This has become my go to daytime lotion, in the unscented version. never breaks me out, which is a lot to ask for for me. It's very light, but it does moisturize. i know some people have complained here that it doesnt moisturize, but in my opinion it is perfect for day , being light and smooth, not greasy. i use a heavier cream at night. If you have super dry skin, this may not be enough, but for anything from oily to dry, i say try it. I used it through the winter and my skin can get dry. This did the job. My only complaints are 1, that I wish the oils in it were certified organic. I was told they use organic whenever possible. and 2, I wish the sunscreen formula of this was unscented and used natural sunscreen, not the chemical kind. I like to add a couple drops of one of my favorite essential oils, like immortelle for an extra special boost and scent.

This is a moisturizer on the lighter side, with a thin-ish, non-creamy consistency. It's not very moisturizing, which is the main reason I won't be repurchasing. Nothing terribly wrong with it, you get a decent amount of product for 10 dollars.

This is a meh product from Earth science. I bought this because I loved their apricot night cream, but the consistency of this cream is more runny. I don't find this particularly absorbing or moisturizing. Will not repurchase

This is a review from me and my partner. I'm 35, have overall normal skin with big pores and a bumpy forehead, and she's 42 with maddeningly perfect skin (meow.). She uses this moisturizer daily and looks radiant, loves how it feels and has bought an extra for the gym. I use it occasionally to mix with my foundation, but prefer not to use it too often. I find it too “brightening” to use in combination with my vitamin C and scrub routines (too much of that makes a person thin-skinned, you know?), but on her – who uses nothing but the ES ginseng face wash and water – it makes her look radiant. We're through our 3rd bottle and this gets 5 lipipes from the both of us.

I love this moisturizer! I was out of my reg moisturizer (cetaphil) and I have been wanting to change up my whole routine into more natural products. I use Trader Joe's Nourish facial cleanser and witch hazel for toner. (when i need it). I was walking through the grocery store and saw this on a table for $3.50. It was on mark down because they are discontinuing it at Fred Meyer. I read the ingredients and thought I would give it a shot. it's awesome. Light, hydrating, natural and does not break me out. I believe it goes for $7, or $8 at Whole foods, so I am amazed it is so cheap. My whole skin care regimen is so cheap now and more natural and my skin is happy. I love this stuff and hope this will be HG, but I have to finish the bottle first!

I have sensitive skin, and I use a rosacea medicine that makes my face break out in one (yes, one!) hive almost every day. I needed a nighttime face lotion that is gentle and soothing. (during the day I use olay complete spf 15 or spf 30 moisturizer. it contains zinc which is soothing.)

I can't believe how difficult it is to find face moisturizers that contain natural soothing ingredients and are also perfume free! this almond aloe lotion is the best I could find. the only downside is that it's not quite moisturizing enough. here is how I fix this:

1. pour some of this lotion into a 1oz jar
2. add approx 8 drops of vegetable glycerin and stir (you can find glycerin in the health & beauty section of any health food store).

glycerin is one of the most basic moisturizing ingredient you can get. you may notice that it's the 2nd or 3rd ingredient on many lotions, esp the ones that are marketed as being non-greasy. if you add too much it can get a little sticky, so you need to find the right balance for you.

I was looking for something greener to replace my Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer and this worked perfectly. My skin changes from normal in the summer to dry in the winter and this works for me year round. Its never too greasy and it never leaves my skin feeling dry. It absorbs quickly, has never irritated my skin, and I love that it's fragrance free. I also have never had a problem with the cap clogging, which often happens to me with this type of packaging. It's not able to combat my super dry skin, but most of the time it works fantastically.

Have been using this as my mostly-daily moisturizer for about a year now and I really like it! Was looking for something with slightly more natural ingredients that wasn't too heavy since my skin can get oily, and this stuff is great. I got the unscented even though fragrance doesn't bother me, and it's pretty light, absorbs quickly, and you don't need to use too much of it. Most importantly it doesn't break me out! My face is not an oil slick by the end of the day after using this, which is great. I will say however, this lotion was too heavy to use in the summer humidity, when my face turns into a complete oil slick. Otherwise it's a good product & I'll probably repurchase when I run out.

As much as i want to like this product, I just can't. The lotion is very smooth, only requires a small amount for your whole face, and seems to soak in right away. I have an oily t-zone and am prone to acne. What were just a couple of barely noticeable blackheads on my forehead exploded into angry red bumps and whiteheads about a week after using this product consistently. I am fairly confident that this product is to blame for the breakout. I looked up some of the ingredients and sweet almond oil (high on the ingredient list) has a comedogenicity score of 2 which isn't bad. The vegetable oil in here has a much higher score. I think that not all of the ingredients were selected with someone whose pores clog easily in mind. Shame, really, because this is a nice moisturizer otherwise. I would recommend for someone who doesn't have an acne/clogged pores problem, but if you do, I wouldn't buy this.

I've used a bottle of this & like it a lot. It absorbs quickly, has a nice unobtrusive fragrance, doesn't break out my skin, & zaps those tanning rays. It's more of a cream in a bottle than a lotion, so at a certain point you just have to take off the cap & tease it out. Manufacturers might have done better to put this in a jar or a pump. All in all, excellent.

Love this stuff! It's lightweight, a whipped texture. A little goes a long way and it does a great job of moisturizing. I have the SPF 15+ version, which is GREAT. I use it every morning. I'm quite acne prone and this has never broken me out or anything.

I love the weight of this moisturizer, it isn't greasy at all and sinks right in leaving my skin hydrated and comfortable. Unfortunately, if I use this every day it makes me break out. I'm trying to alternate it with Complex 15 now so I can finish the bottle but I probably won't buy it again.

I really like the ES Clarifying Facial Wash and Herbal Astringent, so I purchased the fragrance-free version of the Almond-Aloe Moisturizer (without SPF).

Unfortunately, this product didn't work for me. It felt ok on application, but my skin would start to itch after an hour or two, and eventually I broke out.

Yay! I love it when things just do exactly what they are supposed to do!

I bought this at Whole Foods and I think it was the cheapest moisturizer there. It was about $7.99. I chose the unscented kind, it does have a slightly weird smell, but it fades quickly and doesn't bother me. Smells natural.

I love the texture, its very light, spreads very easily but is so hydrating. I have dry skin and this cream offers the perfect amount of moisture. You don't need much which is surprising since its such a cheap product. I like that its in a bottle and not a tub, that was one thing I didn't like about the ginseng moisturizer made by this company.

My skin is clear, moisturized and soft, I will continue using this product and am glad it is so affordable.

I've used this product for 6+ months, and found that this product does a perfect job of moisturizing for me. It's neither drying or greasy, irritating or breaks me out, just a light lotion that brings balance on my oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin. The vitamins and natural ingredients used in the product makes me feel good about using it too, but otherwise, the product does not do anything else which is why I no longer buy it because when summer came, I went through a lot of stress and my skin exploded with acne. So I wanted a treatment lotion that would help treat and moisturize my trouble skin.

I'd say this is best for normal, combination, or sensitive/dry skin. And it's not bad considering it's fragrance-free and costs $10 dollars (and quite a few times my nearest Whole Body has put in sale for $8). But if you are looking for a lotion that treats and moisturizes, I recommend looking into something else (I found Mario Badescu's Healing Cream to work wonders on my skin!)

I have combination skin and have a fragrance allergy. I bought the fragrance free version about 6 months ago and it's a very decent moisturizer. A big bottle (150ml or 5 fl oz) lasts you almost forever and it's really cheap. Just like previous reviewers, I found the top gets blocked by dried out product.
It does a good job on moisturizing my skin, doesn't sting, nice light consistency but just a basic moisturizer.
I will probably buy it again, but I need to satisfy my hunger for a bit of luxury first...
