Just a sample and lovin' it
Colour: (dry) cobalt blue | (wet) navy w/hint of violet
Finish: frost
Pigmentation: medium to full
Texture: creamy
It's the perfect shade for a blue smokey eye. Esp if the base colour u want is a bright&dark one. The colour payoff is fantastic over Maybelline CT in Tenacious Teal
A dupe for this is NYX Chrome e/s in Space. Slightly lighter w/o the violet tint but pretty damn close :)

Love this colour! beautiful intense blue, that has amazing pigment and staying power. A little goes a long way, and the container will last me forever. My only complaint is that the pigment can be a little messy, and I don't like the container it comes in.

I bought a jar of this when it was repromoted and I am so happy I did, it is the perfect blue with some silver sparkle throughout. Using this pigment, or its "cousin" naval blue, makes for the prettiest blue smokey eye ever!

I ABSOLUTELY love this pigment. It's one of my favorite colors. Blue Storm is royal blue with blue and silver pearl. The texture is fine and adheres easily. When using it dry, I only noticed a small amount of fallout on my cheeks. I wore this on my lids and lightly sweeped a small amount on my lower lashes. LOVELY!!

I didn't see this as a dark navy like it appears in the jar. When applied it is a light-medium silvery-blue with purple reflects. It's not a bad color, but I was hoping this would be the perfect alternative to a black smokey eye. I tried this with Azreal Blue and Mutiny. I am going to keep playing with this color, until I find something that I can really pair it with. It is a pretty color, just trying to decide what combo that really works with well with it.

One of my favorite pigments. The powder is very fine, so it's one of the easiest I've found to work with to control the amount and application. There's a little shimmer to it, but I'm mostly sold on the color. This is a dark almost-purple blue with a smoky gray to it. Others mention red/violet shimmer, but I really don't see the reddish overtones. I love this as a liner or as an accent color.

I'm not a big fan of pigments, but this one is really pretty. I don't reach for it a lot, but it's a nice color. It's a dark bluish almost dark indigo color. It's pretty easy to blend with other pigments and eyeshadows.

Love, love, love this pigment! It looks very indigo on me, almost more purple than blue, which is just what I wanted-- I can wear it dark for evenings or blend it with a lighter shade for daytimes. It really brings out the green in my eyes. I'd definitely buy this again!

just like naval blue but with red-violet undertones, which looked brown on me...not what i was hoping for. Smooth coverage and no fallout. Pass if you are looking for a 'true blue'

Similar to Naval Blue, but Blue Storm has much prettier pearl to it! Smoked/Navy/Marine blue with purple/violet/red shimmer. Love to wear this with other blues as a liner, crease, or outer-v shade. Wish this was re-promoted. Love the texture of this Pigment, too. :D

Pretty color. I use it occasionally as a liner. It is fun, but definitely not an everyday look. I would not repurchase simply because I use it so sparingly that I will not run out.

Gorgeous dark blue with shimmer - looks great as a liner, and makes a nice alternative to black or gray shadows for a smokey eye.

This is by far my favorite pigment. I had been searching for that perfect blue (for years!) to set off teal green eyes, and this is it! It must be due to the violet undertone of this dark blue shadow, as described by a previous MUAer. I use it with everything--as a finishing touch over whatever color of dry liner I am wearing. Absolutely beautiful! I can actually wear this lightly during the day and the color still comes through. I am sure this will look lovely worn darker at night--would make a stunner smokey eye. I think I might have to buy a backup to this baby, although I imagine this jar will last for years. An absolute must have for green eyed girls.

This is a nice deep shimmery dark blue shade. Very pretty in the crease but really isn't that original.

I love Blue Storm pigment from MAC as eyeliner. The color is simply stunning when I use it to wetline with a little drop of contact wetting solution on my eyeliner brush. In the jar, Blue Storm looks darkish blue, navy blue, but the medium gray steel blue undertone shows up when I use it dry. However, everything changes when I use it wet. Blue Storm becomes a bright, shimmery, electric blue with a hint of violet that really brightens my dark brown eyes when I use it as an eyeliner wetlined. When the blue is too strong, I can smudge the eyeliner to a much softer hint of blue with a slight gray undertone to define my eyes. Lovely. Me: lighter neutral Asian, BE 1.2 Fairly Light/2 Light.

I bought Blue storm on a whim i was actually going to buy cornflower but since i had never seen blue storm at the store b4 i decided i needed to have it in case it wasn't going to be there the next time i went shopping. I love the dark navy blue color this is also a shade i use to line or in the outer V. Great shade to wetline with.

Pretty dark purple-y blue. Goes really nicely with cornflower on me. Easy to blend and has the potential for lots of diversity. A nice pigment.

Love Blue Storm! It's a dark navy blue with very slight purple iridescence like the previous reviewer has said. It looks great with purple eyeshadows or as a smokey blue shade!
