I was looking for a dupe of MAC Budding Lust, a special edition color. This is just a bit to pink of a plum, I like more purple.

I love this shade. I also have MAC Riveting Rose and this what I wish RR was. It's a tad bit lighter but it makes a big difference. The MAC one is a bit creamier but this one isn't bad for a drugstore lippie. I'd buy this again even if I still have Riveting Rose left.

Lovely color, and, as mentioned below, very creamy and nice texture - forgiving in the winter if lips get dry. It's a nice do-able purple, too - even for my pale olive skin, which is sometimes tricky to match. What takes this lipstick to a five, though, is that it BUILDS so beautifully. You can either have a purply shimmery glaze, or a dramatic and rich shiny violet. My go-to when I can't think what else to wear.

This was one of the lipsticks I wore at 14. Im 30 now, and It still pretty. I would buy this again. I remember it being very super creamy, and very "iced" purple, but it is kinda different now.

I think I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I do own "plumalicious" which is a very similar hue to this one. My boyfriend said it looked dark but that was because I was wearing light colored running clothes. It's a lipstick that you have to match your outfitt to. Creamy, pearlescent consistency (my fave!) Fantastic color pigmentation!

Gorgeous color, especially for fair haired blondes like myself. Excellent pigment, can be built up for a more dramatic look, feels like a lip balm and just all around makes me feel good when I wear it. Definitely a color I will repurchase and recommend.

I rarely ask someone what lip color they are wearing (unless they work at a cosmetics counter) but when I saw a co-worker wearing this lovely hue I had to ask. I was surprised that this ulta-chic lady was wearing a drugstore brand, but it really complemented her light hair and skin. I was not disappointed and I am now on my second tube. I find reds hard to wear, but this pinky/purple does a beautiful job as a stand-in for red. Very glamorous, yet not too much for daytime wear.

I found this lipstick a few months ago for $2 at Big Lots. Thought it would be a nice color for fall--had no idea what it would look like on me because I prefer nude lips, but I'm so glad I bought it. This deep frosted purple color is absolutely gorgeous on my yellow undertones. I top it off with a reddish-purple shimmery lipgloss and I'm ready for a night on the town. Most reds look really harsh on me, so I usually find myself steering toward pale-nudy lip colors; however, Iced Amethyst absolutely complements my skin tone and in addition, makes my teeth look super white. What can beat that? My new go-to nighttime lippie!

This is a deep, dramatic pink-violet with subtle reddish glitter--too dark for me for daytime. I have light-medium skin with yellow undertones and dark brown hair and eyes. I think it would work better for me for evenings and parties since it's so striking. I don't think I'll use it enough to have to buy it again though.

For some reason purple just doesn't look good on me. I think this lipstick is just too dark for my pale skin. It's a beautiful color though, but it just doesn't match me. It's a bold, deep purple and lasts all day.

OMG! I cannot believe there's only like 7 reviews on this gorgeous color!
The lasting power is good, the price is good, the color is amazing between wine-pink and purple_ish with frost that is not ridiculous.
I'm NC30 and I'm so GLAD I discover it! Will repurchase for ages to come.

Love it! This one is so lovely...I love the texture of it and the sheen in the formulation is perfect! I love this lippie as a neutral-ish, violet shade for when I play up my eyes excessively and I want something on my lips that is more understated. Amazing shade! I love it! These lippies all seem to be very buildable for different effects...so versatile! Love!

I had high hopes for this color and thought it would look great with my olive skin, but I just cannot make this work. It has too much blue in it for me, and I cannot find a blush that works with it, even though I own dozens of colors. I gave it high ratings because the formula is rich and long lasting and because the color really is pretty and I don't want to deter others. If you have lots of yellow undertones I recommend purchasing from a store that allows returns just in case you can't make it work either.

Okay, dark colors don't scare me but bright colors are another story. This color made me a little nervous, I wasn't sure how this would look with my gold undertones. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. This deep pink purple looked great! The creamy texture of the lipstick is also a big plus. Give it a try!

Yes, yes, yes!!! I wear violet lippies often, especially in the fall and winter, so I have a bunch. Iced Amethyst is a standout though, striking & lovely, and has quickly made it to the top of my "most often worn" list. It lasts well and doesn't dry out my lips. The case is the "old" Revlon one, with the gold accents, which I think is more elegant than the new one. I can see myself using this lipstick up, which is something I seldom do, and would definitely re-buy. I put this in the "dirt cheap" category b/c I bought it at Big Lots for $2 (american). By the way, Big Lots is a good place to find Revlon mu for cheap, often even the LE stuff.

This is a dark, purple-pink with frost. Look really pretty on. One of my favorites. I bought it because I saw it in ALLURE magazine. Feels comfortable on. Good product.

Fabulous! The best color I've found in any drug-store-brand of makeup! It's a gorgeous Amethyst with some sparkle and huge depth! Awesome for dramatics and evening looks!
