great price and good lasting power for a body spray.

Recieved this as a birthday gift from a girlfriend I thought knew me better, but I simply don't wear anything but Stella McCartney, YSL Paris, or Coco Mademoiselle. So I am not too great of a judge on this, but it is light and floral. Rather pleasant, but way too light for my "bowl 'em over" with scent taste, (not classy, I know). I have it up for swap, been tested once. :-)

This has been one of my favorite scents, and I don't have to feel guilty about putting it on. I bought since it reminded me of something in my childhood, I ust don't remember what. The scent can be described can as a cross between peaches and roses. Not sure how the quality of lotions and body soap is.

Another favorite fragrance of mine. I just wish the scent would last longer. A perfume/eau de toilet would be better. Very pretty packing too!

The reviews had me all pumped up, so I went to the Ulta store specifically to sniff this out, and ouch! Maybe I was hoping for a different scent, something softer. Isn't this the bitter apple stuff they put on furniture so pets won't chew on it? After a half hour, I began to detect the peony, but I don't want to put up with those sharp top notes. Guerlain's Aqua Allegorica Pivoine Magnifica is kinder to the nose, thank you very much.

When my great-grandmother moved from Russia to an Illinois farm early last century, she planted a peony bush. When my grandmother married and left the farm, she cut a sprig of this bush and took it with her to plant in her own backyard. My mother did the same thing when she married and moved to a new home. One of the things I'll always remember about my childhood summers is the scent of the peony bush in our yard. On hot days, its fragrance was so sweet and beautiful and strong that it almost felt like I was burying my face in the flowers and breathing through the petals, even though I rarely did this due to the ever-present bumblebees.
Miso Pretty body mist smells just like this peony bush. I've never been so impressed by the scent and lasting power of an inexpensive ($10 = dirt cheap) fragrance before!

I had been lemming for this for ages, finally found the last bottle in this little shop on the edge of town. (I figured it was definitely a sign) ;) I can't rave enough about this body spray! The lightest, most refreshing, memory-evoking floral I've encountered in ages. And the staying power! Amazing for a body spray. Can't wait to try the rest of the products in this line!

I'm not good at describing scents, but this is very pretty. It's really feminine and flowery. The fragrance lasts quite well on the skin, considering that it's a body mist and not a perfume. It's not too heavy of a scent either. If I ever run out of this, there is a good chance that I will repurchase.

I've already reviewed the scent below. Pleasant floral, even for those who don't usually love synthetic flower scents. But you have to see the tote bag!!! So CUTE, it matches the labeling for the box. The boutique I went to had this cute bag for $13. Not bad, so I picked up the lipbalm as well. I love BlueQ.

Oddly, I am another one who generally only sticks to foody scents but adores Miso Pretty. I found it at a beauty supply called Eve's in Flushing, and it haunted me for months. I finally caved and tracked it down at Ricky's because my normal fragrance (Orleans Truffle by Dragonfly Blue) is too heavy, and I'm really glad I did.
It lasts and lasts, and the flowery scent is pure and not powdery. (I detest powdery.) It balances in a really appealing way, and it dried down wonderfully with my body chemistry. I guess it's different for everyone. I would *highly* rec this diamond-in-the-rough scent if you want a fragrance similar to Issey Miyake (exotic florals) but want to use it super liberally. I wish there was a purse spray! Also, the packaging is so retro-girly!
