I love Scott Barnes packaging style.. It looks very chick and expensive ha ha, which is good.. I almost scream out seeing the
I got it a few weeks ago but since I have too many eyeshadows alrd so I didn't bother trying it on. But then today, I was so free that I decided to play around with some color I got and omg, this one is just so nice. It's just a shimmer light gold that's even perfect for me applying it alone. I'm thinking of ordering some more from his line.

The best eyeshadow I have ever found to compliment my eyes. I have green eyes and ahve been searching for colors that go with them, and all I've ever really worn was shimmery browns and finally I found scott barnes maharishi!!!!! I adore this color, I usually only put a light dust of it on, but I think a little heavier wouldnt hurt either. Everyone with green or hazel eyes needs to purchase this eyeshadow! Silky in texture and very pigmented! I would buy again!

i absolutely love this color (as i do all sb products). not a color i would have picked out myself but when it was applied at the counter, i fell in love. so subtle and yet somehow a little different. applies like a dream. sb blows all other shadows out of the water

I bought this sight-unseen, and the color turned out to be a dead ringer for Chantecaille Copper, which is one of my faves. Both are fab!

First, let me say when i finally saw this i was SO disaapointed. I mean i already have a meeeellion other copper shades and hardly wear them because most turn an unflattering orangy rust.
Maharishi does not. in fact, on my lids it is not copper or bright at all. It is the prefect your lids but definitely better tan with copper and gold and bronze highlights, not shimmery, sparkly, frosty, crepey, just glowy and perfect. I look like a celebrity with this, which explains how j lo always glows. I think for medium to dark skin you'd have to wear this wet or use as a highlighter rather than a base color. Scott barnes e/s are the best. I like them better than even my chantecaille shine, UD, shu and cle de peau (don't get me started on how chanel and dior and most armani sucks in comparison).
these e/s apply like a cream and set like a powder, but with no chalkyness, flakey powderiness or crepeyness.
EVery women deserves to own at least one scott barnes e/s. If you have lighter skin, I recommend this one!
p.s. these are ALOT of pruduct for 20 dollars more than twice what you get in urban decay eyeshadows and also bigger than chantecaille eye shades.

Maharishi is a pale goldish copper. Not really a colour I reach for on most days, but there's just something about this shade that makes it special. I've been buying a lot of Scott Barnes lately, and I think that for the moment, I like Maharishi best out of all the other shadows I have from the line. It's just so effortless, so creamy and a pleasure to use.

This color is so soft and natural... but better! It makes my green eyes pop with dimension and color. SB eyeshadows are by far the best I've ever used and I also feel like this may be the nicest color I've ever come across (YES I SAID IT, THE BEST!) I feel that strongly about the quailty, color, and packaging. Every woman deserves to feel the soft almost creamy powder touch of a SB eyeshadow at least once in their lives! The blendability is great too. I have seen jessica simpson wear a color that looks like this one.. copper.goldish.. kind of like a darkened sunset. Beautiful!

This is definitely a lids-but-better color. My problem is I'm a reasonable medium shade(BB Natural, LM Sand) but this just disappears, its a light copper shade but just doesn't do more for me than a swipe of liquid foundation on the lid. Too bad because everything else about the line is fab (the color palettes make me squeel! lol)

My HG e/s- well, for the moment.
This is the perfect goldish/coppery color for me- pigmented without looking too intense for daytime. I simply sweep this color from lash line to crease and that's it. Just enough to brighten the eye area w/o looking powdery.
I usually like cream shadows, but prefer the ease of application of powders. Well, somehow Scott Barnes has captured the best of both worlds. The texture on these shadows is really, truly unique. They apply like powder but w/the soft glow of a cream. Amazing. I also have Lilly, Chocolate, Sable, and Velvet. This is by far my favorite so far!!! UPDATE 10/07 Recently rediscovered this, and YES, it is still GLORIOUS. The texture is wonderful and is so long-lastingly glowy. Love.

According to Scott Barnes' SA, this is their best-selling eyeshadow. Quality-wise I can see why. Hands down he has the best e/s range out there, but colorwise, I find I don't reach for this as often as I do my Sable, Urban Legend and Princess. Maybe it's because it doesn't show up as much on my AAB, NC35 skin. On the crease it doesn't contour much, just adds a nice copper glow. It works better as a highlighter, and I suppose it would look awesome on lighter-skinned gals. A great everyday, daytime color thanks to its subtlety, but not my HG in the range.

Another great eyeshadow from Scott Barnes. As usual, the texture and pigmentation are fabulous.
Maharishi is a medium copper color with a shimmery satin-like sheen. Not too orange and not too metallic. It makes my eyes stand out, which I wasn't expecting because they're generally not my best feature.
A definite repurchase.
For reference, I'm NC20 and brown hair and eyes.

The color is just okay. There are other goldish e/s I like better that are more complex.

This is a pale copper or light brown orange color. It is very subtle and soft and blends in nicely as I am finding all of Scott Barnes eyeshadows do, if I could describe this is one word, it would be soft, not in texture but how they look on your skin. This color is gorgeous and lights up my eyes. It shows up well on my fff-mmm skin. It doesn't necessarily bring out or play down my green/blue eyes. If I had to compare this to another color I would say MAC Melon Pigment is a close cousin.

This is a gorgeous shimmery golden tan colour. Long-wearing as well. Nice to highlight the brow bone as well.
