I generally have a very poor opinion of Givenchy's cosmetics so when I got there gloss in 402 as a gift (a very sheer peachy beige colour) I kindda left it aside for a few months.

I've recently gotten into the beige lips thing so I pulled this out. it has a nice consistency to it, a little sticky but not as a bad as MAC glosses. the smell is.... odd to say the least but I don't dislike it.

in general a decent gloss that offers good coverage and long lasting. still will not re-purchase as I'm not a big fan of sticky gloss.

I have this gloss in 401 which is the transparent shade, don't ask me why I bothered to get it in a transparent shade when I can get it at a drugstore for much less $, also I bought it to replace the Dior Addict transparent gloss that I had which was sticky as hell.

As a brand, I like Givenchy. But for its makeup, I find them very disappointing. I also own the Givenchy Magic Kohl in Black and it smudges so easily I have raccoon eyes in an hour.
For this gloss, it smells good but it is very sticky. It is moisturizing for sure since it's sticky, but whenever your hair gets onto your lips, it's so hard to pull it off your lips, you almost struggle, it's THAT bad. And, after a while, I noticed that it leaks? The thing is, I put the gloss standing up on top of my vanity drawer, and I've never put it down horizontally, but still, every time I pick it up, it leaves a square gloss print at the bottom of the tube, messing up with my vanity drawer. I noticed that it leaks from the side but I don't know why it's leaking. I will not purchase this product again, since the shades are also pretty limited, if I want a sticky gloss, but a one with a better stopper, I'll go for the Lancome Color Fever Gloss or the NARS glosses.

I don't think that Sun Cocoa (a limited color for Summer 2010) is worth it's own thread, but it is definitely worth buying. Those who loved a Fall 2008 (or was it 2007?) Kiss Kiss lipstick in Brun Jazzy by Guerlain, your fave color is back in a decent gloss form. It is more plummy-purple than plain dark brown with a considerable amount of multi-colored glitter (which makes it quite close to Jazzy Brown), shall be applied with a light hand and is quite wearable even for informal office wear. Since this color is somewhat rare, it may be worth stocking up. I am usually into Chanel's Glossimers (129 Cosmos being my favourite), and this is quite comparable, even with more coverage and just a tiny bit better staying power. Ah, and the smell is more appealing to me. The glitter particles do not disturb my lips. Well, I like it alot.

Me: Dior 202/Guerlain 13 Rose Naturel, green eyes, dark brown hair

Goes on smooth. Not too thick and gummy. Has a suttle sparkly shine. A luxe gloss worth the price.

While it seems I am in the minority, I really dislike this gloss. I own it in 416 crystal, and it was given to me as a gift. In the package it looks bright pink with purple glitter. on, it is clear, sticky, and gritty. I do like clear glosses, and it stayed on longer than most, (hence the two instead of one) but ive worn it maybe twice and i just find it unpleasant.

I am SO sad one of my go to pop glosses is discontinued. I loved Fizz Peach, such a beautiful gloss on top of lipstick. It was a beigy peach with gold glitter, very understated and beautiful. :( I love Givenchy's use of color. Some of their colors seem odd, but on they are striking. If anyone has this item available to swamp, let me know! It is sold out EVERYWHERE since it's discontinued.

This is my favorite lip gloss. I have probably 5 tubes of it located in various places central to my life. I like the smell (some don't - I don't like my lip glosses to taste like food) and looooove the consistency. It is thick, shiny, and stays on for a long time. I wear it in Pep's Pink which looks like a weird purpley pink but is so so pretty on. Applicator is fine but it's hard to get out the gloss remaining at the end of the tube. Love!

I just got this in the orange fizz whatever color. It's a straight up orange with tons of little orange, darker orange, gold, and green sparklies. It's a kind of strange concept, but it turns out beautifully on the lips. I wear it over pretty much any lipstick and it gives it a nice dimension. The thing I like best about this gloss is that it's a unique idea executed perfectly. This could easily be totally bad-the sparkles gritty, the gloss overly sticky, sparkles getting everywhere-but it's not, and the sparkles aren't overpowering, just enough to give the gloss aesthetic interest. The packaging is cute, standard, but fairly small for the price. The one thing I don't like about it is, when I apply this gloss over a lipstick, the doe foot applicator always gets grimy with the lippie.

I got this in Moving Plum and it is one of the prettiest reddish/plum glosses I have ever tried!! It gives my lips the perfect flushed red color without looking as if I had on a ton of lipstick/gloss. I have dark eyes, and olive skin, and it goes very well with my skin tone. The shade looks like it would go well on most skin tones. I got this based on an article I read about Liv Tyler using this to give her lips the gorgeous red, 'i just ate a popsicle' look. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have this in Plum by Night and I love it. The packaging is uber cute and it smells sooo good. In the tube it's a deep plum w/lots of sparkles but on your lips it's much more understated, yet I like the color payoff. Not too sheer, not too full and the sparkles are much more subtle. What I really like about this lipgloss is that it makes my lips so soft and doesn't ball up on my lips as the day goes on (you know what I mean? When really sticky lip gloss kinda globs up on you? Maybe I'm just nuts). I like to put a layer of Stila's Lip Glaze stick in Plum on first, then blot and put this gloss on. Makes my teeth look whiter and compliments my skin really well. It was my first Givenchy lip gloss purchase and won't be my last!

I have this in Flashy Fuschia. It's beautiful and smells good. The colour is not so bright on the lips as it looks in the tube. I use it on top of fushia lipstick as well as on its own and it looks great both ways. The price is what's keeping me from giving it a perfect score.

Bought this in #452, "Exciting Coral." I don't think it's aptly named, as the shade is more of a matte caramel peach. It's a little too sheer to wear alone but it does add a beautiful finish to nude lipstick. The staying power is average. There's certainly nothing wrong with it but I'm not sure it's worth $23 when there are so many beautiful glosses (Shu, MUFE, Clinique) that do the same thing in a cheaper price range.

I just got Plum by Night and Rose by Night, both from the Holiday 08 collection. They are beautiful...Plum by Night is my favorite of the two. On my lips it looks like a shiny/sparkling berry color rather than plum. It's very pigmented and not sticky at all. Rose by Night is a sparkling sheer pink. I would definitely get them again, or at least try the other colors since these are the only two I own.

I got it yesterday in Ibiza Pink (LE) and wore it all day today. I'm not very impressed. It's a little sticky compared to my favourite Chanel Glossimer and Dior Gloss Show and has a plain artificial smell. Although sheer, the colour turned out too bright for my pigmented lips, rather fuchsia than pink and builds up when you add a layer, and you have to add a layer because the shimmer wears out really fast. To cap it all, my lips feel dry now.
It's my first Givenchy gloss, shame it's kind of turned me off their other glosses. I may try the other colours in the future, but the Givenchy counter won't be the first one i'll visit when shopping for glosses.

i have this in fizz peach, a light neutral peach. the gloss itself is very very much alike to the dior glosse...smell, color, texture..everything. one tiny difference is that givenchy glosses are a bit less sticky which makes them not last as long. love the colors still and would buy again.

Very smooth and comfortable on lips, not sticky. My lips feel moisturized when I wear this gloss. I think it's a really good gloss and absolutely worth the sum.

I have this in #454 Flashy Fushsia and retails for SGD$33. The color is gorgeous with excellent color pay off. The color looks very bright pink in the tube but upon application it became more purplish hence true to its name FUSCHIA. It last really well without being sticky. Even when the glossiness fades, the color remains. But hmm.. I think this has an after taste * Is it just me?* which I HATE but Im giving this a chance coz the color is so so beautiful and the packaging is real slick. Will try the other colors..
