I love the Glazewear glosses. My favorite color is Brown Sugar. They've discontinued Teddy Bear, but it was beautiful too. I found an original formula Raisin Glaze in a makeup caddy last night (brand new but older) and decided to try it. The texture was light and glossy with fabulous shimmer. BUT, I personally think of 'Raisin' as a brown with a hint of purple. On me, this looked purple with a hint of brown. Too purple for me. The shimmer shade was pretty though. I may try it again however as this was an older tube. The shade might be better in the newer formula.

What I like: Everything but the actual color. The texture, staying power (for a lipgloss) and the smell are wonderful. It is very well-pigmented.
I don't like the color on me. I ordered Buttered rum at the same time as this and when I got it, I just assumed this would be the buttered rum. There is nothing remotely reminiscent of raisins about this. It's a shimmery dark brown almost bronze color. Imagine "O" from MAC without any of the rose/pink in it. It's quite blah on my complexion and washes me out. It also makes me look like I have wine-stained teeth. I do, however think this would be beautiful on VERY dark complexions. I am very fair with red hair and green eyes.

This is my second Glazewear purchase from e-bay ($3.00, including shipping!), and I love the shade. This is a richly pigmented liquid lipstick, a true raisin shade with a shimmering lustre. It looks beautiful both day and night, I have had a number of people ask me what my lipstick is the past few days. It is moisturizing, and yes it comes off on your glass and with kisses, but it's a pleasure to reapply. Would absolutely repurchase this perfect fall shade.
