Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
Left shade: coral with peach undertones
Middle shade: caramel-bronze with peach undertones, satin finish
Right shade: golden peach with pearl finish
Colors - The three shades are very complementary. IMHO they are best used as blush-bronzer-highlighter, respectively. Well pigmented; very soft, silky texture. Usually I wear either the left or right shade as blush, plus a dash of the middle as bronzer. Works well with my AAB/NC25 coloring.
Comparisons - The left shade looks nearly identical to the left shade in the Chic Palette in Samba. The middle shade is similar to the right shade in Chic Palette in Brandy Wine, but the one in Brandy Wine is bolder and more vibrant. The right shade reminds me of NARS Torrid or Deep Throat.
Packaging - Palette with three rectangular pans in a line and full-length interior mirror. Sturdy construction with squared corners. Blush pans are generously sized. My only gripe about the construction is that the lid is not secured - there is not a lock or clasp or magnet to keep it closed. Looks great on the vanity but this palette has to stay at home.
Overall - Great for warm skintones. Definitely looks like something JLo would use!

I got this palette in a swap and it went downhill from there....I needed to have all of the SB blushes. I have all but Venus- and I think I'll be okay. Honey is very natural- dupable...but the quality is unique.

I visited a local boutique to see the Scott Barnes line in person. The pics I've seen of Honey Chic Palette look more muted that the colors are IRL. For one, the deepest shade - a warm bronze - is shimmery. The medium shade is a deep terracotta rose. The last shade is a pretty peachy tan with shimmer. On my MAC C3 skin, the shades were a bit warm, but the MA suggested using a fluffy brush to disperse the color. And rather than swirl the colors together, she suggested that I use the lightest shade closer to my nose, the medium shade on my applies, and the deepest shade as a contour. She then blended and sheered out the bronze using a latex wedge. The result was a beautiful, peachy golden glow. In daylight, however, the colors did look too peach/orange against my pasty skin. I'll probably use it at night and look forward to summer when my skin gets more tan for daytime use. Highly recommend! I see why Honey Chic palette is the #1 seller of all the palettes!

Scott Barnes never really appealed to me -- I think it was his association with JLo and pretending to be a superstar in his own right that turned me off. But anyway, while shopping with a fellow MUAer, she insisted I get this palette. I obliged and lordy, these colors suit me! The coral matte blush is my favorite, but it's pigmented so I have to be careful to tap the blush, lest the brush pick up too much color. The coppery shade is too dark for me to use as a blush (I'm a LLL), but it makes a nice eyeshadow. And the pale pure peach -- paler than NARS Deep Throat -- has a fine silver shimmer to it. I use the coral and the pale peach together most often, although they look fine on their own. Once I'm more tan, I'll swirl all three colors together and give that a try.
$45 for three pans that each contain 5 grams of product.

I past by Victoria's Secret the other day and saw that the SB display was almost empty. I asked the SA if they were discontinuing his product line for the store, and they said yes. So I rushed to pick up the last few remaining blush palettes after reading such great reviews on it. With my light yellow skin tone, I felt that the Honey palette would look better than the others, and it does look great! At first I was reluctant because of the $45 price tag, but I figure, why not? I won't get another chance to try his products [unless I order online].
The packaging is excellent, and very sleek. The lightest color [meant for highlighting] is fairly similar to Milani's Luminous and like NARS Orgasm stripped of it's pink tones; a pure light shimmering peach [shimmer nearly undetectable -- and I have large pores]. The middle shade, the darkest, is more for contouring, and it is a bronzey deep peach shade with shimmer. For someone with fair skin, this could double as a bronzer if you use a light hand. The last color, a bright coral peach, is matte, and I suspect this is the blush meant for the apples of the cheek for a fresh pop of color. All of these colors are very, very pigmented, and I ended up looking like a garden gnome dusting it on the first time. Remember, use a light hand!! I find these can also be used separately, and even on the eyes. Very pretty. However, those with pink skintones might end up looking too orange, so pick the palettes accordingly. I also have breakout-prone skin that's unnaturally and ridiculously oily, but these still gave me a great flush throughout the day. Scott sure knows his stuff. I love his line!

I have very pale celtic skin and bought this palette from QVC in the UK as the colours on screen looked lovely. They are lovely in real life too, but my only problem would be that the two darker shades are too strong for me and are therefore barely touched, whereas I am now beginning to see the silver at the bottom of the tin in the palest, most shimmery shade. Despite that I seem only to be using a 3rd of what I purchased I have still given this an overall rating of 5 lipsticks, becasue it is such a lovely product; very finely milled and therefore soft end even in application, and the level of shimmer is just right for someone getting on a bit (46 :-( ). Having seen the other palettes in this range I just wish Scott would do one or both of the following; i) make a multi compact with all the shimmer/palest options together or ii) make a bigger size single version of just the shimmer colour.
I would agree with other posters however who acknowledge that this is a very generous product, and even whilst using only a portion of it am finding it lasting a long time. Well worth purchasing.

By far the best blush I have ever used in my life. I've used Chanel Irreele, Chanel Joues Contrast, Bourjois Pastel Joues, and NARS Powder Blush on regular rotation and they've been nice blushes. I can't even remember what prompted me into trying the chic palette as I have never read any blush reviews on this board. However, I decided to try the Honey palette as it seemed the most versatile to me and I couldn't be any happier. I was just so impressed with the packaging size (I was expecting half the size that it actually was), impressed with the huge mirror in the palette, and impressed with the colors in it. I can even use them each on their own as well as combined because the color is so great on me. Then I tried it on and it was LOVE! The powders each went on so smooth and pigmented that I actually felt I had to pinch myself. I have since forgotten about the Chanel, Bourjois, and NARS blushes that I have used in the past and from now on, it's Scott Barnes all the way. And the price? It was hard for me to swallow at first, but now that I know what great quality these blushes are and how much you get, it is no longer an issue with me. I used to apply blush because it made me look good, but now it's just plain fun because I found one I'm excited about and that's just what makeup should be! Fun!

After reading all the reviews on this particular color I was very excited to see for myself how it will transform my sallow/olive skin into this sunkissed, golden look. I found the colors to be too warm/orange for my taste. The lightest color, pinky/peach highlighter, is decent but the other two are just too warm. I was expecting more of a neutral beige to balance out the warmth but two of the three colors look orange and brown to me. I know I am in the minority here but I just found it made my already sallow skin look more sallow. I think for the price you get quite alot of product but I just havent found the right color.
Keep in mind I called this order in and the SA wasnt exactly that helpful or experienced in the line so that didnt help matters.
I definitely would like to explore other colors but need to see it in person.

Already had Samba so I thought I didn't need this, but leave it to Scott Barnes to create a huge lemming for yet another peach blush! If you're a MAC NC30 and above, Honey's got your name written all over it! The palette contains more orange-based peaches than Samba, which is more pink-based. The middle pan has the dark contouring shade, a terra-cotta brown with a slight sheen. The left pan has the main blush shade, a velvet peach. The right pan has the highlighter, a pearly light orange. Be careful with the application of this richly pigmented blush! My first heavy-handed try at contouring resulted in a Krusty the Clown streak down my cheek. Since then, one light swirl with the blush brush suffices, and I leave the house glowing like a movie goddess!

I just came back from the mall where I usually glanced over the Scott Barnes counter but I'm so glad I took a look this time. I've been after the elusive golden peach bronze blush ... most either turn too orangey or too brown. I'm a MAC NC30. This showed up beautifully and this can work for a lot of skin tones.
This blush palette is 3 blushes in one... one is a burnished bronze, one is a warm peach, and the other is a sunny apricot. The MA tapped the brush on the bronze and warm peach and ... WOW, talk about sun kissed glow! Another combo she recommended is combining the warm peach and sunny apricot for a sunny spring peach colour. For fall times, she recommended using the apricot and burnished brown to give a deeper warmer colour. It's VERY versatile.
The blush is so pigmented, soft, and silky. I love this blush.. I used to rave about Nars all the time but now I can add Scott Barnes to this as well !

LOVE IT!!! i've had this since last september when scott first came out with his line. i use this everyday and it gives me a glow that no other blush could offer. it is a tad pricey, but definitely worth it since you get 3 blushes that will last you a long time. i highly recommend this product... this guy knows what he's doing.. he was the one behind the famous j.lo glow!

I've got the chic palette in samba which is a must - have and decided to get honey after reading all the raves. It is a beautiful blush ,with a light peachy pan (with cool toned shimmer, which I don't really like) , a bronze pan and a coral pan.I don't like blending them together but use the light peach atop the cheekbones, the bronze on the apples and the coral underneath.I love the bronze pan so I hope to be getting the sundance palette soon.I'm not keen on the others, there's nothing special in those shades IMO

After the success of Samba I decided to give the Honey palette a try. I was looking to buy a bronzer/blush so I bought this for the summer. I actually prefer the Samba blush tones & don't reach for the Honey that often (usually I just swipe the middle color which is sort of like a bronzer-for that reason). Otherwise wouldn't repurchase.
EDIT:Nov2009 I still have this & actually really love this now! I've almost hit pan with the middle shade (bronze/peach). These shades look the best with my colouring (MAC NC30). Only gripe is that the lid broke off at the hinges.

Hmm..don't know why I haven't reviewed this yet. Scott Barnes' blushes are really great. I can't find anything wrong with them, they have everything I look for in a blush; nice texture, pigmentation, and flattering shades. The Honey palette is no exception. It has three shades that complement each other well. The first shade is a matte peach, the second shade is a peachy brown thats kinda glowy, the third shade is a light peach highlighter. You can probably use them each on their own, but I usually swipe my brush across the first two, apply, then swipe across the third and apply to the top of my cheekbones to highlight. On my GGG skin it looks bronzey peach. I also like the packaging of his blushes. Its very sleek and comes with a huge mirror on the inside. For reference they are 15g/.53 oz and retail for $45.
PS The palette swatches on his site are pretty good (dont give you an idea about the shimmer/glow though)
