My first angled brush and i love it both for the eyebrows and for fluid line. Its perfect for eyebrows as its thin and dense and allows you to shape you brows perfectly. As for fluidline i needed something firm as i apply it along the lashline for very natural look and again this brush perfetc for that too. Going to buy the second one because it would be easier for me to have one for brows and another for eyes. BTW i bought mac 266 and i returned it because its nothing comparing to 208.

The 208 brush works a treat to the eyebrows!! You can really work your eyebrows to any shape, I particularly like making my brows square and end with a flick. Because the brush is so narrow you have plenty to work with and blending into your brows so it doesn't have a full on fake look. :)

It is a good quality brush for working with your brows. Unlike MAC angled eyeliner brush this one has stiffer bristles which allow to really blend eyebrow color being it either brow pencil or a shadow. The shape of the brush is good for working in between brow hairs as well as using the flat edge or the tip.
It lasts a really long time, doesn't shed.

this brush is perfect for making my brows pop. i use it to add and blend concealer under or occasionally over my brows. it's firm enough to get a strong line but soft enough to blend out the concealer. i use mac's eyebrow pencils. i love spiked! the combination of spiked and concealer with this brush gives me a perfect brow even when it's time for a threading. my guess is that this brush is pretty long lasting but i would replace if needed.

Mac's angled 208 is my favorite brush for eyebrows. It's the must have tool to define. I love apply powder and concealer to my brows with it. I would definitely buy again, because I'd like to have more than one on hand.

I personally use this for brows. It is lovely quality and does it's job well. It is a very precise brush. My eyebrows are strange, they can be naturally thin or thick at times, but this brush works no matter what mood my brows are in :-)

I just dip it in various MAC eyeshadows(depending how dramatic i'm feeling), fill in my brows, brush over some clear brow set and i'm good to go!

I've heard it can be a bit scratchy to use for fluid line. I've used it to apply darker eyeshadows to my upper lash line and found it works fine (am still yet to try it with fluid line) If this alarms you, maybe opt for the 263 or 266(which i've heard work well for brows, also)

Overall, the MAC brushes I own don't fail to live up to their name, good quality and make for a beautiful application, the 208 is no exception.

I actually use as a liner brush. I can't use these tiny thin brushes for that because I just can't get it right with them (my eyeliner goes all over the place and the line looks horrible!). I guess I will never be able to master the brushes that are meant for that purpose. This one is perfect, thin and precise enough (and not scratchy at all unlike a lot of regular brow brushes). I can finally draw a nice even straight line! I have even mastered *the flick* :) I definitely recommend it to everybody who has similar (annoying!) problems :) Even though I purchased it from a duty-free MAC store the price is disappointing to say the least but I would definitely buy it again.

I was using the 266 and after purchasing and using the 208 I definitely notice a positive difference. I find the 208 to have stiffer and thinner bristles which makes my brows look even better. The 208 allows more precision and is a better option for my thin and spares brows.

I just love this brush! The size and shape of the bristles are perfect, and offer complete and precise control. I use it mainly for filling in my brows with a powder, and applying MAC eyeshadow in Carbon under my water line. I have owned my for a few years and have never had a shedding issue. A must have ladies, especially if filling in your eyes brows is part of your beauty routine!

I use this brush to apply MAC fluidline blacktrack gel eyeliner (both on the upper lash line and upper and lower water line) and it works good. It's not the most soft brush but it doesn't hurt either, I believe if it was more soft it wouldn't draw such straight lines. It does a pretty good job, but I also believe there are better ones for what I use it for.

I LOVE THIS BRUSH! I use it for my eyebrows with the MAC espresso eyeshadow and it works really good for me. The brush is so precise and not that hard to work with. Usually other eyebrow brushes takes in a lot of product in the brush, but this one doesn't! So you dont have a hard time cleaning it. It's very small and skinny which is great so you have control over it. The price is $20.00 in the US and I think it's kind of pricey for such a tiny brush but it's worth it I guess.. The bristles are really soft and not too flimsy. Definitely get this 208 brush! YOULL LOVE IT FOR YOUR BROWS!

I originally wanted to buy the 266, I actually told the sa to get me the 266, but instead I got this by mistake. They do look somewhat alike so I dont mind. Someone here said it is shorter so that is a good plus! I have small asian, shrimp eyes so I need super thin brushes to work with. This gives me a nice thin line. Unfortunately, it is a bit scratchy. I'm not used to feeling something this scratchy on my eye at all! I might just go and exchange this with the 266. Then again, maybe not. I noticed that this has almost the exact shape and size of the hairs on my ELF angled brush- the one that came with their cream liners! The ELF is a tad thicker and softer though. If ELF had a bigger version of that brush, I'd buy it! I'm becoming a brush collector now so I've started to collect MAC brushes one by one because people swear by them. Great buy! edit: The scratchy-ness is irritating! I'm returning this for the 266. I still have to layer it on on coz the is super thin anyway... So if you want a no fuss, brush and dont mind the extra scratch. This is fine. Otherwise, opt for the 266 instead.

Everyone should go out and buy this brush!! It's amazing! I fill in my brows and use black gel liner literally everyday for years. And no, I don't fill them in lightly and quickly-I like to make my brows look Audrey Hepburn thick and change their shape, while still keeping them moderately natural looking. I like my brow brush to give me precision so I can get the exact shape I want, and this brush is definitely the best, most precise one I have found. I used to use the Mac 266 for my brows but it's just too big and not precise enough. Compared to the 266, this brush is slightly stiffer, much smaller and thinner. I generally draw in my brows w/ a brow pencil roughly and then use this brush to feather and push it around to the specific shape I need-this brush is great with pencil brow products. I like to make the arch to end of my brow darker so I'll often take this brush straight onto a black eyeliner and fill in the ends with it. It works well very well with powder as well.


This brush is equally amazing for gel liner. Everyday, I use it on my brows first and then eyeliner w/ no problems. I used to use a Mac 210 to draw on the line and then smudge out the top of the line w/ a separate brush. I've been able to do both w/ just this one brush. If I start w/ a small amount of product, I can get it very close to the lash line and blend the product up, creating that smudged out smokey effect. Then I can go back in and make it blacker along the lash line and smudge it up and its the same effect of a smoked out gel liner but with one brush!!! It is much faster to make a winged out liner with this brush than w/ a script style brush like a Mac 210. It takes getting used to if you've been using a script brush but once you do its much much faster. I do a thin to thick winged out line everyday and now w/ this brush, I can do both eyes in a minute whereas it used to take me so much longer w/ the Mac 210. This brush is small enough that you can make a really thin or thick line with it-not something I can do with the Mac 266 since its bigger and thicker. This brush also works with pencil liners. I can line my eyes with a kohl sloppy and fast and then use this pencil to move it to the line I want and then wing out! Fantastic for days I just need to head out in a heart beat.


If you are in the market for a brow brush w/ precision, I would recommend this brush. If you don't need to be too precise but you want to fill them in quickly, I would recommend the 266. As for a liner brush, I would recommend this over the Mac 210 or the Mac 266 whether if you want a thin or thick line this can do it all, and fast!

A good reliable brush. I actually use it with my mac gel liner sometimes if I want a thick line. It doesn't give maximum control, but it does give a really nice thick line if that is what you want!

This is my favorite brush for gel liner application. It's small enough to have control of the line, and big enough not to take forever to draw a line. I use it everytime I use gel liner, and also when I use mixing medium + eyeshadow for a precise line. A couple of weeks ago I misplaced it, and I had to go and buy an extra one, I was so frustrated everytime I needed to draw a line! Anyway, when I found the original one, I was twice as happy, 'cause now I have 2 of these beauties.
