This is actually an update but had to make it a whole new review because I cant get to my old profile. I am actually planning on getting this duo again, (Swappers remorse!) I looked at my older pictures of wearing this duo and also some pics with duo 13 and I found out that this golden matte brown shade made my eye color just POP. It is funny how I always tought that duo 13 was flattering on me but pink and pinky brown looks just really dull on the pics and does not practically do anything for me. And I haven yet stumbled across another brown like this. This one has so much to give for blue eyed girls, due the yellow undertone. Only 4 lipsticks because it does fade a bit.

This duo features a low-shimmer pastel pistachio-gelato green on one side paired with a rich warm chocolate hazelnut (in a velvet finish) on the other. It's not a colour combination I would have thought would work as well as it does... but it does! I use the pale green as a lid wash and it just opens up my eyes nicely; then the hazelnut blended sheerly into the crease and outer corners for subtle definition. I finish with the hazelnut pushed wet into my lashlines, a little clear mascara and the result is polished and natural.
The YSL duos are some of my absolutely favourite eyeshadows. I love the ease of application (they are so soft they practically blend themselves as you apply them) and the elegant richness of colour (never garish). They can be dry-brushed on for a sheer effect, or packed on damp for more vivid colour pay-off. And as the day wears on they melt a little into an oddly soft-gloss luminous finish that is really very flattering on the lids.

Stupid store lighting. I tested these on my hand at the store and the brown looked cooler. So I got it and at home I see it is completey yellow based =( the green does not wow me at all. It does not do much to my eyes. And it does not last long and it creases even with a base. Too sheer also. Will never repurchase these YSL items again.

I intend to buy this on my next excursion to the YSL counter. One shade is a matte almond brown; the other, a shimmery seafoam green. Both colors enhance each other: The green adds depth to an otherwise everyday color, while the brown makes the seafoam wearable. Looks great with Burgundy mascara (YSL's Faux Cils).
