This was a big disappointment. First, the entire package was only slightly bigger than a deck of cards! Second, the glosses themselves were really hard to apply. It took several "dips" to get any amount of product onto the wand. The colors were all way too sheer with no noticeable shimmer of shine. The Wine color was the only one that was wearable. This one's going back to Sephora.

I'm another one who likes these! The size is actually quite decent in my eyes (since I almost never use anything up), and I really love the doe foot applicator. The colours are beautiful, and I like the look and feel of Lip Polish in general. Some of these can be quite sheer when applied, but I find the colours that go on the most sheerly happen to be the ones I'd probably never wear in a more opaque form anyway (eg. the bright pink). So that works out well for me! But if your lips are super pigmented or you prefer a thicker gloss formula - stay away.

This set offers a great variety for a very reasonable price, and as I can't seem to find some of these colours in the regular line (like the plum and berry shades) I'm glad to have it!

Well, the colors and packaging specifics have been thoroughly discussed. I am actually very happy with these lip polishes. The doe foot applicator is nicer than the brush for me, it doesn't apply as heavily, which I like. These are 2x the size of the Lola and Sugar minis. I think that is perfect, more than trial size, and the potential to actually use a product up! The color selection is nice, a couple brights, some pale neutrals and some deeper neutrals, all sheer. I prefer my glosses to be sheer, so they are perfect for me. BUT if you like more pigment, skip these. I am also thrilled that they have sticker labels on the bottom, so often sets don't have labels.

I also bought this kit because I thought it would be a good intro to LORAC lip polishes and there was a nice color selection.

First off - these are TINY, and there's a spong applicator in them instead of a brush. They smell like something rancid and don't taste very good either. Kind of chemically.

The colors are all SO sheer that it's ridiculous. Even the darkest colors in the kit were just stains on my lips and the "hot pink" one didn't show up at all.

The texture is thin, watery and the color wears off after 2 hours. This was a horribly mediocre product. I'm going back to my MAC lipglasses!!

I bought this set because I have never used Lorac Lip Polish before and this seemed like a good way to start. I usually wear Stila Lip Glaze, so these Lip Polishes were so light compared to them that I felt like I wasn't wearing any gloss. I like how natural they look. I prefer to apply them with a lip brush, but the applicator isn't too bad in a pinch. Perfect size to take along, good price, great holiday treat!

I love this set. The holiday lip gloss set comes with 8 mini glosses. The packaging is about 4 1/2 by almost 4 1/2. The 8 glosses total weight is .68 fl oz. /20 ml., and retails for $25. The colors are LKB-1, mauve pink shimmer, a light frosty pink shade. LKB-2 Rose Shimmer, a shimmer rose shade. LKB-3 Peachy Pink Shimmer, an almost coral shimmer. LKb-4, A hot pink shimmer. LKB-5 Golden Beige Shimmer, a light frosty peach shimmer. LKB-6 Toffee Shimmer, a nude brown shade. LKB-7 Raisen, is a matte burgandy, and LKB-8 Wine, that has a little more purple undertone(cooler) than LKB-7 which has a more red undertone (warmer). The colors have the same minty scent and thin texture of the original Lorac Lip polishes. Since they are thin and not sticky, they dont last as long as some glosses, but I still love the high gloss you get from these. Each little bottle has .08 fl oz or 2.5 ml of product. IT has a wand felt tip brush v. the original full size jar nailpolish type brushes. A full size lip polish has 23 oz and 6.8 ml of product and retails for $17 each so i think the holiday set is actually a good deal. Great little bottles for your pocket! The colors are all very sheer. Even the darkest shades give a sheer hint of color but its got enough pigment that i see color. They are not all clear like alot of the ones in the Sugar mini set. I really like this and just took off one point since they dont last as long as sticky glosses. Love this Limited edition holiday 2004 set!

I just got this yesterday. I am no that impressed, thusfar. To be fair, I will come back and update my review as I try each gloss. The glosses are very mini, but exactly what I was expecting; I find it a good deal to try so many dif. colors. The applicator is a sponge, not a brush, like the other polishes.

Today, I tried LKB3. This has little pigment on my lips--just looks shiny. Not loving it. LBK2 is a very pretty rose color--like this much better. We're up to 50/50!

EDIT--I stopped trying with these & returned the set. This is the biggest purchasing disappointment I've had this year :(

Total RAVE! I LOVE this set. Every color is gorgeous and wearable. I found the texture to be on the thinner side, similar to Too Faced Juicy Jewels in consistency, imo. They're a nice break from my usual so-sticky MAC and Stila glosses. They have a slight cooling mint effect, but it isn't too noticeable; it's pretty pleasant in fact. I do wish these shades were part of the regular line, because I'd like to be able to repurchase when I use them up. But these are a great value, as you get a good amount of product. They're definitely small, but not as small as the mini Sugar and Lola glosses, for example. 5 stars - these are one of the must-buys for holiday!

Ok, to give this fairness, I did not purchase this but I did test it at the Sephora counter. These are not lip polishes (texture is heavier like Smashbox glosses) and ironically, so is the packaging. These do not have a brush applicator but the standard issue sponge tips. I wasn't impressed at all and put it back even though most of the colors seemend wearable.
