i had been using cetaphil facial moisturizer with spf. i picked this one up when the cetaphil ran out. had been contemplating skin nanny but when i felt how goopy it was i opted for ultralight. yes it does feel a bit heavy, but so did the cetaphil, and it has not given me a breakout. i have noticed that it does really well under my foundation and gives a really smooth, glowing appearance. someone mentioned using with toner water to lessen the heavy feel, this does work nicely if you feel it's a bit too thick.

I got this as a freebie when you spend a certain amount at Lush. I love the light scent. Since it has a sunscreen, I thought it would be good to use on my neck and chest area. I ended up breaking out from it. Now I just use it on my hands and also my feet before bedtime. It's a bit greasy, but it works well to soften.

I tried a sample of this first and I thought it was okay so I went ahead and bought a small bottle. Turns out that it's a lot greasier than I remembered. Too greasy for the face and too expensive for the body. Although I do like the smell.

Initially marketed as a facial moisturiser, I found this too heavy, and it left my skin very greasy. Now it is being sold as a body sunscreen, which is a more fitting use for it.

The reason I wouldn't buy it again is because suncare is about more than just the SPF, which affects your burn time, caused by UVB rays. I wear suncream not because I burn, but because I want to prevent skin damage from UVA rays. I apply this principle to ALL sunscreens, not just lush ones. In the UK, UVA protection is rated on a 5-star system, so I only buy sunscreen which is 5-star (the maximum protection) rated.

I absolutely love this moisturiser. After a long period of not using any chemical sunscreens I decided to go back to them due to the lack of safety info regarding the newer micronised mineral sunscreens. I decided to try this as I am a fan of LUSH and try to use products that are largely natural. I have been wearing this everyday during the Sydney winter - which has had its fair share of sunny days and it has been perfect. I have had alot of comments on my skin - this seems to add a glowing sheen without being greasy. A staple in my daytime skin care regime - love it! packaging sux - but i can handle that because the product is fab

I received a full 8.4 oz size bottle of this free at my local LUSH during my last huge LUSH haul. I would never buy lotion that is this expensive - it costs $50 for 8.4 oz. I was ecstatic that it was free though. I've been using it all over (except face) after shower in morning. My skin stays soft & hydrated the entire day & has a subtle sheen to it. It has an odd smell that does linger on my skin. I haven't really tested the spf factor, because I stay out of the sun but it's nice to know my arms & hands are protected while I'm driving. I think this is an over the top luxury item & can't imagine spending so much $ on lotion.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, this is a great moisturizer. True to its name, Ultralight isn't a heavy-feeling moisturizer; it goes on light but manages to moisturize intensely.

The real reason for the name, however, is that Ultralight offers some protection against sunlight or UV (ultraviolet) light. If you're fair or need a heavy-duty SPF, this is not adequate sun protection for all-day use. However, if you're looking for a good moisturizer that can give you a little protection from incidental sun exposure, this might be for you.

Ultralight may seem a little pricey, but if you're only using it as a moisturizer, a little goes a long way, and the smallest bottle (3.3 oz) gives you over 2x as much product as other Lush moisturizers!

urrgghh, I hate this product. I got given it as a present.

Its feels really oily and makes my skin really shiny only after an hour of putting it on. The only good thing is that it has SPF.

I looked at the ingriedients and omg they put lots and lots of oil in it such as cocoa butter, extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil which clogs pores! ugghh, just why would I want that on my face?!

This product is a waste and is also quite expensive!

Not repurchasing!

I have oily acne prone skin and I started using this product. It turns out the coca butter clogged my pores and gave me breakouts. Although it has spf it takes way to long to absorb. So now I have started using it for my hands. IF you do use the oroduct I wouldn't recomend using it every day.

I bought this to use under powder foundations during the day, and it has worked very well. It absorbs easily and adds sunscreen protection - without the sticky residue that some other SPF lotions leave behind. The packaging is not the most beautiful, but it fits with their line and it does dispense product with no mess or contamination.

Overall: this is not a groundbreaking day lotion, but it is quite good.

I have since started using an spf 30 moisturizer since I am biking around every day. .. Haven't found my h-g so anyone with recommendations please write me! .. But this has a lovely, non-synthetic smell. It is a moderately heavy moisturizer, wouldn't recommend to someone with oily skin.. But I have combo skin and occasional jawline acne, this does not affect it at all. If I use it with a powder foundation everything kinda balances out to a dewy finish. LUSH: Please consider an spf 30 moisturizer, or something!

I bought this because it has SPF 14 in it. Unfortunately, this does leave a rather greasy residue on my face which I'm not too fond of. I stopped using it because I just really didn't like the slick feel on my face and continual use might be harmful. I'm a little disappointed in LUSH's facial products at this point. Ultralight appears to work well on the body though, I'm mainly using it for my hands right now since I've still got a whole bottle and it's still full.

I got a huge sample of this and I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful - delicate, light and softly moisturising, without ever feeling oily or greasy. It really does just sink into skin. I'm not one who generally needs moisturiser and I find this only enhances my skin whenever I use it (mostly after exfoliating). It smells lovely and creamy too. Not to mention the SPF!

I use my sample day and night, mostly after Ocean Salt or a Brazened Honey mask (which are both quite abrasive, hence the need for a nice soothing moisturiser afterwards) and my skin is positively glowing. And so am I! It also goes on lightly before my foundation to ensure a smooth base (I use MAC StudioFix which would show up any dry patches). It really is dreamy soft and I will definitely buy a full pot. Maybe even a HG!

I use Ultralight in combination with Angels on Bare Skin and Breath of Fresh Air. I use Ultralight only on my cheeks and other very dry areas of the face and it has worked really well for me (i have dry cheeks and oily everywhere else).

I thought this was terribly greasy and I cannot understand why they would call this one ultralight, because on my face it is incredibly rich, in a bad way, because it takes hours to absorb. Also, am not fond of all the cocoa butter in it, that can clog pores with too much use. It's good that LUSH finally decided to put a bit of sun protection in one of their creams, though. They should do that more, and with proper protection also, because this is just silly. Try again, LUSH. I liked my skin though, when it finally had absorbed a bit, but all day I can feel I am wearing this, and it's not very comfortable.

I really like this as a day moisturiser. It is light and doesn't make me feel greasy and my makeup goes over it perfectly. My skin is absolutely smooth and even and even when I just have powder on, people have commented that I look perfectly made up. Combined with Celestial which I use at night and the Crash Course mask, my face has never been better. It literally glows. Sunscreen does not agree with me and moisturisers with sunscreen, even worse so I was very glad for this UV ray protecting moisturiser. I seem to be using this alot faster than Celestial though which is strange as I bought them together but that's ok. The pot should last another couple of months at least :) GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY in my opinion :)

When I first tried Ultralight I was a bit skeptical, and it didn't seem to absorb all that well. Then I learned that using a toner water on your face (leaving your face wet with toner) and then putting some Ultralight on over that works WONDERS. Not only does it help the moisturizer sink in better, but it also allows you to use less and doesn't leave your face greasy. I will TOTALLY repurchase this, the ingredients are amazing and it's dirt cheap :)!

i love this moisturiser! i have dermatitis and i always get rashes on my face. however, this is the only moisturiser that i've used that doesn't aggravate my skin. i've tried cetaphil moisturiser which didn't work. the price is quite affordable but the only downside to it is that it doesn't absorb quickly. it's very creamy and it would be better if it was just a light fast absorbing lotion.
